I have to admit that I too was equally perplexed by this review..! What is he saying..? Was the muzzle velocity slower by 300' fps.?

Should have paid for 20 for $20. You would have had a function,fill and chrono string test.

Often when people don't use correct grammar or spell incorrectly it is marks them as stupid or at the least ill informed. That's a shame, because if they really knew what they were talking about it would make understanding their posts much easier.

I don't know but underrated , do you say it is really shooting at 1200+ fps? Overrated would mean 600 fps but that would probably be by using a heavier slug , about 100 ish grains heavier.

I just got mine used. Shot a wild pig about 175 pounds in the shoulder at around 75 yards. Down hard with one shot using 350 grain bullet. Extensive damage to bones muscles and tissues. Have not timed FPS yet but sure seems powerful enough for anything I am likely to do with it. Not going rhino hunting, obviously!

I do not think this reviewer knows what he's talking about...but I'll give the benefit of doubt and pose a few questions. First, clarify what you meant in saying "mine (your rifle) is underrated high 300 fps range. Do you mean to say using a chrony, your rifle is measuring muzzle velocities in the upper 300 fps range? Or are your muzzle velocity values consistently falling short of attaining the factory spec value as it's shooting 300+ fps slower than advertised? Have you calibrated your chrony lately? Did you clean the barrel before testing? Did you collect initial baseline values by replicating, as best you could, the test conditions as the Gamo test (mainly fill pressure, type and weight of pellet)? Lastly, with all else remaining equal, did you record resulting values obtained through the introduction of only a single variable at a time to your experiment? If attention was not given to any of the aforementioned, adjust experiment accordingly and retest.

I'm curious about the 300' per second statement as well. Are you saying it fires 300 fps below the manufacturer's claimed rate of speed? Hey Pyramid, how about running an 'accuracy of projectile speed' test?

You're saying your rifle is shooting a projectile at 300 feet per second?
