    Schofield

Love this baby! I've handled a few originals and this feels darn close. It's cool that you get the feel of loading and unloading just like the real deal. Shot great right out of the box and pretty accurate with BB's and pellets. Would like to see a rifled barrel version sometime and some wood grips. Beyond that I highly recommend! Thanks Barra! Thomas

    Things I liked:

With the long barrel, this gun is very accurate. Very well made. The break-open design lets you load the 6 cartridges from the rear without removing them from the gun.

    Things I would have changed:

Of course, no one likes plastic grips.

    What others should know:

Loaded this gun weighs about the same as the firearm.

Everything was good. It is heavy, as much as regular firearm, so if you are getting this to train kids you will have to get creative.

    Quality

Definitely quality construction. The feel is great and my son is super excited to try it out. Shipping was really quick as well, which is great because so many things we have ordered have been lost in the mail lately, the experience with Barra has been great.

received revolver and was impressed with weight. Definitely not a kids toy. Accuracy is acceptable for use intended, actually reaches further then I expected Well worth the money spent.,

    Very impressive airgun company

I personally think that Barra airguns can hold their own with any of the more established airgun companies in the business! I've purchased 3 pistols so far, plus the 1866 cowboy rifle, they are all top quality airguns. I purchased the schofield no.3 and immediately purchased another one in nicol finish. They're both awesome to shoot! I also purchased the full auto Glock replica. I own the baretta 92a1, crosman pfam, and the legends m17 full auto's. By far the Barra 009 full auto is the best of all of my full auto' pistols. Not only are their airguns of the best quality, so is their customer service and timely shipping of merchandise. I'm totally impressed with Barra airguns, and as a collector I would absolutely recommend Barra airguns as a go to for quality products, quality service, and exceptional prices!

    Things I would have changed:

I am collector it less expensive the real one and in Canada is very more easy buy replica and i put evrery gun on the wall so i would change one little thing the side where serial number remove on barrel the real caliber and put other side!

    What others should know:

    No, the gun is perfect

    Things I liked:

Feels and functions like my original. This is a great value. Not as accurate a shooter as my Colt SA which is super accurate due to sights and trigger, but pretty close.I shoot at suspended one liter water bottles at 7 and 10 yards-almost every day. Have to hold an inch to the right of the bottle at 10 yds-not a big deal. I added the simulated ivory grips and used a black permanent sharpie to cover the white warning lettering. Impressive in a Mexican loop holster. Did not use the hex wrench in the handle/grip/stock-get a 6mm full size hex wrench.

    Things I would have changed:

The front sight is too wide to align with the tiny v slot of the rear sight-don't want to try to file anything, but it could be done if you are more competent than I am. Easy to reload with BBs . I tried pellets recommended by Pyramid Air in the pellet cartridges that came with the gun-not a great improvement over the BBs and more difficult to seat in the cartridges.Reminded me of conical bullets vs. round ball in black powder pistols-not that big a deal either way!

    What others should know:

A perfect Old West breaktop you can shoot in your backyard! I WOULD buy it again. The plastic wood grips that came with it look very similar to wood-this is not a junk pistol, but well worth it!!!

    Things I liked:

Is a pretty cool replica of a classic revolver . Feels good not a cheap plastic toy that breaks five minutes later . I am a firearm collector of WW2 back to flintlock front stuffers and since I can't afford a genuine Scolfield or a Italian repro this fills the spot for now .

    Things I would have changed:

THE EJECTION SUCKS !!!! The only thing I was dissapointed with is that it does not eject the shells like a real revolver would or should. That is part of the cool factor . Why did they skimp on this part . The CO2 Winchesters eject their shells like a original rifle does why not give the Scholfield its do .

    What others should know:

Ejection , ejection , ejection if that is important to you be warned . I do not know if all the other Scholfield s by other manufactors eject or not but don't expect anything from Barra . I am new to these CO2 guns so I don't if the Webleys are the same or not . Luckelly I have a genuine Webley .455 . After being on back order for months it was just a let down .

    Things I liked:

Right off the bat I was surprised by the weight of this gun. It seemed heavy after handling the Colt Peacemaker. However it is well balanced and felt good in my hands. I love the way the gun opens for a reload. Much-much quicker than the Colt, and in the old west days I can see where that would be a big advantage over the Colt. As far as that goes, in my opinion it even reloads faster than any of the revolvers out there. I guess that's why up until now I liked my Webley Mark VI the best for revolver shooting. Don't get me wrong. I still love my Webley Mark VI, but now I've got a new gun to love just as much. I'm very happy with this gun and I'm very satisfied with my purchase. .

