Just like the one I had as a boy but with an adult-sized stock.
Things I would have changed:Tap it for a scope or red dot mounts.
What others should know:It's really fun to shoot. I use frangible BBs for backyard shooting.

Full size, additional weight over standard model, high capacity
Things I would have changed:Add a bit more length to the stock and barrel, with a little more weight. After all, it is for an "Adult". The velocity with Daisy, Copperhead and Hornady are short of what it advertised by a fair bit. The Excite low-ricochet BB's you can just forget about. There is virtually no accuracy. At 10 meters you are luck to hit a soda can even using a rest with a careful trigger pull.
What others should know:This is a novelty and may one day be collectable since the Adult model is not offered in volume. I wanted to practice sight picture and trigger squeeze in a backyard or garage setting. This isn't the rifle for that. The groups are so big and inconsistent it is impossible to know if you are doing something wrong or not. Two shots nearby and one over there...two more close together somewhere else and the next one who-knows-where.

I have the smaller one and enjoy it a lot. This totally adds to the fun. Takes me back many years. Cheap to shoot and holds lots of BBs.

Great looking BB gun. I had one as a kid,back in the 50's. Bought the 50th anniversary model for one of my sons. He is 33 years old now. Now this one is a collector piece along with my new youth sized one. These are mine.

What others should know:Keep your Daisy airguns to pass down to the kids. My youngest son ,is 16 now. He has a Winchester lever action 1894 BB gun I got for him when he was 3 years old.

All metal and wood. Has a good feel and easy cocking. Was a great idea to make a large version for us baby boomers

What others should know:When I took it out of the box, I felt like I was 10 years old again but then realized I was now 72. I got my first Red Ryder for X Mass when I was 10 from my Uncle who was an avid hunter, My mother would not buy me one cause she feared I would shoot my eye out. My first kill was a bird and I never told my mother cause she would have killed me.

I love the "adult" sizing! Always liked using these airguns, finally have one that shoulders nicely.

They should give Chief AJ some credit. He has promoted adult sized Red Ryder stocks for years.
Things I would have changed:Why double the price don another inch and a half of stock? But, what the heck, buy one anyway!
What others should know:Nothing is a better stress reliever than unleashing some BBs on an unsuspecting can. Buy one and have fun. Accuracy is poor but if you can not hit the can, get a bigger can!
