    Things I liked:

    Just about everything.

    Things I would have changed:

The safety mechanism is taking a bit to get used to. A safety mechanism similar to that of the Ruger Mini-14 is what I favor. This one is 1/2 way there. The two stage trigger is also taking some getting used to but the more I shoot, I start liking it more.

    What others should know:

Apparently, there is a break-in period for the gun. I think the manual may have indicated 100 shots and then other enthusiast indicate 500 shots before fine tuning the scope. I put in about 100 shots so far and I'm sorry to say that pellets are still all over the target. No consistency whatever. At this point, I have no confidence in shot placement. It makes me wonder if the scope is defective.

    Things I liked:

When i purchased this gun, i almost bought it just plainly for the looks. this gun looks great in real life! scope is awesome, only sighted it in once. the piston makes the break barrel soooo smooth and quiet.

    Things I would have changed:

the camo pattern rubs off in some places quite easily. also it would be very hard for remington to fix this, but it drops like a foot or 2 in only a hundred yards. some people may think this isnt very bad for an airgun, but my crosman quest that was just like 70 bucks drops maybe 1 inch at a hundred yards.

    What others should know:

this gun absolutely wonderful, and if well taken care of can deffinatelly take down those crows or rabbits easily at 50 to 75 yards.

    Things I liked:

This airgun not only looks great,it feels, handles and shoots even better than I thought it would! This air rifle is well made and a good value for the money. It was accurate right out of the box but it just keeps getting better. I like the adjustable comb as it give better alignment for the scope which by the way is so good I plan to keep it on it rather than to replace it. This is the first Gas Piston air gun I have owned and it is a real pleasure to shoot as the recoil and noise is negligible.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is supposed to be a two stage, but the one that came on my gun felt like one long creeping pull. It does have and adjustment which made it somewhat better, but I replaced it with one from Charlie Da Tuna. This has made this gun the way it was intended to be, which is accurate. It is the gun I grab first anytime I go out plinking.

    What others should know:

I got this gun in .22 cal. and it is very accurate and very hard hitting. It seems to like any pellets in the 14.5 range and doesn't seem picky. It is a little heavy with a heavy barrel, 8.5 pounds with the scope, but this helps in shooting this gun offhand. It is moderate to cock when compared to other airguns, but the more I use it, the easier it seems. Get the .22 cal and plenty of pellets, it is a real bear and lots of fun.

    Things I liked:

1.) 2 position rubberized adjustable check weld. (2.) Center of gravity is forward ('barrel heavy') which, for me, helps steady my aim. (3.) The scope covers are yellow 'see through' so the rifle can be shot without removal of the covers (but only when set to 3X... which is most of my shooting both indoors and outdoors) (4.) Very comfortable grip and, overall, a well balanced rifle that has the 'Wow !' factor. (5.) Adjustable trigger. (6.) Safety can be flipped on/off at any time including after the rifle is cocked (the Safety is NOT activated during the cocking process).

    Things I would have changed:

1.) Addition of Sling mounts would be a GREAT addition. (2.)'Flip up' scope covers vs. the elastic cord lanyard style. (3.) a little lighter trigger pull. (4.) Longer access hole/slot on the trigger guard that permits easier adjustment of the trigger adjust screw. (When using a standard screwdriver, the trigger needs to be pulled back to access the adjustment screw via the current access hole/slot).

    What others should know:

The .22 version in Camo is awesome ! As the manual states, there is a break in period. 'Out of the box' accuracy (using Crosman Premier Hollow Points) was fine yet kept getting better until it settled after 100 shots with very tight groups. This is a hard hitting and very accurate rifle. The Nitro piston is a real winner that eliminates the spring vibration vs. a typical 'Springer' (so the annoying 'thwang' vibration and sound is gone). The Nitro piston has the secondary benefit of being quieter than a typical Springer although it's not as quiet as the advertisements would lead one to believe. I was pleasantly surprised that the breaking/cocking force for such a hard hitting rifle is moderate. As it's made by Crosman in the US, I'm guessing that if I ever need service that parts will be readily available at a fair price.

    Things I liked:

The gun balances well in your hands. Has the "real gun" feel.

    Things I would have changed:

Having trouble with sighting in the scope. Sometimes the adjustments turn real easy and sometimes they turn rather hard. After some time I finally got zeroed in. Maybe a better scope would be something to consider with this gun.

    What others should know:

I'm a 49 year old first time pellet gun owner. I'm and avid hunter and bought this gun just to shoot and have fun, but also to help my children have a way to practice finding the target in the scope, and learn to shoot from different positions, other than a bench. After a week of fun and practice I see tremendous improvement with my 14 year old son, and my 10 year old daughter. Great tool to work on shooting form, and fundamentals. You don't need to purchase expensive ammo, and you need no gun range to shoot, you can do it in your back yard!!

    Things I liked:

I like the low sound level and the trigger is very nice too!

    Things I would have changed:

I understand the reason for the indent in the top of the rifle for the scope mount but it does limit the scopes adjustability.

    Things I liked:

Looks really good, scope included. Feels solid almost too solid.

    Things I would have changed:

Rifle is too heavy for most women and younger kids than a teenager and even then not sure.

