Ataman AP16 & BP17 .22 cal Magazine, 7rd

Very solid product in construction and operation. This item is also supplied with a tool to adjust the rotational operation within the breach of the AP16, making it easy to adjust for smooth fit in the breach. This is a metal magazine, though not steel. Very light weight.

My only complaint about this magazine is that my pellets do not seat firmly into the magazine. I use Air Arms 16 gr, .22 cal pellets with my AP16. The pellet seating in each chamber is adequate if the magazine is handled carefully, but is not what I would call a snug fit. Rotation is not always as smooth as it could be but does generally work well.

Most of the reviews on this item refer more to the Ataman AP16, which is an excellent performer in accuracy and construction. My overall feeling (I am biased toward rotating magazines like this one) is that while this magazine does the job, if you drop one you may find that a number of pellets have escaped their chamber. I handle them carefully, since any rough handling could cause pellets to move within the magazine's chambers and jam with rotation. Not a problem if you are careful in handling. I am still hoping to find a pellet that fits a little more snugly into this magazine in the 16 grain range. Otherwise, I love the product and own 8 of them.

Cross bolt safety! to easily pushed to far to the right and not disengaging! Need a better stop.

These are great little magazines, very compact with no moving parts to break. I can load up 4-5 of them, toss them in my pocket and head into the woods for some fun.

Maybe make them in florescent orange so I don't loose them! :-)

Buy plenty of extras, the AP16 is such a blast to shoot, you'll want to have plenty of these loaded and ready to go!

I had issues with one of the mags but P.A. sent a replacement ASAP no more issues

If you love to shoot your Ataman AP 16 like I do you will want to buy plenty of magazines so you won't have to reload between firing sessions.

The magazines work fine in my pistol, so far.

Be careful, as some pointed pellets may be too long for the magazine.
