Enjoy this scope! The turrets are a bit aggressive in texture, but it tracks well and has great glass.

This scope has great clarity and looks very well made. I haven't shot it past 100 yards yet, but I like the feel of the turrets: very precise and solid. The illuminated reticle would be great in low light conditions. Made in Japan to very high standards.

The glass is great, the reticle is very fine and precise, but the scope could use better engineered turrets that are for one Lockable, and a bit more positive. At this price point it should also include caps or at least have a good offering/option to buy.

So - to be honest I was not originally considering an Athlon. I started looking into other options and stumbled on Athlon due to a backorder I had been waiting to be filled by another company that I'm usually partial to.
After doing research and speaking to their Pro rep - I decided to try it out.
This is sitting on a Ruger Precision 300prc. I've shot with it in varying temperatures, mid day - dusk - night.
Done tracking tests and made repeated hits out to 1765yds.
It has surprised me... this is a high end product for mid range money.
There is a slight yellowing on the edges in the 18x range. Besides that, this product is pretty much without flaw.
Reticle is nice - very similar to the Mk5HD that is what I am used to so switching between guns is easy.
Illuminated Reticle is nice - color does not bleed.

I have used this optic numerous times and am still overwhelmed by the clarity and illumination settings it provides. I will be purchasing this item again for my next build.

This optic without a doubt is Amazing! Very robust, FFP, endless adjustments, very clear glass "even while maxed out". For the price you can't get anything better!

Shoot this scope in PRS and NRL22x matches. Tracks true, great turrets, clear glass, and perfect reticle.

Unfortunately there is not a lot of information on this scope out there. The clarity and reticle of this spotter is awesome. Crisp focus and very easy to understand reticle. The included picatinny rail is nice to mount your range finder if you so desire. Rail can be mounted at 12, 3 or 9 o'clock position.

Easy to lose scope caps. Wish they had the ability to be tethered.

I have tried many optics over the in the past 30 years from nearly all manufacturers and I would put this Cronus BTR Gen2 optic up against any of them.
