Thompson M1A1 Full-Metal Body AEG
Note: The battery compartment in the butt of the rifle contains a dark gray foam insert. This can be removed using a cork screw or long wood screw to accommodate SDERBAT6-MINI.
This is an authentic replica of the Thompson Submachine Gun: "The gun that helped to change the world". The original was used triumphantly by the US Army Cavalry in World War II. The Auto Ordnance Corporation produced more than 1,750,000 Thompson Submachine guns which were used to help repel Nazi Germany from Europe. This is a fully licensed replica with superior detail.
The Cybergun Thompson M4A1 submachine gun features the Swiss Arms Power Booster. The power booster is a plug & play burst control unit. The unit allows your gun to fire in 1-15 round bursts. The power booster has two plugs, simply plug the short plug into the gun and plug the long plug into the power booster to use. You'll need to program the power booster to accommodate your gun's AEG battery (supported AEG battery types: 11.4 & 7.1V LiPo & 8.4 & 9.6V NiMh). Use a small pin to properly program the unit to the type of AEG battery you're using. Example. For 8.4 NiMh AEG battery types: Push down and hold the button until the light turns red, press the button down 3 times to select the 8.4V NiMh battery type & hit and hold the button down.
The power booster can also be programmed the desired number of burst fire shots (between 1-15). To program the burst fire: hold the trigger down to let your AEG cycle, you'll feel a vibration in the grip. Release the trigger after the vibration is felt and pull the trigger down the number of burst fire shots you desire from the gun. Example for a 3-shot burst: Pull the trigger down four times & hold the trigger down on the fouth time until you feel a vibration in the grip. Release and pull the trigger for the 3-shot burst.

Things I liked: I like that its almost the same weight as a real one
Things I would have changed: Stenciling to stamping and IM wood to actual wood
Things I liked: - Extremely accurate! - Very Powerful! NOT a toy! - Convenient loading - Convenient battery hatch - Roomy capacity mag - Looks great! - Heavy feel and weight - A TON of fun!
Things I would have changed: - Included 1100Mah NiMh battery is garbage...make sure you have a different battery on hand or you won't be shooting squat. I plan on using my lipos....but be sure polarity is correct as Airsoft guns use reverse polarity of RC batteries!!!!!! - I tried a 9.6v NiMh battery I got from Amazon and it worked great! The gun becomes a tack driver!
What others should know: You should know the description of this gun has errors. As of 05/23/18, It claims the gun comes with a Swiss Arms Power Booster (which if you look close, only comes with some M4A1 model which I don't see listed anywhere on this site as an airsoft.). THIS gun comes with no such thing!!!! It also lists 11.4v and 7.1v lipo capacity which there is no such thing. Lipos run 11.1v and 7.4v. They might update the description since I pointed the errors out. I plan to get Mini Tamiya adapters and try my 11.1v lipos, but first I have to reverse the polarity on the Mini Tamia connector. All in all I am VERY impressed with this gun....even over my CO2 models which don't work so well in cold weather, but this gun will! For target shooting, this is more than I had hoped for in an automatic gun. Other than the misleading descriptions of this gun, I am very happy with it and more than a little impressed!
Things I liked: Looks great and works great.
Things I would have changed: I would like to get some slightly shorter magazines (which would be 20 rounds .45 acp) which would be more realistic but otherwise everything is fine. Authentic sling (WWII) would be leather. Vietnam would be green web with metal closer. Leather would be cost prohibitive but the other, green web, would be better.
What others should know: You should thoroughly enjoy this "Blast from the Past" the tendency is to forget that it's got plastic furniture so be a little kind in your handling and don't mess with the orange muzzle. It looks that real.

How do I remove the orange tip for military simulations? I'd like to be able to put it back on (if at all possible) as well.
what is the difference between this m1a1 for $159.95 and the action kit m1a1 for $179 ????
the one for $179 has the power booster...
Is there a site I can order specific replacement parts for this? There are a few bits that either broke or went missing during our latest move.
You would want to contact Cyber Gun for assistance
