    Things I liked:

    The quality is good.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger! Atrocious, long rough pull, never know exactly where it's going to release! I think Benjamin should be issuing replacement triggers!

    What others should know:

Initial accuracy is erratic, experimenting with ammo, 150 shots in may be getting better, maybe I'm getting more used to the horrible trigger. I will order aftermarket trigger, but feel that Benjamin should be providing these!

    Things I liked:

Velocity, accuracy, scope, sound, pistol grip stock, kill power.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing, NOT even the trigger.

    What others should know:

Some people here are having trouble hitting the target with this rifle so here are my observations after shooting daily with this in .177 for a month... 1) Do not fire this from a rigid bench rest as the big recoil will cause this rifle to bounce even if locked in 2) Use a sand or bean bag to rest your hand on then rest the rifle forend on your hand as this will reduce any bounce 3) With the .177 pellet use the Crosman Magnum Dome 10.5 grains - lighter pellets will be traveling too fast for accuracy 4) After shooting more than a thousand rounds I can consistently hit 8 out of 10 in a one inch circle at 20 yards. While shooting one day a fly landed on my target & I hit it - again at 20 yards 5) I have taken out 9 raccoons with brain shots and several smaller pests with body shots - chipmunks, sparrows, rats, & mice 6) Hold the forend just in front of the trigger to reduce bounce from the recoil 7) This rifle has a big recoil because of the extra power and the shooter needs to learn the right touch to handle this without throwing off accuracy. The artillery hold didn't work for me so I use a semi-firm grip - just enough to hold the crosshairs steady while squeezing the trigger 8) Buy an offset Phillips screwdriver at your local hardware store to adjust the travel and tension of the trigger - you DON'T have to remove the stock. Many people have complained about the 2 stage trigger but I like it...squeeze, adjust aim, squeeze, fire. I have forty years experience as a shooter.

    Things I liked:

Over all design is nice. It shoots hard.

    Things I would have changed:

Make in USA. Give it a barrel that will not shoot in a shotgun pattern. Won't hit what you aim at.

    What others should know:

This AG some I guess will do well but some others do not and I've read about a lot of the Crosman Trails that don't. My Trail All Weather started out bad, that was expected because of the break in period, and got worse. At this pioint I have put almost 2000 pellets through the gun. The break in period is supposed to be 250. Sometimes it would do good and sometimes it would do the shotgun thing. Shooting alover the target without making and adjustment to the scope. This was at 50 feet. The bear trap safety is supposed to keep the trigger from being pulled while cocking and being loaded. A safety feature to keep fingers from being caught in the breach. Mine failed and luckily mine weren't in the way. When this information was given to Crosman it didn't seem to bother them. When they were told that it wouldn't sight in they said it was probably me or the pellets that were being used.Crosman Premiers are the pellets that were used because in little rock its either them or Gamo. Over all I think the problem is quality control in Chine or the lack of it. Crosman can do way better than this. I think it was a cheep way out. But for $200 it wasn't cheep for me. I sure didn't get my moneys worth. Sorry to say but if you buy a Benjamin Trail it is my feeling that you get what you pay for, something made in a country where there is no quality control. And being sold by a company that is seems to know it and not be concerned.

    Things I liked:

Tack Driver! The 22 version is a GREAT small varmint gun. I have put several hundred rounds through this gun. It takes a little more arm strength to cock than my spring gun. It has OK accuracy at first, and after 100 rounds it gets better. After 200 rounds it becomes a tack driver. The crack of the gun firing has diminished over time and now it kind of reminds me of a blowgun. A big blowgun! I have dropped several large grey squirrels from an upstairs window at a distance of about 40 yards. I mean drop. Very nice handling, good scope, very cool looking. Excellent value!

    Things I would have changed:

Yes, the trigger could be better, as many have said. For a casual shooter with reasonable fundamental skills, like me, it's not that big an issue. That being said, I like the gun so much, I may upgrade the trigger for fun.

    Things I liked:

I just picked up this gun tonight after going through two Gamo's in the past month. Both Gamo's just felt cheaply built and had scopes that were nearly impossible to zero in. This is not the case with the trail np. Powerful, solidly built and even the scope seems pretty nice (for the price tag).. I was able to zero in the scope very quickly and start knocking out quarter sized groupings from about 25 yards within the first 30 minutes or so. I love the weight of the gun too. It's a little heavier that the Gamo's were but it feels sturdy and nicely balanced. I'm definitely happy with my purchase and would recommend this gun to anyone. Great value for the money and then some..

