    Things I liked:

I loved the heft of this pistol! The full auto feature was also a lot of fun, but of course not as accurate. The all-metal construction was a real plus. The mechanicals were nice - solid clicks and blowback, positive engagement of the rear sights.

    Things I would have changed:

The pistol is a bit of a CO2 hog. I don't know what could be done about that. A thicker lanyard ring would be nice, and a locking bolt would be awesome!

    What others should know:

Save your money and do the weathering/wear details yourself if you like that look. I found it easy to do with some 400 grit wet & dry sandpaper and a Mr. Clean sponge. just go slow and wipe down frequently to make sure you are not taking off too much finish. This pistol is a nice addition to any collection, and it's fun to shoot!

    Things I liked:

This thing is just much fun. Crazy stupid fast cyclic rate!

    Things I would have changed:

    Larger magazine capacity

    What others should know:

Count on getting one mag per CO2 cartridge

    Things I liked:

The semi/auto selector, as well as the safety lever and magazine release, are easily operated by a right-handed shooter, and it's a hoot to blast away when you switch to rock'n'roll. Just keep your bursts short, so you'll know when you're out of BBs, because you won't be able to keep count. You can get as many as three reloads from a single cartridge if you don't waste too much CO2. The fake-wood grips look great and have a really solid feel.

    Things I would have changed:

The Legends M712 Mauser replica has a bolt that WILL NOT lock back under any circumstances. This means that there is no indication when the magazine is empty. Many shooters won't mind, except in full-auto mode; when you empty the magazine (which takes less than a second-and-a-half; cyclic rate is fantastic) you'll continue emptying your CO2 cartridge as much as you want. The safety lever, which blocks the trigger from releasing the hammer, only moves through its full travel when the hammer is cocked. It still seems to work when moved as far as it can be BEFORE cocking the hammer, but I wouldn't trust it. And I'm not the only owner who's found that the M712 shoots so high the truly authentic sight elevation adjustment is of no use.

    What others should know:

Like the original, this is a big, heavy gun, which means that unlike the original, there is little "recoil feel" and it's quite controllable in full-auto mode. If you don't like the famous "Broomstick Mauser," this replica is everything you never liked about it and more; balance is terrible and grip is doubtful. But if you always wanted one or have to have it for your collection, this one brings it all to you. Especially since there really was an M712 version, with selectable automatic fire and removable box magazines.

    Things I liked:

Everything. This pistol is bang for your buck, grip feels awesome, not cheap plastic, great trigger, proper heft.

    Things I would have changed:

Make the barrel shroud one piece instead of the grub screw holding it.

    What others should know:

To avoid loose barrel, just use blue loctite on the grub screw holding the barrel shroud onto the gun when you get it and let it properly dry for 24hours. Then you will not have any issue. This part should have had loctite from the factory, especially because the vibrations will shake it loose which is what happens. This is common practice in RC hobby to use blue loctite for metal on metal fastenings. Best to do this when the gun is new before any slop occurs from consistent loosening and vibration. Aside from that, this pistol is an amazing addition to my collection and a ton of fun to shoot, its just over too quick each time!

    Things I would have changed:

barrel gets loose, 2 co2 power plant lasts longer real wood handle butt stock has slide track, solid barrel

    What others should know:

best full auto pistol ever made

all metal except the grips, seems to be of very good quality

    Things I would have changed:

have the bolt stay open after last shot so you would not waste CO2.

    What others should know:

I bought one of the Chinese Buttstock/holsters off Ebay and with a bit of careful filing on the iron mount of the buttstock I made it fit the slot in the pistol and now it is very controllable on full auto. It will really eat up a aluminum soda can at 30 feet. The guys at the gun club had a ball shooting up pop cans. it was the most popular pistol of the day.

    The looks of the gun

    Things I would have changed:

Make the gun where it will last more than a few months.

    What others should know:

I purchased this gun from Pyramyrd over a year ago and it has been nothing but trouble after the 90 days expired. Barrel fell off and got stepped on; the magazine leaks ; the end screw broke when I tried to tighten it enough to stop leaking. I have been shooting air guns for over 55 years and I know pore quality when I see it. Everyone has there own experiences and opinion and I hate giving a bad report but it is what it is.

all metal, authentic detail, shoots accurate in semi auto at 18 feet will eat up co.2 fast in full auto, you will only get 2 clips of 18 bbs from 1 co.2 from a fun to shoot standpoint you can not beat it.

    Things I would have changed:

I realize that with the blowback feature it will use more co.2 but I would like to see it be a little more co.2 friendly add real wood grips, or make them available .

