The whole gun! This rifle takes me back to my child hood. I plan to buy a few more for my friends.

I'd make it a little more powerfull like 400, 450fps and higher quality. Maybe a deluxe edition with stainless or even higher end would. I'd buy one.

So much fun at BBQs and great to give as a gift.

Fun to shoot. Takes me back to another time. I shoot a long way for a BB gun 45 ft., into a 4x4 inch box. Hits box every time, nickel size dot 15%. Unless you shoot a BB gun you don't know but this is good at 45 ft.

Safety is too safe. Jumps a little on its on and sticks. Sad to say I know doing away with it will not work for mfg. lawyers. You can do it yourself.

Great little fun gun. I am 6 ft. it fits me ok. Shooting air guns will help you with all shooting. Your hold, quicken sight picture, trigger work ( no matter good or bad trigger on the air gun ) you learn to deal with what you have. I can't go to the range every day but I do shoot every day. 2,000$ or BB air gun, shoot every day.

Purchased for the father of a new G Grandson coming in Nov., also purchased the regular model for the new arrival. This goes with the rifles his older brother and sister as well as two cousins all have.\ I'm a believer in start them early - NO excuse for not knowing what a rifle or any weapon is from the first day any child can talk. They are little sponges waiting to be filled with information. These rifles are the best way to start.

Great back yard rifle for spending time with the grand kids. Shooting daisy clay targets and soda cans, they just cant get enough of it. Shipping was fast and the packaging was great, double boxed which was a life saver. Only issue was the retards from Fed Ex left it out in the drive way during a rain storm when our entire front deck is covered. Guess they couldn't be bothered to walk 20 more feet.That said I surely cannot ding up Pyramyd Air for the losers that Fed Ex employs. Keep the shooting to 25 feet and it is fairly accurate for plinking. Grand son love that my rifle looks like his.

I would prefer they use UPS , They are way More professional than FedEx.

As a fellow who spent his young life roaming the hills above his home carrying his trusty Red Ryder BB gun and having it shrink as the years rolled by. I along with my companions were forced to invest hard earned money to buy a larger gun such as a Defender. The Defender suited the larger teenaged body. Now I have in my possession an adult sized Red Ryder BB gun. It's exactly what I wanted sixty five years ago. Now alas civilization has caught up with us living out here in the country. No clear areas to roam. No more walking, with my pals, through the neighborhood to climb up into the hills. Adults with 'Rifles', can the Cops be far behind? As an eighty year old man I think just the idea of walking back into my boyhood would require an Ambulance trailing behind. It a beautiful rifle and I love having it...Bill

I wouldn't CHANGE anything. Maybe a little stronger.

I like having a wood stock rather than plastic. I like having the steel parts they did provide.

Replace plastic parts with steel parts. Especially the steel lever action and and steel trigger rather than plastic.

Metal outer barrel, real wood stock, and handguard.

Change the plastic trigger to a metal one. Also, the screw located in the middle of the handguard feels uncomfortable.

The gun fits and adult . Easy to load and shoot. Fit and finish are good and it seems well made. Lots of fun to shoot like it is .

Would like to see a little better trigger in it. I know its still new but its shooting well below the rated 350 feet per second its rated for . Gun seems a little weak to me. Like to see a stronger springs from the factory. Make it a a can puncher.

I can't leave anything alone so I built mine with aftermarket parts. Better spring, seamless shot tube. bigger air tube. It shoots farther, flatter and takes the cans completely off the boards now. Initial 21fps increase and should get better as it breaks in. Its a blast and its cheap to shoot . There are lots of ways to upgrade your Red Ryder. A fiber optic front sight is an inexpensive, improvement to the basic gun. You can get all kinds of goodies if you want to spend more money. Scope mounts, performance springs, enlarged air tubes , seamless shot tubes. If you have the time and the money, you can make your rifle shoot faster and more accurately. All the information is out there on the internet and the parts are on Ebay. Enjoy.

I enjoy the authenticity of the gun. I have yet to fire it.

Comes well packed in a cardboard box and arrives in fine shape.

Purchased as a Christmas gift for grandson for Christmas. No opened yet but I'm sure he will enjoy this rifle.

Shot a 1-inch group right out of the box from 30 feet with Daisy Precision Max BBs. Getting accuracy like this isn't always the case with a new Red Ryder - I am lucky. I like the adult size stock with the curved notch to fit into my shoulder - no slippage! The Youth Red Ryder stock is straight and slips inside the shoulder. The stock is wider than the standard Red Ryder and feels better in my hand when pulling the trigger. This is a well-made, high quality BB rifle.

Put in the new Fiber Optic front sight ( I had to paint the standard front sight fluorescent orange to aim clearly). Have the wood furniture be higher quality wood like walnut and finish it with high-gloss Tru-Oil or similar. I get way too many misfires from this BB gun - very annoying. Perhaps it needs a more powerful magnet to put the BB in place?

I have purchased several (15 +) Red Ryders over the last 5 years. They all vary in accuracy because of the differences in shot tubes. You cannot count on accuracy like I got with this one. I suspect most adults will appreciate the feel of shooting with this adult size Red Ryder. This is a well-made, high quality BB rifle. Pyramyd Air has the best price I have seen for this new adult version of the Red Ryder.