    Things I would have changed:

    The trigger.. Very long pull.

    Things I liked:

sling, mildot scope, pretty much everything but trigger.

    Things I would have changed:

trigger is the only thing i would have changed

    What others should know:

today i got the gun, im 13 so i can go through alot of pellets, right out of the box with out any breakin time it was hitting 1/2 inch groups, after me and dad got it really sited in, i shot a chimpmunk at about 20 to 30 yards, then at about 60 to 70 yards i hit a can holding about 4 dots high, the scope only has 3 dots but the crosshairs turn into thicker lines after the 3rd dot and i aimed were it make the transition, hit it second shot. i am very impressed, i also shot a starling and sparrow. this is a great by.

    Things I liked:

22 cal packs nice punch.Pistol grip stock is perfect ergonomics for me.Very accurate once broken in at appx 150 shots.Shrouded barrel adds nice weight balance to front end.Scope is good match and quality and rail is nice touch.Nitro piston is much smoother shot than springers and quiet compared to my 177 springer.Sling will come in handy.

    Things I would have changed:

2 stage stock trigger?.LOL mine cam with an 8 stage grainy trigger that pulled forever at about 7 lbs.Surface of trigger rough as hell, tip of finger raw after an hr..Pulled my GRT3 trigger out of my Stoeger X20 and dropped it in here.Quick clean up and debur of stock trigger assembly as well and now it pulls clean and breaks crisp at about 2 lbs with distinct 2 stages.

    What others should know:

Great dollar for performance and features.1/4 turn of barrel bolt and 1 turn of stock mount bolts for max tightness from factory.2 patches to clean barrel.150 shots later its punching 1/4" clover leaf hole consistently at 30 yds.CPHP pellets shoot very well but some of the loose fit pellets result in about a 1/2" flyer at 30 yds.

    Things I liked:

Metalwork, fit and finish are very good. It is quiet, the pellet impact noise is greater than the gun. All weather stock. The gas piston is cool. The scope is clear and bright, it adjusts well.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is horrible. Mine had 1/2 inch length of pull and letoff was inconsistant. Called Benjamin and they suggested I get an aftermarket trigger!! My gun shifts point of impact from day to day and accuracy is not impressive. I have a Beeman Webly that is 30 years old that groups 1/3 the size of my Trail.

    What others should know:

Beeman Premium HP 14gr pellets group the best for me so far, but chrono at 710fps. (22 cal at 10' from muzzle) GRT trigger installed and what a world of difference, but added 16% to the cost of the airgun.

    Things I liked:

It's heavy! I actually like that. I'm more comfortable and steady with it. Scope is decent. Put about 60 rounds through it. First day this thing was very loud with the light pellets. I am shooting at paper at around 40 yards and it's fairly accurate after the initial 50-60 rounds. Looks great. Quite a change from my spring guns. Shipped very quickly to my home.

    Things I would have changed:

Out of the box the breech had a few burrs. Couldn't even get a pellet into the barrel. Had to take a fine file and carefully deburr it. Thought about returning it but didn't want to go through the hassle. Seems to have worked satisfactorily. Wouldn't recommend that practice though. Trigger is not good as has been mentioned in other reviews. I am generally satisfied and would have rated it higher if it weren't for those nasty burrs. QC needs to get on the ball.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate, great scope, stock is comfortable and steady, love the attached base, no worries about screws coming loose. Even comes with a decent sling for field carry.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger, Trigger, Trigger. Advertised as a two-stage trigger, trigger is actually a whole lot of creep, then stacks, then stacks again before the final pull. I will be looking to upgrade this trigger soon.

    What others should know:

Great rifle for a great price! I am still breaking it in and have already shot several 3 shot groups under 1/2" at 50 feet with RWS Super-H-Point 14.2 grain pellets. By far this rifle's favorite pellet thus far. I do plan on trying some heavier weight pellets.

    Things I liked:

It's super quiet. I didn't expect it to be that quiet

    Things I would have changed:

There is no way to adjust the trigger without taking the stock off the gun.

    What others should know:

I couldn't get any reasonable accuracy out of my gun, even after a couple hundred rounds. It has the worst trigger I have ever encountered. I sent it back and traded it for a XL. Hopefully I get better results in accuracy and trigger pull with this one.

