    Things I liked:

Balance is great for either tri-pod and standing shooting, and the weight is great. Hits like a cannon. The scope is great, but I didn't touch it until I had put around 75 rounds through it in my basement. After that I drew a time size area inside of a quarter, and at 35' wiped out the dime size area with 10 shots. As I had tried several cheaper rifles, sent them all back, this USA MADE REMINGTON, is worth the money.

    Things I would have changed:

If you order the NPSS, order a GRB trigger form charliedatuna.com at the same time, as you will not like the factory trigger. And charlie does not take credit cards, only money orders, and won't ship the trigger until the money order arrives.

    What others should know:

I settled on H&N 8.64 grain domed pellets. Sighted it in at 100', went to 125', than to 150', with only scope changes, not elevation or windage changes, (with a 15 mph crosswind. When I went to 175' had to raise the elevation 6 clicks, and the same was for 200', raised the elevation 6 clicks, no windage changes from 100' to 200', only scope adjustments. At 200', I was in a 2" bulls eye 80%. Best Pettlet rifle on the market, for the price.

    Things I liked:

I really liked the balance of this weapon, the weight and the scope is really assume. I had originally purchased a Crosman Nitro Venom Dusk, but when I took it out of the box and broke the barrel it hit the composite on both sides, and got worse to the point pieces started breaking off, than the linkage bent and you couldn't even break the barrel. By this time I was really frustrated, as I had tried several different pellet rifels. So I said Wendy get me something that will work. She highly recommended the NPSS Remington, and the rest was history. And the fact that it was American made ment a lot to me. I originally thought it was a little spendy, but gave it a shot, it is the finest pellet rifle I have ever owned.

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing that needs to be changed, and this is the one problem most manufactures have with the break barrel rifles is the hard pull jumpy trigger. So I got in touch with charliedatuna.com, purchased a GRB trigger, and what a different it made.

    What others should know:

I have been experiencing with different types and grains of pellets, and have found the magic one. H&N 8.64 grain domed pellets. I tried hollow point pellets, 10.50 grain domed crosman, (to heavy past 140'). So this morning I went out with the 8.64 grain H&N's. Sited it in at 100', than went to 125'. than went to 150', with absoulty no elevation or windage adjustment. When I went to 175' I had to raise it 6 clicks, grouped pellets in a 2" bulls eye, went to 200', raised it 6 more clicks, and put 9 out of 10 pellets in the 2" area. And during the time I was shooting I had a 15 MPH cross wind coming from the east, (right to left), and never had to do any windage adjustment at all. To say the least I was stunned. I have since bought one for a 76 year old friend of mine who contracted West Nile in 2006, and he can break the barrel sitting down. I shot around 75 to 100 pellets in my basement before I even touched the scope. When I got it adjusted at around 35', I drew a dime inside of a quarter, and took the entire dime out with 10 shots. Now that I have it, I would actually pay more for it, Best (American made break barrel pellet gun you can buy). Give it a try and you will be totally happy.

    Excellant feel and power.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger

    What others should know:

I bought mine back at the end of Feburary 2010 and posted a review in March. Since then I've shot maybe 1000 rounds and have thought that the trigger was alittle rough for my liking with a pull around 4 or 5 pounds. There is a fix people! Goggle "CharlieDa Tuna" and you will fine his CBR trigger for this rifle is super sweet! Pull is now just under 2 lbs. I installed it in about 10 minutes and I'm anything but a gunsmith.

    Things I liked:

Nitro Piston I can never go back to spring. Can shoot in back yard without alerting neighbors. And the sound it makes is a lower thud, which is harder to hear than a higher pitched crack of a spring. Made in the USA!!

    Things I would have changed:

Put weaver rail on like the Trail. I wish 3/8" rails never existed. And the digital camo is too light in color.

    What others should know:

The rifle is pricey, but the parts are higher quality and at 7lbs. it feels much lighter than the Bulky 8lbs. Trail. And the extra cost is worth the trigger being so adjustable and fine. I think mine is down to under 2lbs pull, and crisp. Just have to work with a to get it tweaked to ur exact liking. Does not seem to need the ultra light grip "artillery hold" like some finicky springers. Little bit heavy cocking, but no problem for healthy average man. Dont buy the chinese made trail, even the metal on this NPSS is smoother. Chinese metal looks cheap. Well i guess it is, as is the labor. Also there was no barrel droop at all.

light weight, comes with scope, ergonomic and shoots great

    Things I would have changed:

cheek adjustable piece needs more than 2 positions and easier adjustment method.

