Purchased the 1866 junior online. When it came it was more than I expected. Light weight and easily pumped. It's a plus that it will shoot pellets as well as bb's. It was a present for my 7 year old son and his older brothers who have different guns are jealous.

My son was so excited to get his first BB gun today, Christmas morning! Love how safety oriented everything is and that it came with everything needed (gun, bb's, targets, glasses) to open and start shooting!!!!

Its been 20+ years since ive held a bb/pellet gun. My first thought was man this thing is cheap. Itweighs almost nothing. But for the price and purpose it'll work just fine. We have already used the paper targets and some small metal ones to plink with. Im not sure how much my kiddo will use it but i was acting like a sniper lol

So far I think the air rifle is GREAT!!! It has a nice feel to it. It looks decent. It is my son's first air rifle and I believe it will make him feel comfortable and build confidence as time goes on.

The barra 1866 junior was a big hit on Christmas. My son absolutely loves it. It's his third bb gun and he said it's by far his favorite (even over his red Ryder). Now he can shoot his barra Jr. Along with dad and his full size barra 1866.It's great that he can shoot bb's and pellets ,and the auto safety after every shot is a really nice safety device for first time shooters. The looks of the gun are absolutely gorgeous.. Would definitely recommend for a first bb gun for a new shooter.
