    Things I liked:

Powerful, accurate, great scope and rail system. This is a fantastic gun for the price.

    Things I would have changed:

The first 5-10 breaks of the barrel are hard but really not a big deal. I love this gun, nothing really to change!

    What others should know:

    Buy it !!!

    Things I liked:

Wow, this rifle is a real value, smooth, quiet, and very accurate, I am not normally a springer fan for the ranges I regularly shoot, and had swore off ever getting another one, but had heard some good things on the new Nitro Piston guns, so I relented and bought one. This rifle before it was even broken in was shooting <1" groups @ 25 yards with .177 Crosman 7.4 gr. pointed hunting pellets @ 970-985 fps. and continues to get better after about 200 shots it's crowding 3/4", and the recoil is so mild it doesn't upset your view through the scope. I would recomend this rifle to anyone that has been less than impressed by past springers, I plan on also purchasing a .22 version too.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope, no AO, changed out the supplied 3-9x32 Center Point for a 4-16x40 AO MilDot Center Point that I already had.

    What others should know:

Shoots accurate with artillary hold or not, with the smooth Nitro Piston.

    Things I liked:

It has a synthetic stock, and feels like a solid rifle. I like the piston technology because it does make for a quiet shooting pellet rifle. My previous experience is with a spring powered winchester pellet rifle that eventually broke on me that was loud, but accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Accuracy, I can't emphasize this enough. Overall design with how it cocks. Personally I expect a trigger to not be so great on a product in this price range, but it is pretty terrible to be blunt.

    What others should know:

I wanted to break this rifle in to get the shot grouping tighter, so I reached about the 200 shot mark, and I experienced a defect. The bracket that connects the barrel and spring, basically what I would call the hinge (for lack of a better term, I'm not an air rifle expert by any means) that allows you to cock the piston became bent and cracked the stock. After that I couldn't use it. I shipped it back on my own dime via FedEx. Huge mistake since it cost me $100 because it was pellet rifle. I got the second one, and I just can't get this thing to be somewhat consistent at 15-20 yards. I'm not impressed by this rifle at all. I'm pretty sure the same defect is about to happen to me since that same hinge is bent slightly. It's only a matter of time, so I'm looking for a new pellet rifle. Buy definitely beware...

    Things I liked:

Pretty much everything. Many reviewers don't like the included scope, but I have had no problems keeping it zeroed. My technique on the other hand leaves much to be desired and is definitely affecting my groups. I suspect this is what other reviewers are blaming on their scopes. I have experimented quite a bit with the artillery hold versus traditional holds and am still at an impasse as to which works better for me. Quite frankly fundamentals such as trigger squeeze and breath control seem to make as much of a difference in accuracy and grouping as does the hold, at least in my personal experience with this gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing. I like everything about this weapon.

    What others should know:

This is a very solid gun overall. As my first pellet gun in 10 years coming off of a Daisy multi-pump, I was shocked at the power this thing has. It will go through 1/2" birch plywood in a heartbeat! This is certainly not a toy for younger/immature shooters.

    Things I liked:

The price point and the power that this rifle delivers along with the gas piston technology are what attracted me to this product.

    Things I would have changed:

It is well understood that this rifle has a long and coarse trigger action that requires some concentration when target shooting. There options available to the customer that I would recommend if you are considering purchasing this airgun.

    What others should know:

I returned the .177 version of this rifle after not getting a consistent grouping on my shots. I tried 6 different pellet types and holds, after 500 rounds I exchanged for a .22 caliber. I asked for the 10 for $10 on the second rifle and I have not been disappointed. Pyramid treated me fairly on the exchange. The current rifle groups and functions much better. I have upgraded the trigger and now find myself happy with this product.

    Things I liked:

I like the solid and robust feel of the rifle. Easily zeroed it out at 25 Yards as the manual recommends. Good rifle for the purchase price including 3-9 Zoom scope. I ordered the 22 caliber, good knock down power, took out some game with no problems

    Things I would have changed:

Like other reviews, the trigger is a problem. I had to pull the trigger all the way to the back of the trigger guard before the rifle discharged. That can throw off your aim, and sometimes I run out of breath waiting for the rifle to discharge when pulling the trigger, and have to restart my breathing and aim again. Also a little on the heavy side; but its still a good air rifle compared to other more expensive brands with similar performance.

