    Things I liked:

power, cocking effort is low for power

    Things I would have changed:

    Scope

    What others should know:

Barrel was very rough, muzzle crown ragged. Shot terrible until rectified. Get a better scope.

    Things I liked:

I bought this rifle because of the Nitro 2 piston and the trigger design. This rifle is relatively quiet, powerful, accurate ( it's more accurate than most people can shoot without a rest). Crosman Premier Hollow Points average 5/8th inch groups at 30 yds, 750 fps. JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo heavy average 650 fps. and 1/2 inch groups at 30 yds. Predator Polymags 730 fps 1 1/4 inch groups at 30 yds.

    Things I would have changed:

Butt stock is just a hair short, pistol grip could be a little larger but is still serviceable. The Center Point scope is junk. I put a Hawke 3-9x50 Sport HD AO IR scope on it. Great choice.See my review on that.

    What others should know:

Very accurate but is somewhat hold sensitive, And trigger control even when adjusted to your liking is imperative. Overall for a break barrel It's a great buy.

    Things I liked:

Love this gun...amazing accuracy, quiet and impressive of power! Best break barrel gun all around. I am an airgun enthusiast and own over 12 different air rifles and must say this is one of my favorite break barrel air rifle to hunt and shoot with. I ordered this from Pyramidair and shipping was amazing fast. Thanks Pyramidair for this fast service and will definitely buy form you again!

    Things I would have changed:

Price could be a little less. An air rifle shouldn't be as expensive as the real ones.

Very nice gun and does not have "Made in China " on it. I love the sling mounts.

    Things I would have changed:

Plastic barrel end cap and trigger guard. Wish they would have thrown in a sling.

    What others should know:

Throw a sling on it, dial it in and go have fun.

i couldnt believe how quiet it is. its very accurate, picking pecans off my tree. love the looks and the feel. for me the weight is not bad and is well balanced.

    Things I would have changed:

    scope sucks

    What others should know:

took over 100 rounds before it settled down, but once it did, at 25 yards shot after shot inside of a quarter no problem!!! I worried about all the bad reviews, but i really liked the looks and the specs. thought it couldnt be that bad. i think its awesome.

    Things I liked:

The lies about how great this rifle is

    Things I would have changed:

    Turn lies into truth

    What others should know:

I don't know how people can place a review stating " shot great out of the box ". Unless these folks are happy with an 8" group at 23 yards, cause that's what I got. Alright, I didn't expect the dime size groups that my Marauder gives me, but this was not even close to 3 " groups. I will try to find a pellet that might suit this gun, but if if the 10 different brands I have fail, what good is this gun.

    Things I liked:

Very quiet compared to my RWS 36.

    Things I would have changed:

    Not much.

    What others should know:

I've only had time to fire about 75 pellets so far but it is getting very consistent.

    Things I liked:

Love the size, weight, and the improvements in the trigger. This is going to be the first rifle that i'm not sure I will do any trigger work to. The first stage is essentially worthless, but that's not what counts. Its completely predictable and there is no question when you hit the second. The trigger break is smooth and crisp. I only have about 150 rounds through it, but it was already starting to group up nicely.

    Things I would have changed:

I was hoping for a little more juice. I am not taking anything away from it, and don't misunderstand me, it has plenty of power. I was hoping that it would be the same amount of punch as the Umarex Octane I was replacing. The good thing about Benjamin is that "knock on wood", this one should last more than 11 months. Also the barrel shroud was a tic loose when I unpacked it, but that's probably just a fluke.

    What others should know:

This is a great gun. If a gun starts giving me issues, I always come back and modify my reviews, so if you see none; rock on. Accuracy and power with this gun are both quite promising and I have a feeling that this will be my 'go to' gun near the back door. This has more than enough zip to drop the tree rats on the bird feeder and the accuracy to put the shots where they need to be. It is also way lighter than any other gun I have with any comparable power. All in all, I'd say good buy.

    Things I liked:

For the price, you get high power, great hunting accuracy, quiet shooting and smooth action. Plus Picatinny rail.

    Things I would have changed:

Grip is for smaller hands. It has more of youth size stock. The scope is a selling gimmick, the rifle well out performs it.

    What others should know:

Has more like 19-20 ft lbs of energy. The scope is cheap, so I never installed it. Get a better scope with AO and this rifle rocks.