    What others should know:

if your looking for a very cool replica this is for you. on full auto you will be changing co.2 offten

    Things I liked:

This thing is a blast. Pardon the pun. I do not normally have any interest in CO2 powered arms as I am an avid firearms collector. That being said, I would recommend this item to anyone who wishes to pink in their backyard without being visited buy five-oh. Not only is the cyclic rate mind blowing, but this is fairly accurate for this type of shooter.

    Things I would have changed:

I wish I could find a holster for this as the reproduction C-96 holsters will not work.

    What others should know:

Buy lots of CO2 cartridges. You will go through them quickly. All of your friends will want one.

    Things I liked:

Due to the timing of the year, I have been unable to shoot the gun yet. Far too cold in New England to fire a CO2 gun yet. So it is just sitting in a closet waiting for Spring. The item seems very well constructed. All metal fabrication. I did notice that the "barrel" shroud was a bit loose, as others have mentioned. A bit of blue locktite on the tiny set screw seems to have solved it.

    Things I would have changed:

I deal almost exclusively with Pyramyd Air, for my air gun needs, for good reason. Here is an example. I ordered this gun with the 10 for $10 test program. However when the gun arrived I noticed that whoever tested the gun left a somewhat filled CO2 cartridge in it. Not good. I called and received a replacement component right away. It is not recommended to leave a CO2 in this gun.

    What others should know:

Nothing yet. I will give an update to this review once the weather warms up and I can actually begin "having some fun" with it.

    Things I liked:

This is a well made gun. Even the handle feels great! (I buy replica guns as a collector, rather than a shooter, so I cant rate the Accuracy). It has a nice heavy-metal look and feel... because it IS METAL! And to own a fully automatic air gun is just awesome! If you are a collector AND a shooter, you just might want to buy 2 of this gun. IT'S THAT GOOD!

    Things I would have changed:

For the money... it's great just the way it is. If it had actual WOOD GRIPS it would be perfect! But It would cost way more if it had actual wood grips. So... I have no complaints just the way it is.

    What others should know:

This gun has a video about it and it would be well worth your time to watch it (Paul Capello rated it). And as you will see... you better buy a large box of CO2 because you just won't want to put it down, when using the fully automatic mode.

    Things I liked:

Excellent fun shooter. Make no mistake in thinking it's for anything serious. It definitely isn't. What it is, is plain unadulterated fun for plinking. I made a couple of quick loaders out of soda straw which I slit down the side and taped tighter at one end than the other. Easy to scoop up eighteen BB's from my palm and they stay put until I push a section of bamboo skewer through to load the magazine. On a warmish day I get about three magazine loads from a CO2 cartridge.

    Things I would have changed:

Can't think of anything except that it will continue to cycle, loaded or not, until you release the trigger or the CO2 freezes things. Keep count of your shots.

    What others should know:

A real hoot to shoot. Can't wait until my grandson gets a whack at this one. He's going to have fun with it.

    Things I liked:

It's fun to shoot and feels like a real gun. It is time consuming to load and you get 2, maybe 3. bursts from one CO2 cartridge. If anyone buys this be sure to bring along a couple of boxes of cartridges every time you shoot it. My three grandsons wore me out loading it and changing the CO2 cartridges! A very good value for the money though. It WILL eat up and pumpkin left over from Halloween.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing, it's a fun gun.

    Things I liked:

Look, weight, full auto action. This was historically a very unorthodox design, and not known to handle well. This is the same way. It's a quirky gun and Umarex captured it perfectly. The rate of fire is insane. It's a BB hose. You will empty the mag in under a second.

    Things I would have changed:

Just like the real gun, there is no slide lock. On the real gun, that's fine- load a new mag, pull the charging handle, and you're good to go. On this however, since there is still CO2 even if no BBs, it will keep shooting. I don't like that, but I suppose it would be difficult to change. I like my Beretta 92A1 that locks the slide back after the final BB- which is how most modern pistols work.

    What others should know:

I bought a chinese holster off ebay, but it doesn't fit very well. I am thinking of buying one of the cheap butstock/holsters as well. Also, if you plan on using this for role/cosplay/re-enactment, be aware the M712 has a little understood past. Only a few thousand made it to the German army and exactly who got them is not quite clear. Wehrmacht, Waffen SS, and supposedly motorcycle drivers and the kriegsmarine infantry were given them. I could find very little info or pictures, so it probably would be the wrong weapon for most uniforms.

    What others should know:

This piece eats co2 more than a blue whale eats plankton (by the ton)but a lot of fun . accuracy is poor but I really didn't buy it for that .when shooting in full auto shoot in short bursts your co2 will last longer .
