    Things I liked:

Once you grab the gun from the box you know that you're holding onto a good product. The scope that's included is perfect for gun also. This guns accuracy is unbelievable, I was stacking pellets @ 25yds after I learned how the gun likes to be held. I was shooting 10.5gr pellets and they were great for hunting.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger changed alot through the first 200 shots, it's slowly getting better though. I adjusted it so it's a long first stage and short second stage.

    What others should know:

This gun shoots hard but is very quiet as well. I plan on testing it with 8gr beemans soon at 50 yards. The scope was moving every 10-20 shots but I think some lock-tite will fix it.

    Things I liked:

Stock is NICE, the scope is okay, MAKE SURE TO TIGHTEN DOWN THAT VERTICAL SCREW TO LOCO IT INTO PLACE THOUGH! (I did this after reading the reviews before I got the gun, I made sure to do that). It really is much like a loud hand stapler. The first few shots were loud but it started to quiet down real fast. Now I have no reservations of shooting it in the back yard at night. Oh yeah, LOVE the adjustable trigger...

    Things I would have changed:

It would be nice to offer more scope choices on this. OR even a red dot sight. Better yet, how about a WEAVER BASE so that way ANY weaver scope or sight would work fine. I have a dovetail to weaver mount that I want to put on but I am a bit concerned with the recoil even though there is no spring, but just a gas piston instead. It makes me wonder if I should try. I have an osprey scope with with lighted crosshairs that I want on this thing so maybe I will try that. BUT, you HAVE to have either a night vision scope or lighted crosshairs or even a red dot in the middle of the crosshairs would be nice. SOMETHING that would allow you to use this at night a bit more. Also offering a bit more aftermarket accessories would be cool. Like maybe upgrade to a lighted scope. Send in the gun or your scope and they will send it back with an upgraded scope or crosshairs. Would be nice, but this gun still beats the competition.

    What others should know:

BELIEVE THE HYPE. This gun is da SHIZZLE. Sure it is a break barrel and sure for the price it should have come with a pellet gun pen or something else to help load pellets, but oh well.

    Things I liked:

Very accurate. Zeroed in scope at 75 feet and placed first real shot right through Heineken cap at that distance. Groups often in same holes. Very pleased so far. 50 rounds at present.

    Things I would have changed:

The scope windage adjustment does not click. It does not engage all the time so I had to play with it for quite a while. Elevation works fine. There should be more instruction with the scope. I had to resort to the Internet for advice as the scope literature was basically poor.

    What others should know:

Pyramydair is a first class company. They ship quickly and they have wonderful resources online for any questions. They have a great tutorial on zeroing a scope. I have previously ordered several items from them and always satisfied

I can NOT say enough about this gun!!! Ladies if you are buying 1 for your man buy you 1 to!!! My wife loves mine!!! Guys buy 2 one for you and 1 for her you cannot go wrong with this gun!!! So easy to cock the accuracy is UNBELIEVABLE @ 25 yards I HAVE stacked pellet on top of pellet ((from a bench rest indoors!!!)) Dime sized groups and tighter easy @ 50 yards NOT 50 feet 50 YARDS!!! I am also a coon hunter and as coon hunters know quiet power is better!!! As to date 26 Squirrels, 7 opossums, a ground hog, 4 coons 1 being 40 1/2 pounds (my chicken food thief) biggest one i have taken in 30 years countless ground squirrels ((chipmunks depends on where ya live I guess)) almost all were shot with the predator polymags, and a few with the RWS super-h-points.. By the way I bought it in the 22 cal. I have nothing against the 177 cal I own a few BUT, for hunting I prefer a 22 cal. pellet to hunt with...All were at different ranges and 99% were head shots again gun has awesome accuracy!!! It will be on my next fox calling hunt over the hill also with no worries, with an accurate 22cal pellet head shot...And will be joining me turkey season also! Awesome knock down power, awesome accuracy, gr8 feel in your hands, cocks easy, balanced right, looks gr8 SOOOOO QUIET!!! Stop wondering if there is anything better out there like I did, or if you should buy it, and just buy it you will NOT be sorry!!! Things I would have changed:Not a thing!!!

    Things I liked:

SILENCE!!!! easy to cock. solid machinery and fairly accurate in .22 cal.

    Things I would have changed:

change the ergonomics REAR of the pistol grip. the angle of the grip isn't the problem, it's the drop of the stock that other reviewers complain about. I got used to it really quick, and don't mind at all.

    What others should know:

The scope is WAY TOO MUCH for this guns capability. but because it is included in the package, I just minimized the scope and have great results.

great weight , nice bull barrel, good scope that came with it.

    Things I would have changed:

Not much about this gun I would change other than a strap.

    What others should know:

This gun is accurate and actually has more of a kick than my 22LR . You can't go wrong with this one. I highly recommend it. The Nitro piston is awesome.

    Things I liked:

The gun is pretty nice. Accurate enough for squirrel hunting for sure. It is quiet!!! Recoil is much better than most "springers".

