This 6-shooter is an authentic replica of the famous Schofield No. 3 designed by Army Ordnance officer, Major George W. Schofield of the 10th Cavalry.
The U.S. Army ordered thousands of the Schofield No. 3, and many were used by the 4th Cavalry in the Geronimo campaign and by the Buffalo Soldiers of the 9th and 10th Cavalry. The revolver was popular among horse soldiers because of its top-break, rapid ejection system.
The Barra version of this legendary gun features the same top-break design and will bring you hours of plinking fun.

The Barra Schofield #3 is an awesome pellet gun. It is made very well, handles very well and shoots pretty good. People think it is a real fire arm! I thought it would be more powerful but it is powerful enough for casual plinking. I am very pleased with the gun.
Feels like my S&W 2000 Schofield, pretty much works like it too, only easier. The Barra will allow the breech to be opened without setting the hammer on the safety notch, whereas the S&W requires the hammer to be brought back to safety to open the action.
What a great revolver, it is all metal, looks and feels real. Precision made, very realistic even down to loading each cartridge! Love it!
I have only used the Barra Schofield with one CO2 cartridge, but it is a fun gun to shoot and looks and feels like the real thing. After shooting BBs with the CO2 propellent, I ordered the .22 caliber pellet conversion kit and a set of six pellet cartridges. I am looking forward to shooting the pistol with the .22 caliber conversion kit installed. I am guessing that it will shoot even more accurately than it already does with BBs.
I opted to purchase thgis after seeing the review on youtube by a noted shooter. It is so much like an actual schofield and handles very well. I totally recomend it to any one considering a 19th century replica air gun.

Just bought this and couldn’t wait to try it out! Feels great right out of the box. Nice weight, like the real thing. Put in a CO2 canister (easy!), loaded BBs in the cartridges and loaded the pistol, took it outside and shot it. Very accurate and powerful for a BB pistol! I will be getting the rifled .22 barrel soon and change it over! Buy it, you won’t be disappointed!

The schofield 7 inch is very accurate right out of the box. At least mine was. My only problem is that I also purchased the rifled barrel replacement in .22 ca. I've seen the video where the rep just removes the cylinder and the original barrel just drops out. Not the case with mine. No matter what I've tried the original barrel, .177 is not going anywhere. Overall a nice piece but really wanted this in .22 cal which isn't going to happen.
