Just received mine today. Excellent rendition of the Schofield. Excellent sights , and trigger . Barrel advertised as 8 inches , but measures the actual 7 inches of the Schofield revolver, 10 for ten shows velocity over 425 and average of around 430 fps. Very similar t o the Webley ,and uses the same cartridge as the Webley
Things I would have changed:I cannot express my disgust at receiving an excellent revolver in a Walmart level blister pack. Pyramid really should contract to have boxes made for a nice revolver like this I will be placing mine in an original gold S&W Heritage Series box I picked up a few years back, a replica box like this or even like Uberti uses would be nice. Six shells is a real stinker. Revolvers like this should be bundled with a decent box and 12 spare shells or 6 and a speedloader
What others should know:I had suggested this revolver after the introduction of the Peacemaker and the Webley. Next up should be pellet versions of the Schofield in 22, the revolver is big enough. a nickel finish option with pearl grips, an 1875 Remington sa revolver ,an 1860 Colt percussion pistol loading pellets from the from of the cylinder with a rammer ,and yes one more time a lever action Winchester 1873 and a Winchester 92 large loop and Mares Leg version
