    Things I liked:

The look and feel of this gun is very close to the real deal. I have a couple S&W originals, and the extractor mechanism is the same. But you don't need it because the cartridges just fall out. The "wood" grips look very good. I also got the "ivory" grips which fit perfectly, but are too shiny for me.

    Things I would have changed:

An adjustable sight. Shoots 3.5" low and to the left @10M. Trigger safety like on the Webley instead of this dumb safety which prevents cocking the hammer.

    What others should know:

If you want accuracy in a Co2 revolver, get the kind where you load the pellets directly into the cylinder. I have 3 Co2 cartridge guns now, and none of them are accurate, even my pellet 715 Dan Wesson...

I tested this gun with several pellets and BBs, using front and rear loading cartridges. The best group was 2.5" @10M using Beeman Perfect Rounds, which are half a thou larger than BBs and are no longer available. 4.54mm Rundkugels might be the same. Other groups were 3.5"-4.5". Cartridges are the same as for the Webley, but not the Dan Wesson.

    Things I liked:

The realism! I own a schofield in 38 special from Uberti and this revolver is a good match and great for practice in the winter indoors. I got 78 good shots from the first CO2 canister put in this revolver on a chilly 45 degree day in the garage. Accuracy was fair, shooting 1 1/2 inch groups on a rest at 24 feet and 1 inch groups at 15 feet free hand with an occasional flyer. I don't have a problem with the plastic grips. They look like real wood and the fit was excellent. Since this is a top break, loading and unloading was a breeze. I don't know that a speed loader would make that much of a difference since I only use this revolver for target practice and take my time. The flat black finish is nice but I don't know how durable it will be.

    Things I would have changed:

I agree with many of the other opinions that a blister pack cheapens the appearance of this gun and a box would be an improvement. Extra cartridges (12) would be a bonus when buying this revolver. I ordered a dozen more with the gun but they are on back order.

    What others should know:

I would have preferred a rifled barrel for pellets instead of a BB shooter. Perhaps accuracy could have been better.

    Things I liked:

I like the look and feel, almost exactly like the real thing I have shot. If you like holding a REALLY nice replica in your hands, and feeling what a REAL one would be like in your hands, then you TRULY need to get this gun. You will thank me later.

    Things I would have changed:

Make a pellet version with a rifled barrel.

    What others should know:

If you decide to try finding a speed loader, you will not be able to. You WILL find cartridges that are IN a speed loader, mentioning that the CARTRIDGES will fit your Schofield No. 3, and THAT is true. But that speed loader WILL NOT WORK. However (I sometimes just LOVE however_ sometimes, not-too-much!), if you purchase the Dan Wesson speed loader to use with those cartridges, GUESS WHAT? YEAAAAAAA!! IT WORKS. I do not know if there are different Dan Wesson speed loaders, but the one for my short barrel 2-1/2" revolver works just fine. And while I am not SURE, I THINK you can get the speed loader without the Dan Wesson shells - but don't hold me to it.

    Things I liked:

This is a fantastic pistol. I man, really. Full metal, it feels solid and rock solid. Even the plastic handle that I didn't expect to like feels very solid. What I haven't read is how sweet the trigger is. Seriously, this pistol has the sweetest trigger I own, and I'm including guns that are 5 and 10 times the cost. Lastly, it shots with decent accuracy. By that I mean an inch and a half at 30 feet. Not bad for a bb pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

Include more shells, or make them more available.

    What others should know:

Despite its plastic wrapping, this pistol is a total winner. My favorite gun.

I liked the looks of this piece. I have wanted a Scofield for some time and don't have the cash for a real one so I am glad to see one available that I can afford and shoot to get the feel of what they were really like. This piece shoots very accurately and has a good trigger pull. I am very pleased with it. It closes solid with good lock up and has no looseness. Thanks folks.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

It is well worth the price.

    Things I liked:

The fit and finish is great. The exactness of the overall build is fantastic. It's a beauty to behold and hold.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger pull. It is simply too hard to pull and consequently accuracy suffers greatly. Accuracy would improve with loading projectile at rear of shell (casing) also.

