Things I liked: very good quality, fair pricing.

Things I would have changed: nothing

What others should know: The 18" barrel in my AFTalon SS (I have the extended Shroud) is the "nail set" in an already "tack driver" 12" barrel with the 10.5gr Premiers.

Things I liked: It arrived promptly by ground shipping ahead of schedule. The the people at Pryamyd Air were helpful but unfortunately. at the time I purchased this barrel, they were inaccurate as to what AirForce rifles it fit. This might be an excellent barrel for certain AirForce rifles. But it doesn't fit an AirForce EDGE rifle. Don't let anyone tell you differently. It fits the AirForce Talon, Talon SS & Condor guns. After the size problem was discovered, the people at Pryamyd Air were prompt and helpful in arranging a return and refund.

Things I would have changed: A clear definitive statement in the product description that this barrel DOES NOT fit an AirForce EDGE rifle I wish that PA also carried the U1097 Lothar Walther Barrel - .177 - 18" 12mm Barrel which does fit the EDGE

What others should know: Tom Gaylord did an excellent multi-part review of the EDGE in which he did a velocity test of the 12", the 18" and the 24" .177 barrels. He concludes that the best barrel upgrade for the EDGE is the 18" barrel. "The Edge seems to benefit greatly from the 18-inch barrel. It gains significant velocity, and the velocity spread from the slowest to fastest pellet remains pretty much the same as with the 12-inch barrel." https://www.pyramydair.com/blog/2010/1/airforce-edge-part-5/ But this review had to have been done with the 12mm version of this .177 barrel. The U1031 is a heavy barrel and is 18mm in diameter. If your looking to upgrade an AirForce EDGE rifle, you'll need the U1097 Lothar Walther Barrel - .177 - 18" 12mm Barrel instead.
