    Things I liked:

Four stars out of five for realism. There are a few aesthetic and functional flaws that keep this piece from being a five star. That said, this is one tremendously fun basement/backyard plinker. Notice I said "plinker", this IS NOT a target or hunting gun. I consistently get 6 shots in a 2" circle at 15 feet. To me that's all I expect from a fun plinker. Great at penetrating beer cans from the same distance.

    Things I would have changed:

Though it would increase cost and weight, an all metal cylinder ,also correct the flaws of the hammer not resting in the full down position, raise the front blade sight for more realism, I'm sure this could be compensated for. Aftermarket grips in wood or a good wood composite. Make this available in a rifled CO2 pellet version with no less than 350 fps, preferably 400 fps.

    What others should know:

Get a .177 cal. cleaning kit and clean barrel/lube moving parts every 1000 shots. Put a drop of Pellgun oil on every CO2 cartridge when changing. Do not store guns with a full or partial CO2 cartridge, this will severely reduce the life of your seals. At 15' 84 good shots are possible per CO2 cartridge. Rapid fire results in lower accuracy. Use proper breathing/shooting techniques for greatest accuracy. This gun is NOT a TOY, treat it with the same respect as its firearm counterpart!!!

    Things I liked:

The overall configuration and army sized grip, somewhat authentic cylinder and barrel group, V notch frame.

    Things I would have changed:

Taper the front sight to match the V notch, make the sides of the frame even with the sides of the trigger guard and back strap, finish off the left side of the trigger guard bow and trigger to eliminate the sprue marks, increase the diameter of the cartridges at the nose so that they fit tighter to guarantee alignment with the bore/barrel centering device. Also, the goofy looking hammer that will not sit in the frame. This looks terrible and does not allow for fanning or quick draw without catching the hand or thumb on the top edge of the hammer. A pretty stupid arrangement, considering the quality of the rest of the gun.

    What others should know:

The chambers are not smooth or machined properly at the mouth. On my example, one chamber was smooth throughout the inner circumference, while the rest had either deep casting or machined galls or raised lumps of metal. When your cartridge rests on these lumps, it moves the nose of the cartridge out of alignment. I noticed that right away, because the shots would shoot left of center on some shots and then be dead on with others. This was done at 12 feet from a supported rest. I may send it back for another, if they can check the chambers to make sure they are clean and smooth at the front end.

    Things I liked:

I don't " like " anything about this pistol - I love just about everything , I was deciding between the Nickel and blue and am really glad I got the nickel , pretty enough to put on display , this is one of the finest made guns out there , fit and finish on mine is perfect , shoots great and the shells ( I ordered a set of spares ) are heavily made and look/work great , my not so gun loving girlfriend made me promise to never sell this pistol , and I won't , nice shooter and again a thing of art .

    Things I would have changed:

Pretty much nothing , offer up some different grip colors and maybe some walnut wooden one's , and I am waiting and hoping for the UK aged version to come across the pond and I will buy it too .

    What others should know:

These sell out fast when they come in so preorder one or two and an extra set of shells , you will not be disappointed , I have a cowboy rig for my H & R 9422 and this gun fit in the holster even better , good leather will cost you but you can save some cash by ordering the rigs from Pyramid Air , I used to make holsters and I can't buy good leather for what they are selling the whole belt/holster rigs for , don't set on the fence - these are just ....well cool! .

    Things I liked:

Looks and weight gives piece feel like real thing. Safety in front of trigger guard is a nice feature that I didn't pick up in the product info.

    Things I would have changed:

Grips, wish option of wood or simulated wood (brown)were offered.

    What others should know:

1st gun shipped to me was locked up, didn't cock and couldn't be fired, waiting on a replacement now.

    Things I liked:

This is one of the nicest air gun replicas I have ever purchased. I have just about everything Umarex makes in the replica line and this is a standout. As soon as I received it in the mail I went online and ordered another! Weight and feel is excellent!!!!!! Shoots smooth!! Will be great for old west recreations when you don't want to carry a real firearm for the weekend.