    What others should know:

It's a fun gun to handle, look at and shoot, but the accuracy isn't there mainly because of the trigger pull.

THIS SCHOFIELD #3 HAS MADE IT TO MY 5 BEST REVOLVERS IN MY COLLETION, DETAIL AND FEEL AS WELL AS DETAILING OF THE GUN ARE VERY ACCURATE TO THE REAL THING

    Things I would have changed:

THE PLACTIC PACKAGING IS A BITE CHEAP LOOKING, WOULD HAVE PERFURED BOX PACKAGING, BUT DOSE NOT TAKE A WAY ANYTHING ABOUT THIS REVOLVER

    What others should know:

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A COMPATITION TARGET PISTOL THIS IS NOT THE ONE, BUT THIS IS ABOUT AS MUCH FUN AS YOU CAN HAVE WITH A BB PISTOL, SO GET LOTS OF CO2 AND BB'S AND POSSABLE A CHAIR BECAUSE YOU MY GET TIRED OF STANDING FOR THE HOURS OF SHOOTING EVERY TIME YOU PICK THIS UP

    Things I would have changed:

    Things I liked:

The "blued" finish. The ease of lifting the left grip and inserting the CO2 cartridge under it. The built in hex tool to tighten & pierce the cartridge. The brown, plastic, simulated wood grips. The hefty weight and feel. The top break-open loading mechanism and ease of ejecting shells. Ease of loading shells with Webley speed loader. The location of the safety and ease of use. I get about 80 good shots with one CO2 cartridge.

    Things I would have changed:

Rifling the barrel to help make it more accurate. Put it in a box rather than a blister pack. Write a better owners manual - I finally figured out the shell ejector was built in, no thanks to the incomplete instructions. Include at least 6 extra shells and a speed loader. Recommend a holster to fit it and carry them at Pyramyd Air.

    What others should know:

Be patient. It's not very accurate right out of the box. On my second CO2 cartridge (80 shots) I attempted to zero it in. Zeroing in from 25 feet I hit one bullseye (first shot) and five shots were about 3 inches low and 1 inch right. Then after about 50 more shots from 25 feet standing and firing without a support it began to be a lot more accurate. I suspect it needs a break-in period to clean out imperfections in the barrel and also break-in the plastic seats in new shells.

    Things I liked:

The build quality on this gun is fantastic. The action and trigger are smooth and silk and well above most other revolvers in this price range.

    Things I would have changed:

The packaging is really my only complaint.

    What others should know:

The accuracy on this gun isn't spectacular, but it's enough to have some fun with.

    What others should know:

I will be converting this to a 40 caliber paintball gun as I did the Colt SA Old Army.

I have not shot it as a BB gun so I really can't comment on accuracy or velocity.

Outstanding realist replica. The air pistol not only has the look and feel of an actual Schofield No 3, but it also functions like the original. Although the grips are not actual wood, they still look and feel real.

    Things I would have changed:

The packaging is insulting. This air pistol comes in plastic clam shell packaging. This packaging is what I would expect out of a cheap pistol. Pistols of this quality and price range should come with a box.

    Things I liked:

This is one of the guns I've been waiting for. This revolver is very realistic. I, like many shooters and collectors, have a great deal of interest in guns of the old west. This is a an alternative to the replica cartridge guns which are more expensive and require many hours at my reloading bench. Additionally, I can shoot this gun at my basement range. Accuracy was excellent so far. Even though I've only had time to fire about 25 rounds through the pistol, it's a winner!

    Things I would have changed:

Please sell this in a box. A fine replica, such as this should not be sold in shrink wrap. I also recommend having optional bundle sales with the period correct holster (like for the Colt SAA replicas). I assume you will come out with a pellet version with a rifled barrel. I will purchase the pellet version the day I see it on the Pyramid site.

    What others should know:

How about an 1875 Remington revolver as a future project. An 1873 Winchester rifle, similar to the Walther 1894 replica would also be welcome to we old west shooters.