    Rating 3.03.0 3.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

The gun shot great right out of the box! It cocks a little harder than advertised. About the same as my Remington SSNP. The Remington is a little more accurate but it has well over a 1000 shots through it.

    Things I would have changed:

I was really disappointed with the SCOPE! that comes with this gun. Why would you build what was supposed to be a Superior gun with improved trigger, easier to cock, higher velocity and quieter? Then package it with an inferior SCOPE??? MAKES NO SENSE!!!! Speaking of velocity, the best chronograph in 10 shots was 838 FPS with lead pellets with a total variation of 10 fps.. I was hopping for more as its advertised at 900. I did read a review where some one claimed to get 898 with lead. I think he was dreaming! But maybe their is hope yet??

    What others should know:

Make no mistake this is a good gun! Crossmen just cheeped out on it. I would love to be able to buy it with out the scope that comes with it. One more thing!!! It just may be me? But with the NP being inverted the recoil is different! After 50 shots or so my trigger finger starts to swell>(hurts) (LOL) Seems I feel the recoil in my trigger finger. The trigger is not as good as I hoped for but its better than my Rem.SSNP.

    Things I liked:

    Shoots accurately and with power.

    Things I would have changed:

Currently nothing that I can think of.

    What others should know:

At first, I thought that the trigger was really long on the travel. After a minor adjustment, I suddenly found that I really liked the trigger. This is from a gun that was received after the significant delay in deliveries (i.e. I ordered when the expected delivery was about a week away which changed by more than two months away before being delivered about 3 weeks earlier than predicted.) I have seen none of the problems indicated in some previous reviews of early production guns such as the scope rail falling off. Currently, I have no known issues with the gun. I also have the Trail NP XL 725, on which I changed the trigger for a Charlie Da Tuna trigger. I enjoy that gun, but this gun is nice with a bit less power and a lot less weight. I am glad that I stuck with my order of this gun.

    Things I liked:

Stock is comfortable and internal seem to be well made so far

    Things I would have changed:

    advertising Velocity and noise levels

    What others should know:

Smooth rifle with strong crisp recoil, kind of a push pull jolt, but has minimal vibration through the synthetic stock, might be better with wood stock. The shooter hears a piston slap noise through the synthetic stock and the hit of the target, but still about the same sound level as my NP Trial XL. During test shooting, I was surprised by the sound of the piston and the instant hit of the pellet in the trap; it does have its own sound and personality. Velocity is wasn’t as advertised and not as much as my NP Trail XL for the .22-caliber lead pellets I like to use; JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo .22 Cal, 15.89 Grains and JSB Match Diabolo Exact Jumbo Heavy .22 Cal, 18.13 Grains. The cocking effort was higher than expected and trigger is a little heaver than I like but was very crisp once I removed it and polished it. At 25 yards I was able to get quarter size groups with side mounted bipods using JSB jumbo heavies. Longer distances will take a little time to get used to the trigger. It’s a good gun in this price range, but not what I was expecting. My Trail NP XL modded with a GRT-III trigger and air stripper is smoother and still my favorite, but plus it’s longer, heaver and it takes more effort to cock it. The NP2 WILL be nicer to carry around and maneuver with. Already had a Leapers UTG 3-12x44 AO Rifle Scope waiting for it so I have no info on the scope.

    Things I liked:

The light weight of a High power Nitro Piston rifle. The trigger is awesome for a out of the box factory set trigger. Takes 50 or so shots to really get the feel of it but its unique like every gun. I like it a lot. Accuracy is great once you find the right pellet. Don't ask me what mine is cause yours will not be the same. These guns have too many tolerances and variables to be exactly the same or remotely close.

    Things I would have changed:

Add a little more weight to the stock to make it less hold sensitive. A little better scope for a HIGH Power rifle combo.

    What others should know:

This is a HIGH POWER air rifle and is hold sensitive. Once you get a spot on the stock so you can rest it on your hand in the same spot every time this baby is a deadly hunting rifle. Accuracy is spot on with the Nitro Piston 2. Well worth the money.

    Things I liked:

    IT LOOKS NICE

    Things I would have changed:

MAKE IT WORK. I PUT THE SCOPE ON AND FIRED ONCE. TRIED TO COCK IT AGAIN AND IT WILL NOT LOCK OPEN AND THE TRIGER WILL NOT WORK.

