Benjamin Marauder PCP Air Rifle
As the caliber increases, the gun becomes somewhat louder.
PLEASE NOTE: Marauders that come with the Lothar Walther Barrels feature Weaver/Picatinny rails instead of the 11mm Dovetail of the original.
Testing has shown that filling your Marauder air rifle to no more than 2,600 psi (179 bar) may deliver the greatest accuracy. We recommend trying different fill levels between 2000 and 3000 psi to determine the optimum fill level for your own rifle. Each gun is different. A chronograph is the best way to determine optimum fill levels for precharged pneumatics (PCPs).
*The owner's manual does not show the correct weight and length for this rifle.
The owner's manual states this about fill pressures:
"The Marauder has been factory set to an efficient fill pressure that will suit most hunting and target uses."
If you're just venturing into PCP guns, get this gun! You'll be hooked for life. It's not just the fact that it's remarkably accurate. But it's got a spectacular trigger. One that you usually find on much more expensive guns.
Benjamin has done everything right when it comes to filling this gun because the quick-disconnect is an industry standard. You'll never have a problem finding a way to fill your gun with air.
The deep, rich bluing and the stockwork are reminiscent of fine European air rifles...but you'll be paying a lot less than what you'd spend for one of them. You will lack nothing with this air rifle. Get it. Shoot it. Enjoy it. You'll be the envy of your airgunning friends.
If you're left-handed and need the bolt moved to the left side of the rifle, please add that optional service to your cart when you buy your gun.

Accuracy is phenomenal, enough so that I'm glad I didn't spend extra for a Lothar barrel I'm new to PCPs but find it hard to believe there's a better rifle for the money
Things I would have changed:Upon arrival the magazines were virtually impossible to insert, to the point that if I got one in it wouldn't rotate. If this happens to you just know that on top of the forward part of the receiver are two allen screws that, when loosened, allow you to move the barrel assembly. After loosening those screws and moving the barrel assembly out about .010" the magazines were just right. The other thing to note, and maybe I didn't read enough, but the rifle came charged to a bit over 3000 psi and I mistakenly thought the gauge was broken, not realizing it's shipped pressurized for a reason.

this thing was awesome out if the box and super accurate! this one was a 22 lothar barrel and just some adjustments to your scope and your good to go unless your scope is cheap. i suggest getting the vortex diamondback 4-12 x 40 as i has held up. the barrel does scratch easily so be aware and the stock can get marked up easily. I got it as a gift and have been using it since.
Things I would have changed:so, on the bolt action it gets much thinner and you use that to seat the pellet. this part does break, and this is the second time I've broken it. please make sure you've pulled your bolt action enough because I usually break the pins then. also, sometimes the pellets seem to get stuck and go into the bolt action right in a gap between the bolt action and the actual rifle. it's hard to pull the mag out when it's like that. also, you can fire it when you haven't pushed your bolt action forward enough and it causes basically a dry fire.
What others should know:honestly i would definitely suggest you buy this in lothar barrel. please use a nice scope and definitely buy yourself a compressor even though their pricey your arms will thank you later. please be aware of the bolt action breaking and pyramyd air will help you and they replaces my gun entirely the one time! this is heavy so be prepared to say it's too heavy, for me I've gotten used to it now. that's all that i know to tell you and to sum it up, HIGHLY SUGGESTED FOR BEGGINERS AND SMALL GAME.
