The Legends PO 8 has become one of my favorite gun. The look, the feel are very realistic. It is one of the most accurate shooting guns I have. I have had success with a variety of steel BBs , and dont have to feed it premium Bbs for accuracy. The blowback action is truly realistic.

From what I have been able to research, the Legends PO 8 is a nice replica of the 1941 Black Widow. The original gun was only manufactured from 1941 to 1942. It was the last of the Lugers made by Mauser. The 42 on the toggle was the manufacturing code for Mauser in 1941 and changed to byf in 1942. The manufacture code should be on the other side of the toggle to be historically correct. The ac is the manufacturer code for Walther and is irrelevant. The black widow with its black bakeolite grips are rare and collectors will pay a premium for one. So keep the black plastic grips and have a nice replica of a hard to find piece of history.

This gun seems to be built with quality materials, has a good heft to it, and is quite fun to shoot.

There are several design flaws with this gun: (1) The gun is prone to jamming. If the toggle doesn't cycle, it won't shoot. Manually pulling the toggle back can get you into trouble, as I found out. This will cycle another BB into the mechanism, even though there is already one in there. I had a bad session where the blowback wasn't working well (bad co2?) and was manually cocking it. This left numerous BBs floating around in the inner works, which caused the gun to operate very poorly. I learned that if you need to manually cock it, you need to first remove the magazine and shake out the BB already loaded. (2) the magazine is awful. I don't know why they couldn't use the same magazine as the non-blowback version. You have to hold the spring back while dropping the BBs in the tiny hole one by one. Definitely need a speed loader here. (3) the blowback is so pronounced, it obliterates the view of the target, so I can't see where the BBs go. (4) The blowback eats CO2 like crazy.

The accuracy of this gun is terrible, as expected from a smooth-bore short-barreled BB gun. This makes it fit for short-range plinking and that's about it. Frankly, neither this gun nor the non-blowback version lived up to their promise. The non-blowback version is perfect except for the miserable trigger pull. The blowback version solves that problem but introduces a bunch more new issues, as noted above.

Hello again, well, it's as real as it gets. Going on almost a month now, I'll stand by what my earlier post said! It's a great ,fun peice of history. Oil everything that moves, or rubs, I've got no complaints!. Fifteen to twenty feet the sites are on the mark!. HEY!!! It's a BB gun! Keep in mind what it is Close range fun, the blow back is a real kick! Just cool, n lots of fun

If you have to have, go online and get some wood grips if it makes ya feel better, won't change how it shoots. Mines ,,,I dare say perfect, but darn I can't think of anything, I'd change, for the money, for what it is ? If it ain't broke don't fix it!... Be safe and enjoy it!!...

Just about everything ! The weight is so realistic. The appearance is just awesome. It is easy to load Co2 and ammo. I love the blowback action !

Rifling in the barrel might have helped the accuracy, but I am sure that would cause a price increase.

Great buy. I have no regrets at all. This is definitely becoming my favorite pistol to shoot.

I broke the gun within the first twenty minutes, I cocked the gun, then I tried to release the action, it would not return to its original position. I glanced at the frame and notice the semi/full positioning lever as I gently pulled out on it popped out, this is where I ran into trouble --- there was a little plastic pin that broke off... Now the gun might have performed perfectly if I didn't get in a hurry! If you know where I turn it in to be repaired, I would love to have it operational

It's my birthday, so a present to me is a po8 blow back. Gawd if we'd had these ,way,,, back in the day, hahaha. The first I do with my umarex guns, if it moves oil it up Real good!!, Remember your dealing with pot metal, not gun steel! I've used part of a CO2 n have over 30 shots n going Strong.sites are dead on! 15, 20,25,. And 30 feet shooting.Hey this isn't a long-range target rifle, a handgun co2bb. What a kick ,, so far,. So good. Be safe have fun!

If I could pick it apart I would have, it is what it is , oil it up good, lots ! Go n enjoy it ,I am! Not noisy, smooth action,(oil!). For what it is n I paid for it I've got NO! complaints!!. Treat it with respect, like any tool. Enjoy!

Good weight and feel. Solid built construction. Fun to shoot. I also like the loading hole at the bottom front of the mag to load BBs

Not sure what I would change. Perhaps a good speed loader for the BBS would be nice

Good fun

Extremely detailed and realistic pistol. The build quality is excellent, and the action functions smoothly. I am impressed by the fact that you can field strip the pistol, although my instruction booklet didn't mention that. It was easy to figure out how to operate the take down lever, but you should be careful if you remove the lever all the way, because there is a very small spring and plunger in the internal part of the lever, which may fall out, and would be easy to lose. The pistol is as accurate as you can expect from a short, non-rifled barrel.

The only thing that I think could be improved would be to offer faux wood grips, or even a real wood upgrade.

Very cool pistol. Texted a photo to a friend, and he thought it was the real thing. If you want a Luger, but don't want to shell out a couple grand for a mint original, this is the perfect substitute.

Worked fine for the first few shots (maybe 5, 6)... Then, the toggle stopped cycling. A couple more shots, and the whole thing was dead! I wasted several more CO2 cylinders trying to see if I could revive it. Nothing worked, and it's now a rather expensive paper-weight.

This pistol fits my large hand and my gir friends small hand. It is very well put together. It functions very smoothly. The finish looks great and seems tough. The magazine loading spring has an easy grip button that makes loading very easy. It shoots accurately.

Its fun to shoot. The blow back is very snappy so feels good.

This gun is a lot of fun to shoot. The weight, the look and the blowback toggle action all adds significantly to its authenticity and realism to its real life counterpart.

Like most pistols, the sites are fixed and non-adjustable. That's fine if the bb would actually go where you're aiming. But for most of my pistols including this one, that's just simply not the case. My particular luger shoots a bit low so it would have been nice to have been able to slightly adjust my sight for elevation.

Be sure to stock up on CO2. This luger is a glutton for it.

This pistol is so much fun to shoot!!! A really well made quality gun i absolutely love it. And when it comes to customer service pyramid air is second to none. Thanks pyramid air already ordered a few more items
