Powered by two 12-gram CO2 cartridges that slip into a compartment neatly concealed by the slide-out buttpad, this rifle will deliver lots of powerful shots from its 8-shot rotary clip.
If looks were all that it took to make airgunners happy, this rifle would do the trick. The rich hardwood stock and forearm are combined with high-quality, blued steel components. But, its beauty isn't just skin deep! They used metal in areas where other manufacturers would use plastic. They even included the metal saddle ring found on the 1894.
Then, there's the super-accurate barrel. It delivers 10-shot groups of 5/8" (center-to-center) at 10 meters. The sights are adjustable, too. The front is adjustable for windage, and the rear is adjustable for elevation. You can even scope the Walther Lever Action with a special base.
The weight, the feel, the size, the way it sits naturally in your hands while you work the lever just like Chuck Connors on The Rifleman...you're gonna kick yourself for not getting this gun sooner!

4 of 4 Walther WALTHER LEVER Reviews
Great rifle, the weight and feel are superb. The rifle is rock steady, the lever action is smooth and fun to cycle. This rifle is amazingly accurate considerilng just open sights. I have been able to shoot some .5" groups consistantly at 10 meters.
Things I Would Have ChangedI would have rather they did not to the stagecoach thing on the receiver. And as stated above address the small amount of slop in the lever. Not a big deal but could be better. A real good shooter and fun rifle.
What Others Should KnowGet a bunch of extra clips. You will be shooting this gun lots.
The weight and size of the gun are just right. Its a fun rifle and the lever action works flawlessly. The accuracy was impressive with iron sights.
Things I Would Have ChangedI removed the hood on the front sight to keep yhe look of the rifle more like the original. The flip out loading port is blued steel and would have looked much nicer in the gold finish. The stagecoach picture is cheesy looking. I would have preffered a plain finish
What Others Should KnowWhen tightening the CO2 cylinders there is no sound when they are pierced, so be carefull not to overtighten
This rifle is a well made replica that definatley fulfills the shooters inner John wayne. The fit and finish on most all of the parts is great, the wood finish is superb and the gold finish and horse and coach detailing really make this rifle stand out from the rest. The accuracy was excellent using only the stock iron sites and I was consistantly able to hit targets smaller than soda cans at 30+ yards The 8 round clips where easy to use and the lever action of the rifle worked just as one would imagine (well).
Things I Would Have ChangedThe lever itself felt a little flimsy and had some side to side slop that served as an anoyance when you took the time to enjoy the novelty of the lever action. Theco2 powerlet assembly was also a bit confusing at first and i couldnthelp but feel like it was an overdesigned feature. A simple one cartridge powersource would have easily sufficed rendering the complicated assembly unnecasary. I also noticed that many times when I would fire I would feel excess co2 blowing up through the top of the clip chamber into my face. This was merely anoying but did tell me that the pellet chamber did not seal so not all of the potential gas was being used to fire the pellet. Aside from the above mentioned quirks I really have no complaints and am overall satisfied with this purchase.
What Others Should KnowThis is a great young gun shooter because of the low velocity and good sites and accuracy. The powerlet assembly is a little complicated until you completley understand how it works but overall the rifle is pleasing and enjoyable to use.

I purchased the Wells Fargo edition. Overall a very nicely finished rifle, as you would expect from Germany. The 8 shot magazine is a slick piece of engineering. Cocking the gun is effortless and the action is smooth and light. I own a Marlin 336 in .30-.30 and I would say this is a 7/8 scale version, lighter and smaller. The brass finish of the Wells Fargo version adds a little distinction although the stagecoach image on the left side is a little goofy. The hardwood stock is finished in a low luster satin, too bad the WF version didn't come with a walnut stock it would really make this gun look outstanding. Accuracy is very good once sighted in was getting one ragged hole at 40 ft with the open sights. No recoil due to CO2 and it's not too loud, nowhere near the report of a 1000 fps springer.
Things I Would Have ChangedThe cocking lever is a little flimsy with some side-to-side play in it. Makes me a little careful when I cock it because it cocks so easily. It seems you could rip the lever off if you get carried away trying to look like Mucous McCain. But by far the only real issue I have is with the flimsy sights. I had to move the front sight way over to the right to get it to shoot straight. It's a dopey way to sight in the gun, just put a fixed front sight and a good rear sight with both windage and elevation micrometer wheels on it and call it a day. Yeah that's not authentic but the current design doesn't cut it.
What Others Should KnowI rated the value for money a 4 because I think the base model is probably a better buy. I like the WF edition just don't see the extra $$$ for it adding up, unless it someday has some collector value. Time will tell the gun should last a long time.