    Things I would have changed:

The scope that mine came with was not very clear. I just got another one with my Benjamin Trail NP kit and it is clear as can be.....maybe the one that I got was just a bad one. The trigger is a little too heavy for me.

    What others should know:

Overall, Nice gun. I wish they would sell it without the scope! I would recommend it.

    Things I liked:

Nitro Piston is AWSOME. Accurate. Quiet. Powerful-ish. This gun came with an amazing scope for free. I like the thumbhole stock also.

    Things I would have changed:

    Increase velocity by 100fps

    What others should know:

This gun is simply GREAT. If they could boost the velocity up 100fps this gun would truly be the best gun ever. It would completely eliminate the other companies. This gun is great for neighborhood pest control were you don't want the pellet to be able to go thru the game and hit a house or something you don't want to hit. I would not recommend it to anyone looking to hunt at a longer range. It is simply not powerful enough

    Things I liked:

Nice smooth cocking and shooting. The finish is very neci as well.

    Things I would have changed:

It would be great if the cheek pad were more easily adjustable.

    What others should know:

This is a great shooting gun. I had to smooth out the lead in for the pellets and then it is right on target. Other than that it is a fine AG for the money.

    Things I liked:

I liked the whole package! This rifle is AWESOME! I used Pyramyd Air for there expertise in recommending a rifle for me, I had 3 different brands in mind and the person I spoke to gave me a very honest opinion on each brand and at the end I choose the Crosman NPSS. I wasn't dissapointed, in fact I was really very happy with this rifle. Cocking effort was just right. The trigger was adjustable, the power was more than enough. The safety was in the right place for me. I shot it more than 150 times to break it in. I like that it's really quite and it doesn't bother the neighbors. The scope was O.K. but I opted to up grade it after I tried it, and ended up with a Leapers 3X9X50 Full size AO scope with Reticle Intensified (RED & GREEN) or just plain black cross hair with MIL-DOT Aiming. After a few minutes of sighting in I was punching dead center with different kinds of pellets. It made me feel good to hit center target time and time again. I will be shooting this rifle a lot. I had a blast shooting this rifle and the price was right. I made a silent pellet trap with duct seal and talk about quite target practicing. Perfect all the way around. Kudos to the people of Pyramyd Air for helping me to make an educated decision.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing!!! I did change the scope, but that was a personal choice on my part. I really can recommend and stand behind this rifle! Well maybe a buy one get one free... Just kidding. :-)

    What others should know:

Buy it, shoot it, and have fun. Also be safe while shooting and teach safety and shooting to the young ones. Be sure to keep it locked up some way. Because kids being kids will want to shoot it and adult supervision is just a plain must with any type of pistol or rifle.

    Things I liked:

The gun it's self is great, just as advertised. The scope however was not up to par. The windage would not stay put, everytime I thought I had it sitted in it would change to right or left after a few shots. The elevation seemed to stay on. but anyway am having to send the scope back to crosman (at my expense) for a free replacement. It's a pain.

    Things I liked:

I am so glad I got this gun. Nice weight, not too heavy, shoots great, hits hard, extremely accurate, easy to cycle. Once you adjust the trigger, its AWESOME. Very noticable two stage and the second stage is so crisp, you can tell exactly when the gun will fire. I love this trigger. Makes me wanna throw away my other guns. This gun is quiet. The sound of hitting the target seems louder than the shot from the gun. This gas spring has won me over. All my guns will be gas ram guns from now on. Stock does not flake. Chin rest is nice, but I wouldnt know how to adjust it... they say you can, but I wont bother. The scope is excellent with great knobs that click distinctly and can be adjusted without removing any covers. The mil-dot reticle is great. Puts a .22 pelet about 75% through a treated 2x4 (sinks in about an inch and a half at 50 ft.)

    Things I would have changed:

I replaced the one-piece mount with lighter weight airforce rings that were two piece. Other than that, this gun is great and the mil-dot scope is excellent. to get a 11 out of ten, I wish it had illuminated reticle., but thats kind of gimmicky anyway.

    What others should know:

I've read tons of reviews and looked at dozens of guns... This is a very nice gun. I was afraid it would not have a nice build quality to it or that it somehow did not hit very hard. Once I held it in my hand and shot it, I found it to be fantastic. It feels very solid, like something you'd expect a swat team member to use... and it hits hard and is extremely accurate. I didnt like the standard scope mounts it came with, so I upgraded to a pair of airforce rings, and its rock solid. Tight groups with same pelets. If you change pelets, the groups will move / change.... as to be expected. Beeman Lasers are awesome in this gun and make a "laser" type sound as zing toward the target. Not quite supersonic crack, but a cool sound that makes you feel like you are shooting 8-penny nails at hyper velocities in a video game. Very very accurate.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy---1/2 inch 20 yard groups with RWS Superdomes and Meisterkugeln pellets if I do my part. It is also very quiet, smooth and powerful.

