The Ballista Sting 13” Crossbow Bolts feature a 6mm (.244) OD carbon shaft with an Aluminum Penetrator Insert. The insert is compatible with a host of other tips from broadheads to bow fishing and everything in between. Overall bolt length is 13 inches which includes the fletched, 11” shaft. The rest is filled out by the insert, field tip, and half-moon nock.
These bolts offer excellent penetration into the target, and the smaller OD shaft helps them buck the wind while in flight. The optional brass and steel inserts allow the archer to adjust the weight as necessary. They are compatible with any standard-size tip.