    What others should know:

Watched several Youtube videos on the trigger fix. Found a fix using a simple washer, but you have to take out the trigger tension spring to use the washer. I used a small brass washer, nipped it and filed it to shape the washer to match the trigger contour. Did not have to take out the trigger tension spring mechanism. I tried it the first time and trigger went off too soon, so filed the washer down a little bit more, now the rifle fires at half of the trigger pull from before, perfect for me now. If you are not mechanically inclined, then buy a replacement trigger and install it, lots of Youtube video shows how to replace the trigger or take it to the nearest air rifle dealer. We don't have dealers here in the South Pacific so you learn to improvise

I like the look of the gun, it is an attractive weapon. Although i will never use it for hunting purposes, it is good for that. The great thing about the .22 caliber is that you get more hit force witout losing that much velocity. Perfect long range shooter. Well done again crosman!

    Things I liked:

Excellent value for the money. Great way to get into the nitro piston. The rifle looks good, I got the black stock and it's durable. A bit heavy but I like that. Quiet. About a hundred rounds fired through it thus far and accuracy seems okay, using Crosman Premiers and some wadcutters. Scope seems useable.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger pull is too long, can I adjust it? Handbook doesn't address that. Add some iron sights, incredible that so many guns don't have them, doesn't make sense. Smooth down the opening at the rear of the trigger guard during manufacturing, sharp edges will grab your middle finger and cut it after a few rounds. Why can't this gun be made in America? I'd pay a bit more for quality.

    What others should know:

Great value, most inexpensive way to get a nitro piston rifle that I've found. Mine is the .22 version, shoots hard, good range, very satisfactory overall. Easy cocking. I buy from Pyramyd Air in large measure because of the excellent service I receive. If you have a problem, let them know and they'll take care of it.

    Things I liked:

For the price of this air rifle I am pleased with it's fit and finish. I like the gas piston; it deliver smooth cocking action, a quiet report that will not ofend or alert most neighbors, and delivers good power. Most user will find the scope acceptable. I really like the scope mount system that has elimanted creeping of scope adjustment.

    Things I would have changed:

Much has been written regarding the trigger action and I would agree that it is not ideal. There are fixes available (GRT III) that are not expensive and worth while based on the reviews.

    What others should know:

I get the most accuracy with heavier pellets such as the Crosman Ultra-magnum (10.5gr). This rifle seems sensative to your hold, you will need to experiment here with artillary verses other methods. I have struggled to get consistent grouping at 50 ft. I switched in a leappers scope that gave improvement. Cleaning the bore (every 200 rds)has helped also. I am struggling with keeping this gun or exchanging it for the Benjamin Trail NP. I manage a feedyard and we have pests that contaminate our feeds. I want to use the rifle to elimnate some of these critters. I currently miss as often as I hit with the crosman. I have a Beeman R7 that is more acurate but lacks the power of this rifle. Which is the reason for the recent purchase. Maybe a trigger upgrade is all that I need to make tis package work.

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

I've only had my .22-caliber Dusk for a week-and-a-half, but so far I love everything but the trigger. and even that isn't all that bad. So many reviewers talk about "right out of the box" inaccuracy; "break-in time"; being so long; "dieseling and loud report prior to, and during break-in. CLEAN THE BORE before shooting the gun! and you'll find that all of the above will be reduced to almost zero. After a thorough bore cleaning, it took me three shots with H&N Field Target Trophy's, 14.66 gr. domes, to zero the scope, and three more shots to obliterate a dime-size bulls-eye at 60-feet. I've been shooting 1" hickory nuts off the tree I hung the target on, from my back door all week, and missing darned few. Love the Picatiny Rail scope mount, and the way the cross-bolts lock into the rail slots. I defy the scope to move.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger definitely leaves some to be desired if you wanna drive tacks, but making modifications—without spending nearly 40-bucks for a golden trigger is a no-brainer, if you have modest mechanical skills, no matter what the "experts" and snobs say. The scope is perfectly fine for the average plinker and fun-shooter, but I am going to upgrade to one with AO adjustment so I will have range-finding capability for hunting.

    What others should know:

I read, but seldom pay any attention to overly negative reviews on anything, considering most to be verification of the saying: "It's usually best to remain silent, and have people think you are stupid, rather than speak up and remove all doubt." I've never written a review before, but after having read hundreds concerning this rifle, after reading the couple of overly derogatory comments on this site, then receiving mine, I just couldn't withhold. The bore must be cleaned "right out of the box". There was (preservative, I guess) the worst crap I've ever seen in a rifle bore, including the cosmolene my M-1 Garand had been packed in since 1945, when I cleaned it in 1958. It took me a couple of hours and many, many patches before one came out clean. Don't listen to one or two nay-sayers when hundreds of others are singing praises. C'mon. Anyone who claims to have paid over $200. for a gun that sells for $150., and less — wel-l-l-l, doesn't that tell you something/ This is a great gun for the average shooter, and a great platform piece for anyone wanting to tweak himself a tack-driver at a very modest price. I recommend it to anyone, except to those who suffer from "Mine Is Bigger Than Yours Syndrome" and simply must have Calvin Kline instead of Fruit of the Loom. They wouldn't be happy if the Dusk put every shot in the same hole, and only cost twenty-bucks.

