The new one is great. The one that came with the crossbow fell apart while I was cocking the bow. Look like the set screw was loose and the mechanism fell out of the aluminum portion. Not happy that I had to spend $$ for a second one.
Second hunting trip with bow, hiking about a mile out when I hear something fall. Didn’t see anything on the ground in the dark and it wasn’t until I shifted how I was carrying the bow before I realized what fell. Seems to be a common problem. Purchased another bow for next hunt while waiting for order to be filled by Ten Point. 2nd time I have had to purchase a crossbow this year due to a defective Ten Point product.
The handle comes off its rest too easily. Make sure to keep it in your pocket or backpack while hunting.
The set screw that holds the socket in the crank handle worked loose and fell out. I couldn't find it in the grass so now I have to buy a complete handle. It would at least be useful to sell the set screw and inform us what size hex we need.
October 26, 2024 The crank works fine, but as others have said, it doesn't stay in the bow stock as it should. I knew I should have placed it in my bag but I didn't, and on the 5th hunt she gone! I love the crossbow, but if you carry it to the woods, PUT THE CRANK IN YOUR POCKET OR FIELD BAG.
This is a follow-up to a previous review. I still have concerns for how the crank fits into the stock, but I have to report that Randy from Ten Point responded to my email and did what he could to help me. I really appreciated that. They are a great American company who makes a great product. In the future, I will put a rubber band around the crank handle, carry a backup 1/4" drive in my hunting bag and I will buy another 10 Point in the future. Consider this a review of their Customer Service.
Happy with the turbo s1, not so much with crank handle holder Sucks paying all that money for a replacement, worse yet, They are out of stock, lost mine on second hunt
I don't have the extending handle so you need to watch knuckles when winding. Handle fits into stock but can get caught and pulled out. I use rubber twist tie to prevent losing it.
Love the cross bow. BUT I JUST WENT TO MY STAND AND NO HANDLE. PROBLEM BEING WHEN I TRIED TO ORDER ANOTHER ONE THERE SOLD OUT. Wait all year to hunt and guess I'll have to use a socket.

This is a exact fit looks and Performs just like the original one. I was happy to get original equipment being I lost my handle my 3 time out with my new bow. I lost it in the excitement of tracking my first deer. Just took up bow hunting this year and was not expecting to get a deer.