    What others should know:

after about 50-70 shots i started getting 1 inch or less groups at 25 yards with jsb match diabolo exact pellets. Scope adjustments are off. Price is a little high be sure to use the coupon code if you have one.

    Things I liked:

I like the feel of the gun. It is very well made and it being made in the USA is re-assuring. It is accurate but depends on pellets being used.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is not very smooth i would make it lighter. Also it is very pellet picky.

    What others should know:

I have the best result with H&N Barracudas in .177

    Things I liked:

Velocity, sound level decreased as rounds increase. (still not seal team 6 quite ļ) Powerful (it destroyed a Gamo cone pellet trap and vaporized the lead pellets- WARNING! don't shot into a metal pellet trap makes lead powder-nasty stuff to clean up and contaminates the air not good since I have children (only have 200 rounds through it so far)

    Things I would have changed:

The stock hand position is more for a smaller hand/ person then for myself (6' - 190lbs) By making the stock abidexterous it loses the fit that i would expect from a rifle that costs $300.

    What others should know:

This rifle is made by crosman and the crosman version of the Nitro piston is much cheaper. I imagine the components are the same just the Remington name costs more. Would like to see a comparison of the two, bet the out come is identical, buy the crosman. (Crosman Titan Nitro Piston Air Rifle)

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

I've only had this gun for 3 weeks and I'm not yet satisfied that I'm using the best pellets for it. Mine's a .22 and I have to say that even though I'm not yet shooting it as accurately as I want to, I still think its a very good buy. I have ordered 4 other kinds of pellets to try in it and I hope to report back with good news in a few more weeks. The gun is fairly quiet and will drive the pellets through one inch pine at 25 yards so I'm saying it has plenty of power. I would like to say that my experience with Pyramyd AIr has been excellent.

    Things I liked:

Scope is a perfect application for the weapon, great power in the .22 version. Ultra quiet. Not very ammo picky. Nitro Piston. Extremely consistent shooting.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger, while adjustable, is the only downfall of this gun. My stock came slightly loose as it was broken in. At 500 shots, had to re-tighten a eighth to quarter turn. Good weight, bit of a recoil.

    What others should know:

This is an all around great gun for plinking, hunting, and pinpoiint accuracy. HN Match Point Barracudas are my preferred crow round but it's heavy grain weight make longer shots difficult to compensate for as the round drops rapidly. Beeman's Silver Sting is the best all around pellet. Medium weight with great take down power. When bench rested with either the HN or Beeman, you can put rounds in a 1/4" group with a steady hand at 30 yards. The beeman's lighter weight make it the better pellet for varying ranges. The beeman silver sting in .22 penetrated a raccoon's skull at 30-35 yards, giving an instant-kill. Will not shoot Crosman premier hollow points with any accuracy. One of 3 shots will be dead on with the other 2 landing as far as 8 inches away from the intended placement of the round. I have a personal preference for pointed pellets as they have great penetration while still giving a mushroom effect on targets. Shooting on a budget is made possible with the new .22 Daisy Pointed round in .22 as well as the Crosman pointed .22. They give respectable accuracy with this gun, giving 1" groups at 25 yards.

    Things I liked:

The fact that Remington would put their name on a pellet gun said alot to me. This is a very sharp looking rifle, and it shoots a 22 cal. pellet with plenty of power to mess up any small critters day. The scope is a nice fit for the rifle also.

    Things I would have changed:

I'm 6'1", the first day I shot around 300 pellets through the rifle. Three things I found: the rifle is heavy, espicially on the barrel end; next, the thumb hole stock is a bit tight for most adult hands and rubbed a sore spot at the base of my thumb knuckle; lastly, the stock is to short for my reach.

    What others should know:

I found that first day that I needed to shoot around 300 pellets to get the rifle to settle in with the scope. I would get it shooting silver dollar size @ 35 yards and then after anywhere from 15 - 50 shoots later the rifle was shooting a different place. But it seems they have finially settled in together. I did stop by my local sporting goods shop and purchased a slip-on Limbsaver recoil pad to give my stock an extra 1" of reach. The rifle has very little kick and the stock pad is good, but this one is super soft. This made the rifle much more comfortable to shoot for me. The stock is made more for a kid while the weight is more man sized.