    Things I liked:

    Accuracy, quality of enclosed scope

    Things I would have changed:

Shorten the vertical length of the grip/stock (top of receiver to bottom of grip) or get rid of pistol grip alltogether. The bottom of the handgrip and stock extend too far down with the scope attached to fit into any but the very largest of soft gun cases. Even most scoped rifle soft cases will not fit. If at all possible bring rifle with you to test before buying.

    What others should know:

SOMETHING VERY STRANGE OCCURED. When removed from box, rifle had moisture spots all over stock and barrel. When picked up MOISTURE SEEPED OUT OF RIFLE BUTT . Removal of buttpad revealed moisture inside that had to be removed with paper towels. After drying, and cleaning of waterspots, could find no signs of rust or corrosion. Rifle functioned and fired properly, and none of included accesories such as scope showed any signs of mmoisture.

Looks good, feels good, seems to have decent quality and power.

    Things I would have changed:

Delete the stock molded trigger guard and leave a standard metal guard. Makes the stock look cheap and oversized for the gun.

    What others should know:

Was unable to insert a pellet due to a large flat spot in the bore opening at the 10' o-clock position. either a burr or incomplete bore. may try to bevel the opening to facilitate insertion before sending back. Buttstock shoulder pad has some mismatch from stock to pad plate and excess glue. looks a bit cheap and QC to be lacking.

    Nitro piston power-plant. Quiet shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

Lighten up this rifle! Stock is way too heavy. A better trigger. One of the worst I have had (of four air rifles).

    What others should know:

I immediately put a GRT-III custom trigger on the gun and did serious lightening of the stock. It is a fairly powerful and accurate gun. It has performed pretty well right out of the box, with the exception of the trigger. It is very quiet, sounding like a low-powered nail gun. The scope and mount is decent, though I took it off and the mount's repeatability was poor. It shot pretty far off and had to be re-sighted. A good value for what it is. It has killed plenty of rodents already.

    Things I liked:

Once in a while a person finds something that fits perfectly. This Air Rifle Combo is just that. From the moment I took it out of the box It has been one of my favorite purchases ever. I am so happy that I ignored some of the reviews that people wrote in whining about the trigger. Hey, the trigger is quite nice as far as I am concerned. I guess some folks like to sound technical and criticize the pull of the trigger and how much better the gr whatever from charlie the tuna is. Here is the feeling of a normal...well, pretty normal...guy. This is a Very nice, extremely well balanced rifle that shoots like a dream! A VERY QUIET dream too. My neighbor says it sounds like it has a "silencer" on it. I am disabled and confined to a wheelchair, so my range is in a driveway about 45 feet long. From the first day that I took the first shot from this gun, a 2 inch shoot-n-c target gets 6 out of 7 in the 10 ring REGULARLY! In fact seriously this gun is a work of art for target shooting. Now finally a word about service. I could not ask for better packaging, shipping, phone assistance or just plain courtesy anywhere from anyone.

    Things I would have changed:

    I would not change anything.

    What others should know:

This is just one fine air rifle. Oh and it is really nice looking too!

Very accurate and hard hitting gun. Was totally surprised at the power of this thing. Shot th3 3/4 in. 10 ring out of a target at 28 yds. Very nice. It is capable of more in a good shooter's hands.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is really rough from the factory. Replaced it with a GRT III and it made a world of difference. Misses are caused by me now, and I can't blame the trigger.

    What others should know:

I would definitely recommend this gun for adults.

    Things I liked:

the stock...the feel...the appearance. it has a good feel and handles well. it cocks easily and is easy to shoulder and aim. good quality materials and overall design and execution of details.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd like to see a better quality control before delivery to the distributor from the factory to head off potential "issues"

    What others should know:

the rifle i received seems to have "issues" with accuracy. (maybe it's just this individual rifle.) i found that the front stock mounts loosen after about ten rounds from the recoil, the barrel pivot bolt works loose in about the same. I'm working on a resolution; the POI changed dramatically frequently. i had to bevel the chamber as it was difficult to load a pellet. i have been unable to actually zero the rifle as the issues have been being dealt with as i find and identify them. I've gone thru nearly 400 rounds for "break in" now and hopefully i have identified and will resolve the issues. the potential and power this rifle exhibits are worth looking into for the price and the little bit of effort it takes to make it into a good rifle for the dollar.
