FX Airguns has taken the same innovative approach it’s always applied to building high-end, high-performance airguns and applied it to airgun optics accessories with its No Limit scope-ring lineup.

With 0.17-inch of vertical adjustment, these rings are the ideal solution for long-range air rifle shooting and help scopes retain their accuracy even after they run out of adjustment thanks to far-off targets.

At 100 meters, they allow for a 4-meter shift to compensate for crosshair movement. This is especially useful at greater distances, allowing shooters to use their crosshairs to find their scopes’ sweet spots and compensate for projectile drop.
If you’re looking to up your airgun’s long-range accuracy, these FX No Limit rings might be just the thing your setup needs.

Things I liked:

They worked what I needed to do. That’s what I like about it.

Things I would have changed:

I wish they had quick release levers on it so I could take it off the gun faster

What others should know:

I checked all around and this is the best day to make a fine

Things I liked:

These are hands down the nicest rings I know of for some air rifles. I have been a gunsmith for many years, so I have used many different mounts, I think at some point I have used them all. I used to like Talley mounts the best, and I still do for large caliber powder burners, but for airguns, these have become my go to scope mounts. Especially for break barrel springers, as the barrel-to-spring tube angle can (usually is) off a few degrees. This means that on many springers with fixed mounts, even with the scope adjustments cranked all the way to the stops, the gun will still be shooting high or low. With these mounts, that is a simple fix: Just loosen the side screws on the mounts, and adjust one end or the other of the scope a little up or down as needed to adjust the point of imp[act and then you can do the final sighting in with the scope adjustment. I see this as primarily a barrel angle correction mount for break barrel springers. And it works perfect for this!

Things I would have changed:

I love the dovetail mount FX No Limit mounts as it is. I see no changes that would improve that version of this mount. The Picatinny / Weaver type FX No Limit mounts have a large hex nut for the mounting screw. I do not like that very much, although it is common on Picatinny type mounts. That is just my personal preference. I'd rather see a socket head screw for the mounting as on the dovetail mount version.

What others should know:

These are a bit expensive, compared to fixed scope mounts, but let's face it: Airgunning has become an expensive hobby. As with most things in life, you get what you pay for. These are expensive but nice. I recommend these mounts above all others for most break barrel springers.

Things I liked:

Easy to align my scope without using dangerous shims which could damage the tube. My UTG Bug Buster compact scope is great for shooting targets closer than 30 feet (10m) but with its original mounting rings I had the elevation adjustment turned all the way downward to align the Point of Impact with the Point of Aim (POI/POA) for nearby targets. With these FX mounting rings I was able to align the scope with the elevation adjustment back in the center of its range. These mounts are robust and hold the scope tightly.

Things I would have changed:

Can't think of a thing I would change. They look great and work great. Simple to set up and adjust (see below). You get the most out of your optics when using the centers of the lenses rather than having the elevation adjustment turned all the way down. Don't even think about using a shim on the rear ring; it is like strapping your scope tube to a stair step. This is the right way to do it without stressing the scope tube. Couldn't ask for more, seriously. I'm very happy I spent the money and bought these mounts. Totally worth it and I have recommended them to my friends having similar issues with barrel droop or close-in targeting.

What others should know:

When switching to these mounts, I recommend first setting your scope to the center of its elevation adjustment before mounting. My scope has a range of 5 full turns on the adjuster, or 2-1/2 turns up or down from center. Center your adjuster THEN mount the scope. Next test fire a few rounds to determine the adjustment needed on the rings. My hits were well below my aim point with both mounts flat down. To adjust the aiming point I loosened the front mount alignment bolt a quarter turn, loosened the rear one and lifted it slightly allowing both rings to tilt forward slightly, then snugged the bolts and fired again until the hits were almost perfectly aligned with my aiming point. It only took a tiny amount of tilt or rear mount lift to make a big difference. Once the mount alignment was nearly perfect I used my scope elevation adjuster for fine tuning the last little touch. Get these and you'll love them as I do!

  • Robby from USA asked:

Would these work on a magnum springer ? I wonder if you'd get a POI shift after a while.

    • Dino from USA answered:

I put these scope mounts on a Gamo Swarm Magnum .22 rifle (Break Barrel). No matter if you apply Lock-tite. The recoil breaks the seal on the adjust height and moves. It will not stay POI. I achieved the height I wanted. I am now modifying the mounts for non-movement. I already modified the Picatinny rail. I just hope the Hawke Airmax 4-12x50 scope can hold up to the recoil.

    • Mark from USA answered:

That con be an issue with fully adjustable scope rings. at a minimum you need to blue loctite all the screws.

  • Burton from USA asked:

looking for rings for a benelli 95e

    • Mark from USA answered:

These rings will fit the Benelli 95e. The pistol has weaver rail on the top.
