Things I liked: Hits like a hammer. Bam! Bushy-tailed tree rats drop immediately.

Things I would have changed: Maybe make a teflon coated version.

What others should know: Groups tend to be wider than expected, but still good for hunting.

Things I liked: I took a 1400fps,rifle break barrel ,put a very small amount of lube grease on the head of the piledriver pellet and was astonished at the results. There for PCP rifles, which is not what your supposed to do.

Things I would have changed: Price is a little steep, but for the results alright.

What others should know: To continue my experiment if you turn the pellet around do you get a hollow point effect.

  • Shaun from USA asked:

Why are they only for PCP guns? Will they jam or just fail to perform in break-action?

    • Neil from USA:

I have used the .177 and the .22 version, and they will work in a break barrel, HOWEVER, be advised that it will require you to use some type of flat surfaced instrument to drive the pellet into the breech. these pellets seem to be a bit oversized. I have literally wiped off a ring of lead from my Prowlers after driving them into the breech. Having said this, my .177 loves them as much as most other pellets, just the POI is a bit higher at 15yds. Still working on the .22 but am hopeful.