    Things I would have changed:

Resting hammer position seems a bit odd, but does not detract from the gun. Would like to have seen an engraved version available below the 299.00 limited edition that is offered. Overall no complaints.

    What others should know:

If you are on the fence about this one, go ahead and pull the trigger! In the words of Clint "you gonna pull them pistols or whistle Dixie"

    Things I liked:

Looks and feels great - good weight and balance. Colt logo etching on frame is sharp and clear. Blued finish is beautiful. Accurate at 25 feet - 1.5-inch grouping. CO2 loads easily inside left grip. BB shells fit tight and slip in and out easily.

    Things I would have changed:

Have wooden grips if possible. Eliminate the safety - it's useless. You cannot have it on at half-cock to load shells, so what's the point?

    What others should know:

    Best BB Peacemaker replica ever!

Wish it was a bit louder. Would like six extra shell bodies to add to my holster.

    What others should know:

Very accurate for smooth bore. Worth every$$

    Things I liked:

Everything. This is my ultimate gun. The looks are great and it feels great in the hand - excellent balance. The gears and levers acts extremely smooth. The action is crisp and the accuracy is great due to both the long barrel and the single action. With this in hand and clicking the hammer I start hearing the familiar tune of the Sergio Leone movies.

    Things I would have changed:

Almost nothing. Only the most common complain that the hammer seems a bit raised in the resting position - making it seem like fake. But holding it in hand I can easily ignore it.

    What others should know:

The hammer has four positions, i.e. two half cock position. The first half cock position is for unloading and reloading. The next half cock position the cylinder is locked and cannot be rotated for loading/unloading. Also, as the BB are put at the back of the "bullet", you can open the loading gate and carefully put the BB in the "bullet" without taking it out. But doing that will me missing the great fun in unloading and loading the gun, which is half the charm of this gun. It makes a very relaxing experience.

    Things I liked:

When you get the box it is 'almost' as good as getting your first real Colt. The anticipation runs high, the box is hefty and then you open it. WOW! Escapes under your breath and your eyes go wide. I purchased the blued version and it is a beauty. I almost bought a Mattel Fanner Fifty like I had when I was a kid a while back and stopped, glad I did. The long wait is over. This SAA Colt Peacemaker is soooo close to the real deal it isn't funny. That unmistakable snick as the hammer pulls back. The legendary pointability and the prancing horse really put a smile on my face. The loading gate and cartridges are further icing on the cake. The grips look much better up close and personal than the justice done by the pictures. With engraving it would be a ringer for The Duke's pistols in The Shootist. It fits perfectly in my SAA 1873 drop holster, I need to practice mah draw pardner LOL.

    Things I would have changed:

If I could change anything it would be the safety, what in the world is it for other than to make corporate lawyers happy. Make faux wood stocks with the Colt emblem and the eagle black grips with emblem an option to purchase. Make more barrel options 4 5/8" & 7" barrels, birdshead grip sheriff's model....so many possibilities.

    What others should know:

Be prepared to be gobsmacked when you open this up. It is a stunner. It twirls and handles just like the real deal. It is perfect for cheap practice and a joy to shoot. The little pistol shoots as good as I can on any given day and is as accurate as you could hope for. It isn't a target gun, remember to 'point and shoot'. It has a smack of authority when the BB hits the target and there is plenty of shooting from a single CO2 cartridge. This is a slower speed shooter than most with the loading and unloading, but that just serves to prolong the enjoyment you'll get handling this fine little gun. My dad (he's 85) was so impressed he's ordered one to hang on his wall and my sister has ordered the nickel engraved version which won't be in her hands until Sept 2015, I look forward to seeing that one. If it's on backorder, get in line it'll be worth the wait. One of the most fun purchases I have made in a very long time. If you like westerns, cowboys and the American Old West get one.

