Don't let a limited air supply and the pain of lugging a refill tank around keep you from extending your hunt. Keep a lightweight spare cylinder on hand for your Evanix Rex .357. Leave your tank behind knowing you have all the shots you'll need for a full day of hunting.

Things I liked: Tank has a nice fit and finish, screws right in, and works (with modification).

Things I would have changed: I have a .357 rex P that started out as a .25, and this tank has a different valve. I have absolutely no way to get support in the U.S. from Evanix and it's a shame as I'd love to give them more of my money for different caliber options. Pyramid Air should verify compatibility. Long story short, I had to re-use the power modded valve from my original short tank. If you intend to buy a Rex, make sure you have a lathe and a mill because Evanix sure won't do anything for those with multi caliber desires.

What others should know: Evanix really needs to offer State side support and options for those that wish to invest in their platforms. Airguns are more than just fun, they are also tools, and to be stuck at .25 with such a capable tool is such a shame. Sure I turn down my own barrels, but I shouldn't have to, and most wont.

  • christopher from USA asked:

Have they changed the design? I had to re-use the valve assembly from my other tank to get it to fit without letting all the air out when installed.

    • christopher from USA:

Seriously, does anyone know? Evanix has no support in the USA, so don't expect to upgrade easily. I turned down my own .357 barrel, it fits and works wonderfully, but it seems that Evanix changed their valve design without telling anyone.

  • lawrence from USA asked:

I have Rex pistol, wonder if this would fit it?

    • Tyler from USA:

If your pistol is a .357 cal pistol, it will work. But if it is a different caliber, it will not work.

  • vavoo from Luxembourg asked:

Hello there! Would this be the one to get if your rifle is the .30 cal?
