Has the look, weighting and feel of the real Gen 3 G-17. I wanted the blowback feature to simulate firing the actual 9mm G-17 pistol. An 18 SSBB magazine is really convenient. The accuracy of the UG-17 is good, but Ive yet to shoot beyond 5yds, and experiential adjustments are required given the fixed sights. It seems to be the right tool for its intended purpose. I also like the slide lock out feature after the last BB is fired.

In the fit and finish department, the UG-17 slide rattles noticeably on the frame. The fit tolerances could be much better without hurting performance IMHO. The directions show a standard Allen wrench being used to set the CO2 cartridge, luckily, I had one in my possession. Later, I figured out that a small, black, L shaped tool was taped to the instruction manual WAS the Allen wrench. So, the Allen wrench was actually included, but it looks nothing like the picture in the manual. The trigger pull is endless, sometimes its balky along the way and considerable force is required to fire the round when you eventually get there. There is no adjustment that is obvious, at least to me. However, that is not something I cannot overcome with more frequent use, but it is nothing at all like the real Glock-17.

My wife and I are new to air gunning. Ive had a Walther CPSport pellet gun made by Umarex, for years, used sparingly and just for fun. Very early in 2020, we attended a four day personal defensive handgun training and safety course where we chose to use Glock-17s based on the reputation of simplicity and reliability. Afterward, I purchased a G17, she, a G-19. We did so because the breakdown of civil society is now unmistakable. We live in a decent area of a city with a very rough reputation that is well earned. Our real Gs are a part of our overall home defense firearms strategy, but getting ammo in CA is near impossible, and Im not wasting inventory on hand. So, range time is now zero, and dry practice is, well, while necessary, is unsatisfying.

These purchases seemed to be a great alternative to real shooting. We are not disappointed. The Glocks we purchased are BB guns and, for the money, they fulfill the goal which was handling regularly a reasonable facsimile of real thing.

Handles well and has a smooth clip. Grip melts into your hand. Feels just like the glock 19 i own. Great for practice shots. Havent had an issue with jaming.

I would change the clip loading Co2. They do provide the right tools to lock them in. But it is small and is easy to miss place. Would love to see them get it to attach somewhere on the clip or removed that style all together see what else they came try out.

Finally able to shoot my Glock 17 Gen 3. I like the fit and feel of this pistol. The blowback certainly adds kick. I was surprised how strong kickback was. In a good way. Trigger action is fine. Smooth. I fired off one at a time. Then as fast as I could. Very smooth delivery. I was able to shoot 75 rounds before the want sufficient air to blowback slide. Which I think is great. When empty, slide locks backward with breech open. Now that IS COOL. Bottom line: love it. Recommend.

I am new to air guns but was surprised how nice this is. It is fun to shoot and works great. I have a "regular" Glock 17 and it is very close, almost hard to tell apart at a glance.

Can't think of anything.

Don't loose the little tool that comes with it to tighten the CO2 cartridge.
