Description
The Athlon Optics Talos BTR GEN2 10x42 Rifle Scope with AAGR1 SFP MOA reticle delivers exceptional value and accuracy at medium and long distances, with features typically found on scopes that cost much more. It uses a 30mm aircraft-grade aluminum one-piece tube for increased durability, and a 42mm objective lens for a sharp sight picture.
This scope features crisp and vivid views across a variety of lighting conditions, with less reflected light and improved light transmission because of its fully-multicoated lenses. It is nitrogen purged, shockproof, waterproof, and fog proof to provide consistent operation despite the presence of moisture or adverse weather.
The Athlon Optics Talos BTR GEN2 10x42 uses a precision zero stop on the elevation turret to enable shooters to return to zero without having to look away from their target, and both turrets are exposed for ease of adjustment. Both the elevation and windage turrets adjust in a range of 120 MOA, with 1/4 MOA click increments and 15 MOA of adjustment per revolution.
The AAGR1 SFP (second focal plane) MOA reticle has etched glass that results in better visibility, with hashmarks in 1 MOA increments and a numbered floating dot every 10 MOA. It has a .3 MOA floating center dot, the crosshairs extend to 30 MOA in both directions horizontally, and to 20 MOA at the top and 50 MOA at the bottom for increased holdover options.
To get a scope that improves precision for hunting and target shooting and offers impressive features for the price, buy the Athlon Optics Talos BTR GEN2 10x42 Rifle Scope with AAGR1 SFP MOA reticle at Pyramyd AIR today.

Reasonably clear with very little distortion around the edges. Zero stop is very easy to use. I like fixed power scopes for air guns, not so many moving parts to go bad, most people that use variable scopes for target or plinking set them on high power and leave it at that .
Things I Would Have ChangedWould change to 12 power, believe it or not that makes a big difference.
What Others Should Knowthis is best for use as a test sight for the reloader to check loads on paper then remove and put on a scope that is better for hunting or long range target use. The crosshairs are very fine, great for target but not so for hunting. The 10pwr. is enough for target up to 200 yds. not so good after that. Hashmarks seem to be accurate enough but are too close together unless you are using a very, very accurate gun. I don't know if this would work on a spring or gas piston air gun or not. If it would survive that type of gun, it would be great for up to 100 yds. Also, I have a 22rf target rifle by Rem. and it works great for that. I would go so far as to say that would be the best use for this sight. I have a 12X and 20X Leupold scopes that are 40 years old and are still working, if this brand had those types of scopes,I would bet they would be as good as them for those types of guns. Keep the holes in the 10X.
