    Things I liked:

    The power and accuracy.

    Things I would have changed:

Big air tank for more shots.

    What others should know:

This is a great air rifle. This thing love to shot all kinds of ammo. Have found Griffin 135 gr hpbt to be sub moa at 100 yards.

    Things I liked:

I have had a .45 Texan for over a year. This year I have shot 6 pigs, and about 1/2 of them dropped on the spot. I will probably take a couple of does in the late Texas special season in the next couple of weeks. I try to keep all shots under 50 yards. I use Hunter Supply 250 gr hollow point or 350 gr flat point. I use a Burris 3-9 scope instead of a high power air rifle scope since I consider this a hunting rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

The thin rubber overlay on the butt started coming off, and while deciding how to best glue it back, I had an inspiration. I tried a standard AR slip on recoil pad that I had laying around--and it fits and looks like it was made for it! It also fits my Condor, so I will be ordering another one for it.

    Things I liked:

powerful and accurate very impressed bought this as a gift for my husband. sort of expensive but well worth it! he is now stuck on owning a collection of these in different calibers.

    Things I would have changed:

the rail size it is so hard to find a bi-pod to fix this gun that won't break the bank

    What others should know:

gun is very loud not back yard friendly and to powerful to be shot in urban areas use with extreme caution

    Things I liked:

The gun is well designed, not complicated to operate. The adjustable power is a very cool feature. Speaking of power, the output is astonishing. For a production rifle, the details are very good. I have no doubt that it will be a reliable piece. The accuracy is as good as anything I have ever seen. No regrets buying this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing as far as the gun. It seems priced a bit high, beyond the budget of a lot of people.

    What others should know:

The range of ammo available in .457 is very nice. I charge my air tank with a hand pump. It takes anywhere from 35 to 80 pumps per shot depend on the 'pellet' grain weight. The gun is LOUD. The noise and the kick are proportional to the projectile weight.

    Things I liked:

Power and accuracy is awesome, when you hold the Texan you can really feel the good workmanship that went in it.

    Things I would have changed:

I would like to see the newer valve set up on the .357 like its Bigger brothers. Also do something about it valve locking from time to time. Other then that it is solid.

    What others should know:

This thing is loud!! You wont Be disappointed with any of the Texan big bores. I ordered the hunters combo and still been waiting to hear something about the air bolts but no one can give me ETA just that there on back order. Smh.

    Things I liked:

This thing is freaking awsome. Pretty sure everyone knows this is not a backyard friendly gun, but I'm gonna say it again, even with a moderator it is pretty loud. Lighter ammo like the round balls in 308 are definitely supersonic with the associated crack. The gun feels super solid like a real gun should. I've only just begun to get it sighted in but every indication is it will be a very accurate hunting gun. Can't wait to bag my first coyote.

    Things I would have changed:

Owners manual is a little sparce on specifics like maintenance and specifics on recommended ammo. Be nice if their website had online ordering and prices of accessories.

    What others should know:

Its Loud, makes big holes in stuff.

    Things I liked:

Nice looking rifle, bit long. Bought it to tear apart and change the air pressure, hammer, valve, bottle, moderator and such. Shoots like the best, fast, powerful and secure.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it a 300 bar rifle and have the compressed air stored under the barrel too, so there is more backup. Please make a strong bipod for this rifle...

    What others should know:

Not an indoor or backyard rifle. Even with a good moderator still a big bang :-)

    Things I would have changed:

    Needs a more reliable valve.

    What others should know:

Beware of the TX2 valve..Just got the .50 Texan, took it to the range, charged it to 3000 psi. shot it 3 or 4 times, recharged it to 3000 psi, shot it 2 or 3 times, on the next shot the valve dumped to zero .and drove the scope back into my eye, lots blood. Called Air Force and talked to Camille. It was a very unsatisfactory call. Her position was that it was operator error, and there was no way anything could be wrong with the TX2 valve. She suggested that I recharge the tank and fire it again to see if the same thing happened again, which would hve been nuts..When I removed the tank and valve to send it back to Air Force (at my expense) when I shook the tank there was a rattle in it, maybe a broken part of the valve? It should be noted that I have owned an Air Force Condor .177 for some years and have had no problems with it.

    Things I liked:

Everything! So far I've had only a chance to fire it @ 10 meters, in the basement. I'm using a cheap scope & mounts, until my 30 mm mounts arrive. Then I'll mount my intended Hawke scope, & start to get serious, outside. Until then, I'm conservative on the "accuracy" rating. But it sure does look promising!! I've got to workup the power settings for the (2) different "flat nose slugs" that I obtained @ the purchase. (Fun ahead ~ eee-ha!!)

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing, so far.

    Things I liked:

simplicity. easy to use and power, this airgun is awesome on power and accuracy without to much tuning. The lack of percussion makes this a hunting gun I can shoot without headaches and noise level is minimal with moderator. LOUD without

    Things I would have changed:

does not take much to remove bluing from barrel. just taking the end cap off scars the barrel rest of the airgun seems to have a harder bluing coat on it.

    What others should know:

wonderful hunting airgun for large game. with the right bullets I have been lucky and dropped large pigs and deer in there tracks. Practice is essential for proper shot placement and judgement on whether to take the shot or not . 100 yard kills are a reality. large range of bullets to select from both premade and casting molds. Not backyard friendly without moderator

    Things I liked:

This gun is powerful, and I mean powerful! Before purchasing the AirForce Texan, I purchased a Seneca Dragon Claw .50 caliber big bore air rifle, last year, and thought nothing could compare, but the AirForce Texan, surpasses my Dragon Claw, when it comes power. I like the power of the gun, the accuracy, the ease of reloading it, and the feel of the gun, when its against your shoulder, it just fits.

    Things I would have changed:

The length is a bit long, but I knew what I was getting, and the length will be something I get used to.

    What others should know:

The gun is loud, not at all backyard friendly, so if you have close neighbors, you may have to shoot elsewhere.

    What others should know:

READ directions when assembling even if you think you know how hit goes together its will help you in the end. put a small dab of silicon grease on air tank O ring. and loosen the small grub screw that lock the tank nut in before installing

I would not change anything but it be nice if it came with scope mounts or even the whole scope unit.

    What others should know:

The sound of it and kickback is equivalent to an AR15. You can get around ten accurate shots before it starts losing pressure. Last thing is save you money to buy a 4000psi compressor, you dont always want to use a hand pump. It takes around 400-500 pumps

    Things I would have changed:

AR style weaver rails everywhere like the Benjamin armada would be super nice in a perfect world but Oh well !

    What others should know:

Wear ear plugs , it is loud , and expect a little kick ,

    What others should know:

The Texan .457 is really a very accurate gun. And if tuned right, it is amazing. Setting your ammo to the proper setting when you dial it in on the rifle may take a few rounds to set, but once it;s there the gun will react exactly as it should. This gun is a crafted piece of equipment that's far above most other rifles. and if you check out most of the other reviews and videos by people on U-Tube, you can get a sense of just how much you can do with this gun. But one thing I will say for everyone that owns this gun is that you should get your self a deresonator which will take the vibration out of the barrel when you shoot. You can get them at Hunter Supply, and also, if you want your gun to be very quiet, like mouse farts, then you should get the Texan Short Shroud .457, it's so silent that you can't even hear the crack of the rifle. It's at Hunters Supply too.I use both because I shoot indoors when weather is nasty or too cold, or wet, I have a little over 10 meters indoors.