    Things I would have changed:

Put another hole in the trigger guard to easily get to the trigger adjustment screw.

    What others should know:

My rifle likes the RWS pellets I mentioned above, which fit very tightly, but also does well with JSB Exact Diabolo 8.4 grain. The rifle is hold sensitive and I can get groups from 1/2 inch to 2 inches at 20 yards by changing my hold. The trigger is adjustable and if you go 3 1/2 turns counterclockwise as Tom's blog suggests, you get to a hair-trigger second stage. However, I have found that during the first several 100 pellets, I occasionally lost the second stage and needed to turn the adjusment screw back in a quarter turn or so to get it back. After 500 or so pellets now, that seems to have stopped and the second stage is predictable and crisp.

very accurate and shoots groups the size of my pinky nail. very quiet and when i miss the animals stay in there spot from 30 yards

    Things I would have changed:

the rubber cheek rest has two screws poking out on each side. this should be fixed. i wish the trigger wasn't so hard to pull

    What others should know:

some pellets are a little hard to get into the breach but all together is a 5 star gun

    What others should know:

Quieter than any springer you own. Powerful, accurate, likes RWS H-Points, JSB Diabolo Exact Jumbo Express, Polymag Predators, Crow-Magnums. Scope is notched for hold-off, good mount, sturdy. You will never buy a Spring Rifle again after trying this one.

very accurate, well made, nice scope, nitro piston, trigger. pretty much EVERYTHING!!!!!!!! about this gun is awsome.

    Things I would have changed:

I would not change anything, but if this gun were available in a hardwood thumbhole stock it would be the ultimate springer

    What others should know:

If you are considering buying this gun, DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!. you won't regret it. I got the 10 for 10 and here are the crony numbers, 737 , 735 , 737 , 738, 732, 739, 737, 735, 737, 736,. Very nice consistancy with 14.3 premiers. Right out of the box I was shooting dime size groups @ 30yds with JSB heavy exact dome. The best hold for this GAS springer is a loose forarm and pulled tight against your shoulder, it works better than artillery hold. As for the paint issue I called crossman before buying the gun and thay said that the problem has bin taken care of . Mine is NOT! paint, but a too piece film and not all camo guns had this problem.

    Things I liked:

The look, the feel. How quiet it is. Complete package with decent scope and good rings. Best 300 bucks I have ever spent.

    Things I would have changed:

Include chamber oil with the combo, or at least post that you should buy it on the web listing. I only found out when I got the gun and read the manual. By then I had already gotten pellets and had to place ANOTHER order just for the oil. Do not use too much of the chamber oil, one drop per 500 is fine. Do not use anything but approved chamber oil, it will diesel and ruin your seals from what I have read.

    What others should know:

This rifle smokes the Gamo Whisper for quietness. I am VERY pleased with my purchase of the NPSS. I have about 700 rounds through my .22 version so far and I could not be happier. It is easy to cock, accurate with POLYMAG Predators, Crow-Magnums. Very accurate with JSB Jumbo Express and RWS Hollow points in 14.2 gr. If you are going to thrown down 300 clams on a gas piston rifle, this is the one to buy. If you adjust the trigger, do not go back more than a 1/2 turn on the adjustment screw. I went a full turn and the first stage would not reset properly. I called Crosman, spoke to Ken the design engineer and he explained that to me. Only use approved silicone chamber oil in the chamber, and only one drop per 500 rounds.

    Things I liked:

This rifle is very quiet !!! The pellet makes more noise hitting your target then the actual rifle. Has some recoil but a lot less then any springer. The trigger works and adjusts better then I expected , has a nice pull to it. The scope is very good and the mount is grade A. Love the overall design of the stock.

    Things I would have changed:

The paint ,the paint, the paint. The digital camo is a nice touch but it looks toyish. Also like everyone else mine is already showing wear after two weeks. The barrel has a very thin coat of paint on it comes of with your finger nail. They said it's a adjustable cheek pad I don't really see how (can't get it to move) plus it looks like it doesn't belong there, but does it's job. The scope stop screw in the mount doesn't screw in to the rail. It has a pointed end that just barely goes in the hole. It would have been better if you could screw it in for better grip. Also some flip open caps for the scope would have been nice.

    What others should know:

I bought a Crosman Bipod for this rifle but it was too small the diameter of the barrel is at least 3/4 of an inch. Had to modify. The recoil is very different on this rifle because of the Nitro Piston not worse then a Spring Rifle but different. I actualy like it. Still has kick but seems to be smoother. Takes a little to get used to. Make sure you loctite every screw when mounting your scope. I also like to mark where the mount is on the rail and where the rings are on the scope. That way I can see right away if anything iscreeping. It'll save you lot's of headaches in the future. I seem to have very good accuracy with the Crosman Premiers Domed 14.3 g. Buy this rifle, install the scope properly, and you won't be looking for another rifle for a long time. Crosman gets an A- from me on this one. Put better paint on it and it's A++.
