TenPoint TRX 515 Crossbow Package

The TRX 515 is built very well and has amazing speed and accuracy. That said I did have a couple arrows completely miss the target while shooting, I can only guess it was because the arrow was not seated exactly perfect (I was shooting from a bench). Also, for the very expensive price TenPoint should supply free strings and cables because they are ridiculously expensive and wear out far too quickly…

It's compact and easy to cock and decock. I wish it was more accurate. At 20 yards the grouping is all over. Even after having the bow in a dead sled and using the same arrow it makes no difference. And the string is worn out after 70 shots. Having been a life long resident of suffield, on waterloo rd I'd hope for a better return from one of the few businesses still here. Also you shouldn't have to buy a scope with it. The basic scope that comes with it is quite poor.

everything works very good except the accuracy is not as good as previous tenpoints that I have owned. Very hard on servings, only good for 30 to 30 shots and the serving is worn out and accuracy is terrible. I bought another set of strings and cables from my dealer, and the second string serving only lasted about 35 shots and my accuracy went away again. If Tenpoint could get the servings to last, this would be a great bow.

Built like a tank, silent crank, rubberized exactly where needed, pre-sighted at 20 yards was a huge plus, easy to sight in remaining distances, extremely accurate.

DO NOT BUY! THIS BOW IS A NIGHTMARE. THE TEAM BEHIND THIS BOW HAS NO CLUE WHAT THEIR DOING!

I have had nothing but problems with the cranking system ! shot it for 8 times the first time sighting in scope and no problems 9th time the tiny threaded crank shaft snapped off! had dealer in my area talk with Tenpoint and they tried to say it was over cranked! Wrong! They fixed it for free and again this time shot 12 bolts and it broke again cranking bolt cable to fire!

So far, I love the bow. It is a screamer for sure. It has a scary amount of power. I put my Garmin Xero scope on it and it took a bit to get it dialed in, but now that it is; I would not hesitate to take a 70 yard shot. When sighting it in I was shooting 65 yards to my target and it was high. I missed the target and buried the bolt into a locust fence post 4 inches deep! After getting it dialed in, I can hold 2 1/2" patterns at 80 yards, and am sure it would still pass through a whitetail. My first day hunting with it, I shot a little doe and the bolt went through so fast, I swear it was like I shot the ground without hitting anything at all. I am extremely impressed with this crossbow.

Finally got my TRX 515 sighted in. Four shots at 20 yards & I was in the bullseye. Moved back to 40 yards, first shot, another bullseye. I packed up & came home to wax the string up. What a jewel of a cross bow!! Fast & quiet! I used one bolt that came with it(3) to sight in. Gonna shoot a few broadheads soon & hope they fly well. My only disappointment with this set up is the quiver. I feel at this price tag, they could have put a better one on it. But overall, one happy dude!!
