Designed and made in the USA. I've been airgunning for many years and I've often wondered what velocities my guns were producing. I had an idea about what they were doing, especially relative to one another, but no specific data until I purchased this chrony. Now I know precisely the individual gun velocities with the lead pellets I use. The manufacturers often advertise velocities with PBA ammo, not lead. Now I know which of my guns is the most powerful and which ones need some work or retiring. Also, I have discovered- thanks to this product- how much a malformed pellet- especially the skirt- can affect performance. This is good info making pellet purchasing decisions.
Things I would have changed:Nothing I can think of right now.
What others should know:This chronograph is great for the airgunner who just wants some good velocity readouts without the additional cost of a printer. The large digital readout will display projectile speed in feet per second or meters per second. It will also allow you to display the High Velocity, Low Velocity, Average Velocity and number of shots. The unit does not like bright sunlight and operates better in a shaded area or on a cloudy day. Overall, I consider this money well spent, a useful and easy to operate product. It works fine with the higher velocities of my firearms, too.