    What others should know:

Accuracy is terrible. Using a bench rest I zeroed it in for a couple shots then I would get a wild one, off by 6 inches and not just one stray. It then has to be realigned. I am not sure if I have a bad scope or what. Everything is tight and I have double checked, no movement scope to barrel or scope rings. Even tried different ammo, same thing. The brake barrel is very hard and my 30 + daughter (a bit husky) can barely cock it and she loves shooting but this has discouraged her from shooting this rifle and was one of reasons I bought this rifle for her to shoot squirrels. The rifle looks great but what good is it if it's not consistent in shooting what good is it?

    Things I liked:

"Made in USA" quality. Much more powerful than my good ol pump action Benjamin® 392 (which I love to shoot). Very nice scope (I have Nikon scopes on my "real" rifles to compare against) Scope mounting is solid. Digital camo pattern make it look good.

    Things I would have changed:

Better manual. Rising cheek peace required more investigation. It was not clear from the manual if it had four pins that had to be pulled out or two pins that had to be hammered out. It turned out to be the latest.

    What others should know:

compared to Benjamin® 392 requires more muscle power to handle it. Barrel skirt unscrews itself slightly or moves in the process of loading/braking the barel. Registered my various pallet types ( I have .22 caliber) from 620 FPS to 880FPS with crony.

    Things I liked:

After mounting the scope on my new Remington NPSS, I spent the next few hours putting a few rounds of .22 cal Crossman Premier 14.3 gr. Hollow points into a target set at 50 yards. Much to my amazement, it was only off center by a few inches, so it did not take long to bring it to zero with a few minor windage and elevation adjustments. The next day, I used a sandbag rest and place a target at 100 yards not really expecting any good results. Lo and behold, I grouped about ten pellets within a reasonable distance and attributed the few flyers to my shaky aim. I shook up a full cola can and hit it dead on at 100 yards and it literally exploded from the impact. I must say, I am quite pleased and super impressed at the accuracy and power of this rifle and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a semi-professional air rifle. Remington has hit a bullseye with this model.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is a bit stiff which if tuned a bit softer, would allow for some really tight groups at long range. An adjustable buttpad like the one on the Crossman Challenger would be a super addition. The scope is super nice, but the crosshairs tend to be a bit thin and therefore, not sharply focused when ranging the target.

    What others should know:

One of the best air rifles in this price range to come along in a long time.

    Things I liked:

The accuracy was the best about the rifle; using Predator Polymag pellets 8.0 grns. and with some adjustments to the scope I was hitting the bull's eye at 70-75 yds with velocity left over. It's very quiet and has a managable weight. The included Centerpoint 3-9x40AO scope is very high quality and easy to adjust. Also the bullbarrel helps with accuracy and some of the muzzle jump. Next, the nitro piston creates about (.177 w/ 8.0) I'd say 900-1100 fps. Lastly, the Digi Camo finish looks great, and fits the rifle's personality perfectly. A very very nice rifle.

    Things I would have changed:

If I think about it maybe a metal trigger guard, and really nothing else.

    What others should know:

This rifle has some recoil, but is very managable. As all scopes it is not accurate out of the box, it needs some adjusting. The Center Point scope comes with lens covers and a micro-fiber cloth square to clean the lenses too. Overall this is a great rifle for beginners and experts of just about any age.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing this gun rocks!!

    Things I would have changed:

nothing right now because I'm new to the sport.

    Things I liked:

I purchased this as my 1st high power air gun on the strong reccomendation of the Pyramyd Air sales rep. I am very happy I did! I could go on and on about the things I like about the gun... Super quite Dead on accuracy using Diablo "exact" .22 cal Great power and velocity Easy to cock and use Lightweight Scope is well matched to the gun All in all a SUPER VALUE!!!!!

    Things I would have changed:

I would love to see this setup with a real wood stock. I understand the price point would be much higher. Keep the synthetic stock in the product mix but give us a higher end option as well. Maybe with a scope upgrade too!

    What others should know:

Using a cable bore cleaner on the barrel can be a little trickey. I assume it has something to due with the baffeling. My cable bore does work but it requires a bit of patience...

    Taller cheek piece needed.

    What others should know:

I added a rubber accu-rizer cheek piece, also a CharlieDaTuna trigger. The stock trigger is pretty good but the aftermarket one is better. My gun likes Crosman premier domed pellets. Does not like JSB Jumbo Heavy 18.1's or JSB 15.9's I get 740 FPS average with the premiers

    Things I would have changed:

    What others should know:

have not had the problem of stock finish flaking, as mentioned by others and the owners manuel say's to use RMOIL,which I have not been able to find listed at any of the sites I have checked, so if you buy one of these rifles be sure to ask about it or for a suitable substitute

the power is insane..... i shot through a penny, i also dropped a snow shoe rabbit at 25yds.

    Things I would have changed:

constantly cleaning the barrel; once you get it zeroed in you have to do it again every 100 shots, or when you change ammo.

    What others should know:

strong blowback so the scope stop ... well it doesn't stop the scope..... so you end up with a bigger hole.

Very quite and accurate, however the scope lost its zero once after about 50 shots, got it rezored and is much more accurate than my beeman rs2 series. Definately would buy another one for the price

Should lower the price a little.
