Things I liked: Heavy duty wood construction, simple yet effective for most break barrels up to .22 caliber. Easy to sight in your high powered rifles even in a basement, or large room without worries of ricochet. Love the duct seal design for a quiet backstop.
Things I would have changed: Not to much although with .25 caliber becoming more popular maybe something a little stronger for big bores. I am hesitant to shoot my .25 break barrel at the trap for fear of damaging it.
What others should know: Lets face it for your Co2 pistols, springers in .177 or .22 and most bb or pellet pistols or rifles this a perfect design. It is mainly a indoor target giving you the ability to shoot indoors which is great. One word of caution. When you first mount that scope on your new gun keep in mind that first flyer could hit the wood or miss the trap all together. Once you get it dialed in it is great for keeping that accuracy and marksmanship all year round.
Things I liked: This trap works very well. It traps bbs and pellets with no ricochets.
Things I would have changed: I don't see anything that I would change. Well, maybe I would put a carry handle on the top to make it easier to move around.
What others should know: It is pricey. I ordered an extra back to make sure nothing goes through and it worked very well.
Things I liked: The steel plate I added to the purchase> Good design and if some you filks do not like the soft wood frame just take the time and make your frame from hard wood, oak, ash or heart wood from a good tree.
Things I would have changed: The list price is about $15.00 too highso just buy with a discount or buy one and make your own wood frame.
What others should know: Buy It!!!

I own a 1200 fps airgun, (20 joules/15 foot lbs), and shoot from 10 meters (11 yards). Will 4,5 pellets hit the backstop badly ? From experience do you recommend round headed pellets or wadcutters ? (how do they affect noise, penetration in the putty, and bouncing back from the wood?) Thanks for your help !
A double layer of putty blocks will prevent any penetration to the wood, After several hundred rounds it is advisable to remove the trapped pellets. Then smooth/push the putty back into position.
Are these traps recommended for .50 BMG at 10m?
No. You would need a very thick steel plate construction to handle that much muzzle energy. This trap would be destroyed.
Are these traps recommended for the colt peacemakers? i only know fps of my guns..what would be min/max fps range required for shooting this trap?
Sure, the Colt SAA air pistols would be fine