    Things I would have changed:

Loading the cylinder gets to be a joke. Stiffer rotation every time.

    What others should know:

I got one in March and it's on it's way back to the maker. The cylinder will not rotate to load and it will not expel the co2 to fire. After only 3 co2 cylinders it's a wall hanger. Hope it can be repaired. As of now I'm stuck with a dud.

    Things I liked:

Fantastic. I have a real one and this is very close. Very fun to fire. Pretty accurate. It's actually kind of run loading it...just like the real thing. You will not be disappointed. I also really like how the wrench is integrated unlike all my other C02 guns were I have to carry a wrench to change our canisters.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish the hammer sat flush but that is a minor gripe. Grips are a little cheap but for the money it's OK. Mine has already develops a bit of a C02 leak so I'm not sure that is my fault or the gun but I'm trying to get it to seal better. Have only put a couple hundred rounds through it so that is a little disappointing.

    What others should know:

Loads of fun! C02 lasts a long time.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate at 5 meters for a smooth bore BB pistol. I get at least 90 good shots on one CO2 cartridge. The gun is a good replica and feels good in the hand.

    Things I would have changed:

Take the allen stub off the handle and include a proper sized allen wrench. I use my own wrench. I don't like using the handle when tightening down on a CO2 cartridge.

    What others should know:

I bought twelve extra bullets/shells for the gun for 5 groups of 18 shots each. This is not a rifled match pistol. Almost all of my shots end up inside of a 2 inch circle

REALISEM. A FRIEND LENT ME HIS COLT 45 BACK IN THE 70S, I PHOTOGRAPHED IT TOOK IT FULLY APART AND PHOTOD IT AGAIN IN A GRAPHIC EXPLODED VIEW. CANT DO THAT WITH THIS GUN BUT IT LOOKS AND FEELS and shoots LIKE THE REAL THHING PHOTO COMPARABLE D

    Things I would have changed:

GIVE THE GRIPS A LITTLE TEXTURE, AND OFF WHITE 4 EVEN MORE REALISM,, A NICE LEATHER HOLSTER WOULD B NICE 2

    Things I liked:

Fabulous. A really great adaptation of a Colt Single Action. I have several original SSA pistols and this is as close as you can get in an airgun. Nice feel, weight and trigger pull- this gun is solid. Original Colts have four clicks in the hammer- this one has only three-but it's still so much like a real SSA . Set up a BB trap in my garage and shoot at Ritz crackers at 25'--yippee!!!...works great.

    Things I would have changed:

nothing....it would be nice if the hammer didn't always look one quarter cocked, but the hammer rebounds and I am not sure there would be another way to do it.

    What others should know:

Never had a CO2 cartridge gun before, but the CO2 leaks out fairly quickly if you don't shoot it. Even put a tiny dab of silicon lubricant on the end of the cartridge and that didn't seem to make any difference. Still in all- lots of fun to shoot.

This gun is the most realistic gun of all the ones I own. Feels great in the hand. I also bought the nickel plated one and returned it they used the dull nickel plating instead of the bright nickel like the Dan Wesson has on it.

    Nothing

    Things I liked:

Everything, the fit ,finish, weight, operation and the price. Umarex has created a true work of art here especially for the price, including the blued version. I believe they have moved air guns into the category of fine collectables and I hope they have many more models of six shooters available in the future.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing...As far as looks go, everything that is distracting is there for a good reason, either function, legalities or cost of manufacturing and evidently pellets DO NOT seem to work well in revolvers...yet. The pellet engaging the rifling in the barrel would likely push the forcing cone and loose floating inner barrel off the cylinder seat and let CO2 escape reducing power.

    What others should know:

Since the inside barrel is moving in and out with the cylinder rotation it is loose and not really helping accuracy. It is what it is, however you "Might ?" be able to change the point of impact a little by sticking a plastic pen in the barrel and rotating it.
