Gamo's Bone Collector IGT air rifle is not only incredibly powerful, but it has many special features that sets it apart from ordinary breakbarrel rifles with metal springs. Their proprietary gas piston means you can cock the gun and wait to take your next shot without worrying about a metal spring taking a set or losing power. Plus, gas pistons are known to shoot smoother and deliver less twang and vibration to the shooter.

Let's talk about their proprietary Shock Wave Absorber recoil pad. There's an entire industry centered around making aftermarket recoil pads to lessen the recoil to the shooter's shoulder. While the gas piston is going to seriously reduce the vibration, the SWA recoil pad will stop you from feeling much of the recoil from the remaining movement of the gun.

How about that SAT? In the past, Gamo customers have swapped out their triggers for aftermarket ones. No need to do that anymore. The Smooth Action Trigger is light years better than the previous version. It's smooth and predictable. What will that do for you? It'll improve your groups. Unpredictable and heavy triggers or triggers that don't break crisply are often responsible for delivering larger groups. You'll be amazed at how good a shot you are when you shoot the Bone Collector IGT air rifle.

Things I liked: i love the power and the way it feels. i have kill 12 squirrel and a pigeon. love it

Things I would have changed: the weight and sound. and wish it was bolt action.

What others should know: if you buy a crack barrel. the number one problem is that some times the barrel will bend. and to fix that just bend it with a vise and shooting it until it good to go.

Things I liked: It's a very powerful gun, in .177 caliber I destroyed my gamo metal target box after about 50 shots. Good accuracy, very lightweight and easy to shoulder. Trigger is first class.

Things I would have changed: The scope isn't why you bought the gun, so that is an auto upgrade. This gun could use a strap and strap mount.

What others should know: For hunting, it's what you want. Not very quiet, but it isn't spring powered loud. I highly recommend if looking to rid yourself of pests or put small game quarry in the freezer.

  • Christopher from USA asked:

Is this different from the bull whiasper

    • Stanley from USA:

Specs differ slightly, the bull whisperer is a spring piston rated at 1400fps and is a 1/2 pound heavier , 1 inch longer , cocking effort is said to be 41 pounds , and comes with a 3x9x40mm AO scope . Also 70 dollars more. Making up for up graded scope package.