    Things I liked:

i got this gun today and at first glance it was kind of dirty, but that's no big deal. i mounted the scope it came with and went to go "break it in". first 20-30 shots were VERY loud, cocking was rough and trigger pull was horrible. but after that it got really quiet, very accurate and cocking got easier. a little trigger adjustment and i could not have been happier. this gun is a little heavy but not so much that you cannot enjoy it. the stock is solid and and shots are great. i did find a small piece of plastic floating around inside the stock, but that was no big deal. overall the gun is a great buy and once broken in it will get quarter inch groups with the right food.

    Things I would have changed:

the only compliant i have is the scope. the zoom is nice, the adjustment are iffy but what it really needs in AO. after 30 yards the scope wont focus at all, and that's is a big downer since this gun can do great things at must greater ranges even with the .177 pellets.

    What others should know:

every gun has its own personality and likes and dislikes when it comes to ammo. but i found that my gun shoots fantastic with beeman pointed pellets. also, when you buy this gun, look for a new scope right away, because this one doesn't do it any justice.

the accuracy that this gun can provide is amazing it likes all types of pellets (Crosman premier ultra magnums are my favorite) the built in weaver rail is an amazing addition to this gun ive not had my scope slide at all i also liked how smooth it was and still is with that nitro piston

    Things I would have changed:

first of all the scope is not the best they should give you a better one and raise the price a little more (mine could not hold zero after about 90 shots) then the trigger is that signature crosman trigger that honestly sucks alot

    What others should know:

ive had this gun for about 9 months and have shot over 2000 pellets through it and it still works like new (if you do the cleaning process every once in awhile) i got a utg 4-16x44 ao swat accushot scope on it and i can get .5 inch groups at 50 yards great gun every one should have it

    Things I would have changed:

I don't care for the gas spring. I am more interested in pellet speed.

    What others should know:

The pellet speed of the gun I received was very disappointing.I had a 10for10 service done and had a muzzle vol. of less than 750 fps. I know the products are rated with lead free pellets but this was a great appointment. Also when changing scopes to a better scope I found out the gun had 10" at 30yds droop. The stock scope was fine but the new scope need an adapter that wont fit the scope rail. If muzzle vol. dose not matter it will be a good package. For me it mattered.

    Things I liked:

I love this gun. It comes at a nice price point. It feels sturdy and and well built. I can easily hit coke cans reliably from about 45 yards off a balcony. At about 100 yards I still have about a 1' grouping! The gun is quiet and and has a nice recoil. It lets you know you have fired without messing up accuracy. The scope that comes with the gun is eceptional. This gun has shot through a 55 gallon drum and through both sides of a paint can.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun is not weighted very well. I have trouble keeping it steady without a rest. It also takes a while to break in.

    What others should know:

A great small game hunter/can killer. Lots of fun for the inexperianced recreational shooter as I am

    Things I liked:

Well made and heavy gas spring magnum rifle. Pic Rail seems to solve the problem of scope creep on a magnum springer. Nice Crosman package with the Centerpoint laser and spotlight. Generally, well fitted parts with only a few plastic molding flashings to be removed.

    Things I would have changed:

Manufacturer should add a slight bit of champher to the breech. Pellet insertion is a bit tight using Crosman Premier Hollow Points. I also removed lots of debris and rust at the first thorough barrel scrubbing. The above mentioned pellet insertion was improved by that, but the barrel comes from China with lots of crud in it. The primary issue for improvement is the oft-mentioned trigger issue. An upgrade trigger package would be a welcome issue from Crosman. Most commentators opt for a GTIII replacement. The trigger pull is long and coarse, and does not seem to improve with use. After the year's warrantee is over, I'll replace the trigger.

    What others should know:

This is a very hard-hitting pest eliminator. It lacks the smoothness of my RWS M-36, but, to be fair, it is about a third, or so, of the cost! This does demonstrate that the Chinese industry has the capability to do very good work. I am pleased with this piece. I also expect that some neighborhood racoons will be permanently displeased with it when we meet...

    Things I would have changed:

the gun i got the box had been damaged with a hole in the side and looked like it had been stapled back closed. the stock had some ruff edges where the screws go but didn't think any thing of it till after almost 400 rounds the guns accuracy was still way off that i noticed that the barrel was loose and shifting side to side i took apart and tightened the screw and now wow very accurate and i love this gun now i guess just make sure all screws are tight and you should be good to go

    What others should know:

i think i got an open box returned product this time and would rather the box not been opened and in conditioned the gun was in.
