Description
After the Civil War, Remington revolutionized firearm ammunition with a cartridge conversion of its Model 1858 Army in 1869. The metallic cartridge-loading revolver was soon bested by Smith & Wesson’s new topbreak model in 1872 and Colt’s Peacemaker in 1873. Two years later E. Remington & Sons came blazing back with the new Model 1875; it was to become one of the most famous guns of the Old West.
This six gun is now available as a .177 BB/Pellet CO2 revolver. This nickel-plated replica joins the Colt Peacemaker and S&W Schofield No. 3 to create a trio of legendary Western arms in CO2 versions. The Model 1875 bears the Remington name and the classic lines that made it popular with cowboys, lawmen and outlaws alike, including Jesse and Frank James.
The CO2 models have the unmistakable styling evolved from Remington's 1858 Army Model. The Model 1875 loads like a real single action revolver with each BB or pellet cartridge inserted separately into the cylinder chambers through the loading gate on the right side of the frame. (Since the shells are loaded one at a time, speed loaders cannot be used). Once you're fully loaded, this gun is excellent for plinking cans and paper targets in your backyard.
The Remington Model 1875 CO2 revolver pays homage to the old west, and one of the most famous handguns in American history.

I love the Remington’s appearance and general finish. For looks alone, it has always appealed to me more than a SAA or any break barrel pistol.
Things I Would Have ChangedI hate the grip shape, they flair out and are much MUCH too wide the bottom. This is not apparent in the pictures! It looks stupid and is very uncomfortable in your hand! The ivory grip panels look nice but they are super slippery, I plan to wet sand them with a white Scotchbrite pad to dull and roughen the finish a little (this is the same grit as OOOO steel wool). The Crossman cartridges I received look cheap, they do not have a machined finish, but an “as cast” rough appearance. Ditch the heat sealed clear plastic container - it is crazy difficult and a little dangerous to cut open! Include a nice heavy cardboard box with picture and logo on the outside! The sights are completely useless, historically accurate maybe, but completely invisible. I have not tried a Sharpie yet, that may help a little.
What Others Should KnowFit and build quality seems just a little lower than my two Barra 7” pistols (Colt SAA and Smith Schofield). My gun would NOT shoot hard alloy pellets (Umarex Hypermax Field Line 5.2 grain). Those would sometimes jam part way down the hole in the cartridge and not enter the barrel at all. In pushing them out with a coated cleaning rod, I discovered that the inside of the holes is rough. Soft lead pellets will travel past those rough spots, but I doubt that it helps the accuracy at all. I prefer alloy pellets because they travel a lot faster, and they function perfectly in my Barra guns. This gun will not fit in an Allen 13” zipper sleeve like my Barra guns do, so I am using a soft universal tie-to-close pistol rug instead. This is a BIG revolver (mostly due to the fat grips). Of the three guns I mentioned, I much prefer the Schofield, it is delightful, and I plan to add a newly available rifled .177 barrel to it. I doubt that I will shoot the Crossman Remington very much.
Fantastic replica. Very good build quality, especially at this price point. Shoots to point of aim at 10 yards. And the fast shipping option was very fast.
Things I Would Have ChangedNothing, other than the country I live in.
Great finish, precision, and strength in the shots, I really like having this in my collection.
Things I Would Have ChangedI wish it came with a box and not in a cheap plastic
What Others Should KnowI was in doubt if it would be a good purchase, but after I received it, it simply surprised me
Super product in every respect. Great trigger and accurate. Just plain fun to shoot! Always recommend PYRAMYD’s 10 for 10 function test with each purchase!
Things I Would Have ChangedWouldn’t necessarily change anything.
What Others Should KnowPYRAMYD has always been a real pleasure and reliable to do business with for many years!
+Very pretty and shiny like chrome! +Works much like the real thing, eject rod and all. +comes with bb and pellet shells. +Realistic accuracy (aka not that accurate)
Things I Would Have Changed-Not accurate (not a huge downside to me but might be to others)
What Others Should KnowProbably my favorite looking airgun I own. It 's very much like an old revolver, requiring you to load one bullet at a time with a manually revolving cylinder and a ejecting rod, which is fun to use but maybe not the most practical to some. It has BEAUTIFUL ingrained iron sights, though they're kinda useless as this gun is probably the least accurate airgun I own, even with pellets (Fires hard right and high). If you like shiny chrome and old functioning revolvers this is a good one to own. Not recommended just for the looks.
The look, feel, weight
Things I Would Have ChangedThe scratched handle and the I would put the screw on the inside of the handle
What Others Should KnowNo
I like the gun so much. I gave one to each of my sons for their birthdays.
Things I Would Have ChangedMaybe rifle the barrel.
What Others Should KnowIf you want the feel of a western six shooter this is it.
Very well built, with the heft and feel of its big bore brethren. Of all my "Old West" air guns (Schofields and Colt SAAs), this one fits my pig paws the best. Functioning, thus far (about 200 rounds), has been flawless, and I've had no issues using either the BB or pellet cartridges, accuracy has been about the same with either - it's a can killer at 10-15 feet!
Things I Would Have ChangedDitch the plastic packaging...please!
What Others Should KnowGood shootin' cowboy gun!
Solid revolver great design.
Things I Would Have ChangedInstead of Crosman cartridges Don Wesson 715 pellet cartridges works perfectly.
What Others Should KnowFor those that have problems with gun .change cartridges to Don Wesson 715 pellet cartridges. It will work perfectly no jamming. Higher fps.with light pellets study 380 to 400 .

Realistic handling like a real old western revolver. The fun starts by loading the cartridges one by one. Even unloading them is fun.
Things I Would Have ChangedRemove the safety. You will never use it.
What Others Should KnowBroke with less then 500 shots in it. Pulled the hammer back and it snap all the way to the end. Lost all tension. The hemmer is the most used part of gun. They should use better quality materals. So disappointing because a fun gun to handle.