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would change on this gun is the gun metal gray that it comes in. I thought it was going to be black like my Webley Mark VI. I bought the ivory grips for it and haven't used them because they don't look right with the gun metal gray of this gun. The faux wood grips that come on it that look very much like real wood are a much better fit with that color . I may strip and polish the whole gun at some point and have it anodized. I done that with my 8 inch Dan Wesson and it looks great now. However be ready to shell out $100 for it if you decide to do that because that's what they charge for it. No regrets though because the finish looks much better than the silver ones that you can buy.

    What others should know:

It will take a bit of getting use to, but once you do. With a bit of practice and some sight correction you'll be putting BB's dead center on target. I have nothing bad to say about this gun other than the gun metal gray that it comes in. Of course that's a personal preference and I won't fault the gun for that. Thus my high scoring of the gun. If you want a flat up great revolver that will give you hours and hours of fun then you must get your hands on one of these. A piece of history that I'm thrilled to own and shoot. The next best thing to the real one.

I read all the hype and didn't think it was so great at first but after looking at it and firing it I get it. m It is well made and good trigger

    Things I would have changed:

for the price nothing for a price I would prefer a blued version

    What others should know:

    Things I liked:

Reminiscent of the Schofield revolver which lends to the fun. Nice heft. A little forward weight at the muzzle which is enough to help steady the hold. Trigger is a nice three pound let off without creep. Accurate for ripping soda cans completely in half during basement plinking sessions. Have yet to rest it for more serious accuracy tests. I do plan on doing that in a side by side comparison to my Webley at 20 and 30 feet.

    Things I would have changed:

As it comes I wouldnt change anything that might be forcing a price increase. Wood grips, nice box, a firearm type blued finish etc. would do nothing for the actual revolver. It would only raise the cost substantially without improving on the quality of what really matters.

    What others should know:

Only two things of importance. Get a 6mm hex key and keep it with your kit. I can understand why others do it and its advice worth noting. A swipe of flat black paint or similar along the top of the front sight might help alleviate some glare. That and..... Order some pellet cartridges to go with it. You’ll be glad you did.

Feels excellent, shoots great, and amazed my friends.

    Things I would have changed:

The piece that pushes the ejector rod broke and is now dislodged somewhere in the gun. Ejector rod came out and now i have to pull each cartridge out by hand. Trying to fix it, hopefully I can figure it out or get in contact with PyramydAir or Bear River. If not for that I would've rated 5 stars.

    What others should know:

Fantastic BB gun, other than the peice I need to fix. Worth the price you pay.

The feel and accuracy and trigger are great. I like the way the bbs are loaded from the bullet end of the shell, also the location of the safety

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

I ordered extra shells, both bb & pellet which both work in the I ordered extra shells. both bb and pellet which also work in my Webley However the original pellet shells that came with the Webley do not work in the Schofield. The rim on the back of the original Webley shells is to thick and will not allow the Scofield to close

    Things I liked:

Like the Colt, it is a piece of history, very well done and very accurate with pellets. It is really a pleasure to shoot these revolvers.

    Things I would have changed:

The attachment of the Hex key inside the grip is weak, I am using the normal key to avoid breaking the grip. Unfortunately, there is almost a book written in white on the right side of the gun.

    What others should know:

Using both hands, free grip, at 24 feet I got 63% of 24 shots inside a 1.5-inch bulls-eye, 96% inside the 3-inch circle and one shot out. I used the H&N Match Green pellet. Not shooting fast, I got 84 shots per CO2 with pellets.

    Things I liked:

I have the NRA 7" Peacemaker the 6" Duke Peacemaker and the Ace in the Hole along with the Webly and this Schofield in the most accurate of all ( with pellets) I used the cartridges from the Webly they're the same, for the pellet test.I was surprised on a smooth bore how well it shot the pellets .did pretty well with the Hornaday BBs also.

    Things I would have changed:

the wrench embedded in the girp is just supported by a thin plastic mold ,as are the others, taking out the 3rd CO2 it split loose. Bear River had me a new grip ASAP ,Great people to deal with .I filled the surrounding areas in the grip with JB weld for lateral support . and doing the same with all the other ones also , This is a weak spot on all ,Should be a solid plastic area the wrench is set into
