The Optical Dynamics 40mm Illuminator Kit can light up your darkest nights. Featuring a patented Collimated Amplified Lens System (CALS) the Illuminator focuses a stunningly clear circle of harmonized light that illuminates your target and not the surrounding area. Powered by XLAMP XM-LC-U3-LED 720 Lumens, your target stays lit without bouncing light back toward you or bleeding into the surroundings.
Each kit includes everything you need to mount the Illuminator to your scope or rifle including a scope/rifle mount and cord switch. Each fits 1 inch and 30 mm scopes and Picatinny Rails. A green and red filter are included as well to bathe your target in pinpointed green or red light.

Bright, clear, consistent light, easily adjusted and you would think it was day light. Would recommend even though it has a few flaws. Price for kit was well placed in my opinion.
Things I would have changed:The mounting bracket to scope should be elevated more. Had to shim or it would/did hit my scope. Included an optional rear screw on back end with remote switch for mounting on stock with double sided tape. Should have a more "quick" release (M/F connector) way of leaving membrane switch connected/installed to rifle so that you can remove light and be able to again fit it in a standard gun case (in this case a soft canvas case). Now you have to unscrew the cap/rear end and replace manual button switch/cap. In the mean time, the switch is stuck to you rifle stock and cord, cap dangling. I will probably add my own disconnect....
What others should know:Have not as yet been able to catch a rodent as yet and assume it does not spook it....