    What others should know:

I ORDERED IT BEFORE IT WAS AVAILABLE AND WHEN IT DID COME IN THEY CALLED TO SEE IF I STILL WANTED IT(7/13/14). I SAID I DID AND WAS TOLD IT WOULD BE SHIPPED THE NEXT DAY. CHECKED E-MAIL TO TRACK MY ORDER AND FOUND OUT THAT MY ORDER WAS ON BACKORDER AGAIN. CALLED PYRAMYD AIR THE NEXT DAY AND WAS TOLD THAT ALL NP2'S WERE RECALLED. THEY SAID THE WOULD LET ME KNOW WHEN THEY WERE AVAILABLE. JULY 27 IT CAME & WAS SHIPPED & GOT IT SATURDAY. BENJAMIN MUST NOT HAVE CHECKED THEIR WORK OR MAYBE THEY DID NOTHING TO THEM WHEN THEY GOT THEM RECALLED. VERY DISAPPOINTING FOR ALL OF THEIR HYPE AT GUN SHOW AND IN THEIR ADS

    Things I liked:

Easy operation, good power. Approx 1010 fps with Beeman 7.1g pellets per 10 for $10 test at Pyramyd. I use heavier pellets to get farther from speed of sound. I figure 10.65g pellet should be 730. Good accuracy. I tried shorter trigger throw but went back to factory setting.

    Things I would have changed:

Mediocre scope as expected. Measures exactly same dB compared to my friend's broken in Nitro Venom, nitro piston 1, though presumably at higher pellet speed. Also same dB as my modded springer RWS34. Maybe sound is mainly from pellet cracking through the air.

    Things I liked:

Price is great. Cocking effort is slightly higher that the advetised 28 lbs, but by not much. Good fit, Out of the box, very happy with the trigger, have not done any adjustments to trigger.Very accurate, at 10 yds, I have only sighted rifle in at indoor range, max.10yds. Less that 50 rds.

    Things I would have changed:

    Better scope.

    What others should know:

To me this rifle does recoil more than other reviews. These was some sort of white residue where rifle breaks open and pellet is inserted. No idea what it is, not sure where it came from, so far has not affected performance, but I have only fired less that 50 rounds.

Finally a descent trigger . After findind the right pellet jsb 15.89 and cleaning the barrel nice groups at 30 yards 3/4 inch group and this is not even broken in yet.Still no cracks in the shroud yet over all a good rifle

    Things I would have changed:

The scope 3x9x32 no AO not very good lve changed it to a leapers 4x16 with an AO and hopefully I get the cracks like others have reported

    What others should know:

When you get it clean the barrel and definitely change the scope

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Rating 4.04.0 4.0

    Things I liked:

Lighter and quieter than my Umarex Octane .177 It also cocks lighter. Nice it has sling mounts. Just took about 12 or so shots. Center Point scope has mil dots. Took 4 shots at 20 yards to begin sighting in scope, probably its weakest link all within a 3" group. I think it will be easy to get much smaller groups because I was no even being consistant with my hold. Trigger first stage was a little gritty first 3 shots then smooth there after. Second stage break was crisp guessing 3-4 lbs. Can't wait to do more serious sighting in...I think its a winner.

    Things I would have changed:

No cracks on barrel moderator so far as reported by others. Fit and finish overall is very nice. After shooting Umarex Octane, this rifle has very little kick/recoil. Scope may have some interaction between windage & elevation adjustment. Too soon to be sure. Scope rail is attached at three points (tacked and bonded I think) rather than a continous weld. It is ok at this point. Prefer continous weld, this would be stronger

    What others should know:

It all works as hope, this is really going to be a great air rifle. I think I will be able to get some small groups. Pellets hit really hard.. don't have a crono but a couple of the CPH I used mushroomed to more than twice their original diameter! I was shooting into a very thick and dense laminate floor material. Hope this helps folks.

    Things I liked:

Great trigger, scope mounts, power, accurate. It replaces my Nitro Venom Dusk for garden protection. Sling attachments. Closest rifle to my HW97k in my colection. I really like this rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

Stock could be more appealing, but it handles well.

    What others should know:

Does not seem to cock as easy as advertised. About the same effort as my Nitro Venom. About 100 fps faster than my Nitro Venom. Rifle weighs under 7 lb.s with out scope. I only tested JSB pellets. I like the 10.34 Heavy's so I haven't felt the need try others yet.
