The Smith & Wesson M29 5" CO2 Airsoft Revolver is an airsoft gun modeled after the famous .44 Magnum Model 29 used in the series of movies about a police inspector who asked people to make his day. Reaching maximum velocities of up to 330 FPS for safe use in the field, this airsoft revolver will provide hours of fun and excitement for plinking or skirmishes.
This airsoft gun is powered by a single 12-gram CO2 cartridge accessed by removing the left side of the grip. The realism of this model is heightened by the fact that the airsoft BBs are first loaded into shell cartridges and then placed into a swing-out cylinder, which rotates using either single-action or double-action operation to help simulate the feeling of a genuine revolver.
The Smith & Wesson M29 Airsoft Revolver features a metal frame with chrome finish to provide an aesthetically pleasing look and feel, in addition to an ergonomic rubber grip with texturing for an improved hold. This is a fully-licensed airsoft version of the powder burning handgun, meaning it includes such details as the Smith & Wesson logo and markings on the grips and body.

I Had a Hard Time Convincing PYAir to Bring This Honey In . Personally I Couldn't Wait To Get My Hands On It !!! The US Market Did Not Have Anything Close To a Revolver Like This , Except The UHC and TDS Plastic Ones that shot under 225 FPS . When I Fist Saw The 8 inch Model of This It was like No Way , Overkill , Wee Wee Envy , Ridiculous along with the Price tag. But The 3.5 was and Is a Top Seller , and Now This Piece Of History ! Carried By Law Enforcement for 3 Decades in cal .44 & .357 This Replica Speaks For Itself ! Spot On Markings , with Well Constructed Hand Grips Like on The Original , with a Full Metal Frame , Barrel and Adjustable Rear Sight . This Revolver will take The WinGun Front Loading Cartridge Shells , which makes it Easier to load from the Front. Mind You This Masterpiece Packs a 350 - 375 FPS and Frankly , in My Opinion Is Geared More Towards The Mature Men Out There ! Buy It ! Get a Nice Holster For It , Respect It , It's YOUR'S

What others should know:Japanese Elite Companies Like Tanaka , and Marushin , even Tokyo Marui have Dedicated Themselves to Put out The Most Detailed and Realistic Replica Pistols and Revolvers within the Last 60 Years . Also Replica Pistol Companies like The Old MGC (Japanese Based) and Dennex have also done a Fine Job Too of Replicating Hand Guns , With All That Said , I Must Give Credit where Credit is Due and Say That This M29 5" Put Out by Umarex /S&W Have Done a Tremendous Job in The Last Year in The Production of Their Pistols ! All That Being Said - Remember To "Keep It Frosty" ! - Pegleg

Overall fit and finish is great. I be had several real model 29s and its very close. Nice gun.
Things I would have changed:The stupid Philips screws on the side plate and rear sight blade a little to tall. It would be nice if we could have the 6 1/2 barrel model.
What others should know:If you want a realistic S&W m29 thats near full weight and looks the part with good accuracy, then this is the way to go.

The typical S&W revolver ergonomics, rubber clad grips, beautiful finish, and the sweet metallic sound when you drop each round in the cylinder.
Things I would have changed:I purchased mine when it came with a nice hard pistol case, box of 50 Co2 cartridges, and a bottle of 3000 .26g bb's. I would change the power level (weak for even game play), and despite the external aesthetics, the quality control for the barrel only, needs vast improvement. You should offer the deal I purchased everyday, and not just"on sale"!
What others should know:The first time I fired this revolver, the supplied bb's had a horrific spin to the right, and very slow. I also tried .20, and .12 gram precision bb's with very little change. The speed of the rounds were noticeably faster as I changed to lighter and lighter rounds, but the accuracy remains horrible for each weight bb. Like I said before, the pistol is gorgeous, but using a bore-llight, the inner barrel wasn't smooth at all! The bore looked freshly drilled (or cast), and with no smooth/precision bore. I'll fix this myself and may continue this review with a performance update along with accuracy comments.
