Description
Do you like to hunt? Get the Hatsan Torpedo 150 underlever springer air rifle! The synthetic stock will stand up to rough use in the field much better than a wood stock. Adjust the 2-stage trigger to meet your needs and never miss again because of a bad trigger.
Ideal in any caliber for dispatching small, pesky rodents at short distances. Also fun for plinking, shooting spinners and popping paper targets.

10 of 22 Hatsan Torpedo 150 Sniper Vortex Reviews
This particular Hatsan underlever air rifle is both durable and attractive. Mine is .25, because I recently discovered I really like this caliber that I snubbed for years... Live and learn. Anyway, I like the fiber optic sights, adjustable cheek rest, adjustable draw, the adjustable trigger, and the fixed barrel that certainly provides consistent accuracy with various pellets I've been testing. When warmer weather arrives, I'll conduct more extensive penetration, accuracy, and velocity tests.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing.
What Others Should KnowThis air rifle is relatively large and heavy. It also requires more than a little physical effort to cock. And it is rather slow to operate in comparison to breakbarrels. None of this bothers me. But prospective buyers might consider these to be problems for them.
The rifle outstanding!! I couldn't be any happier!!!
Things I Would Have ChangedI wouldn't change a thing!
Built rugged and it needed to be because there's not much packing material in the box.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing about the rifle but please put more tape on the outer box. It was open.
What Others Should KnowYou need long arms to cock this thing. But it shoots great.
I love the fact that this airgun has heft & plenty of power to boot - also it's pretty darn accurate out to 50yards and beyond. the cocking effort isn't too bad either, however... my .25 has quite a good kick to it- and because of that kick the locking mechanism that keeps the underlever cocking arm in place pops open releasing the underlever and thus it drops down a few inches. I was shooting heavier lead pellets - I figured the heavier the pellet the less recoil , but not so, it has not happened with the lighter alloy pellets- only with the lead pellets. I think they need to install a heavier spring in the mechanism.
Things I Would Have Changedyes. the spring in the locking mechanism for the under lever cocking arm needs to be a bit stronger to accommodate the heavy recoil.
Solid rifle
Things I Would Have ChangedCharging handle pops off after each firing
.25cal. Well made with a durable synthetic stock. Powerful. Accurate. Nice styling with a working sound moderator. Comes with sling mounts.
Things I Would Have ChangedI smoothed the sharp edges.
What Others Should KnowThis rifle is a super buy.
Not only for it's good looks...but its super accurate, bulit for durability & has more power potential over the factory settings..
It's self contained "AIR spring" is unique because it can be depressurized for constant plinking & target practice, or with a "PCP hand pump," you can boost the pressure for hunting!
It's weight is definitely a plus, because it helps control shot accuracy & recoil...
I have "personally modified" my own .25cal mod 150 sniper, to chronograph at 1089 fps with lead free 16.54 grain pellets. Using PA's calculator that's 43.57 FPE!
& 871 fps with Crow Magnum 26.23 grain pellets... Using PA's calculator that's 44.2 FPE!
With scope, I consistently hit a golf ball at 50yrds...
I think it has real hunting potential..
The Hatsan Torpedo 150 Sniper Vortex has STYLE and it has Grace. Very A C C U R A T E !!
Things I Would Have ChangedGet rid of the cheap "bipod" that comes with it. If you happen to get one with yours.
What Others Should KnowMy review of the Hatsan Torpedo 150 Sniper Vortex.
First off let me tell you that I've had mine for 2 years now and love it. Used to have a break barrel (springer) and I was all over the target unless I put on my military death grip. I like the idea of under the barrel lever for cocking. THE BARREL DOES NOT MOVE. More accurate? I would say so, no barrel “droop” here. I shoot at 30 yards with a scope and constantly put my (or the rifles) favorite pellets right on target. When you first pick one of these up you think heavy, but heavy is good for target shooting from a bench. No movement!! Looks and style.....this air rifle has it all.
Bolt action and single shot, but that's A-OK when your going for the bullseye 30 yards away. For the money I don't think you can go wrong with the HATSAN TORPEDO 150 SNIPER VORTEX.
This gun has power. H&N 19.9's average 750fps, JSB 25.3's average 680fps. The pistol grip stock feels comfortable and has sling swivels if you want to attach a sling. Sights are fiber optic and easy to use and don't disappear in dimly lit areas. The adjustable cheek weld stock is a nice touch and something that I use. Fairly quiet for such a powerful air rifle. Accurate.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would break some of the sharp edges around the loading port. They are uncomfortable and make your fingers sore after a while. I would center the barrel better, I have to adjust the rear sight way left to get on target.
What Others Should KnowGun is heavy and fairly difficult to cock. The stock screws will loosen with use and should be removed and installed with Loctite on them. The loading port is too small for someone with large fingers and makes it harder to load than a break barrel. The limited room makes loading a pellet straight difficult. Not perfect but overall I really like this rifle.
The rifle had a .lot of power.
Things I Would Have ChangedIt is a bit hard to load.
What Others Should KnowThe cocking arm fell out of its holder when firing and its heavy to lug around.

Pretty much everything
Things I Would Have ChangedThe trigger , shorten up the take-up and lighten up the pull a bit
What Others Should KnowMy torpedo 150 is .22cal. Used it a couple months ago to get rid of ground hog.
Put a 17gr. Predator metal mag at 860 fps through his ear at 25 yards and light out .
Nice and accurate
