Step into the Wild West with the Barra 1858 Cowboy Series CO2 BB Revolver. This single-action revolver is a faithful replica that’s ready to go right out of the box. It uses a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge to propel .177 caliber BBs up to 400 FPS. This is powerful enough for shooting tin cans or small pests. Each CO2 cartridge allows for about 100 shots (+/-) and thanks to a magazine follower the 18-round mag is easy to load. This repeating revolver gives the air gunner a fun, simple shooting experience that’s great for beginners.
Available in either gold or black, this pistol is a real beauty. From the octagonal barrel to the receiver’s finish, this revolver captures the essence of a real 1858 Revolver. It is lightweight and well-balanced, with a polymer frame. The kit comes with one 250 count pack of BBs and two CO2 cartridges.
Next time you head out to do some plinking, make sure you grab your Barra 1858 Cowboy Series CO2 BB Revolver. Buy yours today from Pyramyd Air.

Very Comfortable and Nice Design, Excellent for the Price!
Things I would have changed:Well, the gun was only $55 so I can expect it to be a target shooter, but if Barra was wanted to may a change, I would be great to ad a real cylinder that rotates for the realistic look and feel.
What others should know:I have had no issues or problems with this item at all. Love it really for what I bought it for, Plinking... I seem to get about 100 to 120 shots before CO2 is exhausted of air. That's cool! I may actually order another one and get some holsters for some fun quick draw..

This gun arrived well fitted and finished. The standard 45 minute deburring with other guns with fingernail files and small knives was totally unnecessary. Feels good in the hand right from the start. The sights are western small and the trigger pull a bit stiff. My indoor range seven yard position was cluttered with temporary storage so did my shooting from five yards. Using a fixed hand support I had no problem placing five shots inside 3/4” circle once adjusting to the sights. Free handed opened up a seven shot group to 1 1/2” with five of those a 1” group. Hopefully the trigger will smooth in as this is only a one pound gun. Velocity was 431 shot 1, 426 shot 19 at 80 degrees. On the fourth reload I noticed a big drop in power shot 65 was 239 uncorking the co2 only a tiny puff of co2 was left. When installing new co2 it was pleasant to barely hear a tiny tiny pop with no weight checked co2 loss something other guns can have problems with. I figure good for three 18 round reloads.
Things I would have changed:The trigger pull could be half as heavy and still be safe making for better accuracy. Maybe some youtube MaGyver(s) will come up with a fix to show me. A smooth trigger would make this a top shelf fun gun. I’ll keep my eye on youtube. Those guys can be pretty skilled and creative sometimes. I just know i don’t want to get inside any German airguns. Way over engineered with tons of little balls, springs, levers ! My one Snow Peak has like four moving parts works fine.
What others should know:I like black but the gold model might afford better sight acquisition. The safety is metal. Mine was super stiff. Using a hard piece of smooth broken off belt clip from my MaGyver box cycling it three dozen times got it working smoothly. Mastering a smooth trigger pull while staying on target takes full concentration. Trigger is the weak spot design wise. Cocking the hammer is easy. Fully cocking moves the barrel forwards and backwards a tad. Probably for loading a round. The barrel sits 1 1/2” in from the muzzle but still measures 5” of actual barrel length inside.
