Daisy 408 CO2 Pistol
With the Daisy 408 in your hands, you’ve got a great way to hone your shooting skills all day long! Powered by a 12-gram CO2 cartridge, the 408 uses an 8rd rotary magazine to cycle your choice of BBs or .177 pellets—or a mix of each.
The 408 is easy to load, using a switch to tilts the barrel downward, giving you access to the magazine holder which locks in place magnetically. Each package includes two 8rd mags.
You’ll have no trouble getting a bead on your target with the highly visible white-dot sights, and a sure grasp with the 408’s pebble textured grip. Each pistol features a rifled barrel which further aids its accuracy. To top it off, Daisy included a non-standard Weaver/Picatinny accessory rail to mount a laser or flashlight for tactical training.
If you’re looking for an upgrade on an old Daisy spring pistol, or just love the idea of repeating shots in a practical platform, look no further than the Daisy 408.

Things I liked: This is a great little plinking gun. I find it very useful in practicing my form without breaking the bank. The fastest crosman premier 7.9 grain pellet that I shot over my chronograph went 372 fps. The most pellets that I shot on a single canister of co2 was 72. But by the time you get to 72 the pellets have slowed considerably. I will post a picture of what a grouping at 25 yards using crosman premiers looks like. The grouping was shot off hand.
Things I would have changed: Improve the trigger pull. A better trigger will improve the grouping, however I have shot 9mm's and 45's with about the same trigger pull.
What others should know: This is a plastic gun. But it seems to hold up ok.
Things I liked: Shoots very good for a co2 gun. I have only had it for over a month and a half and will not hold CO2. Discharges it every time even when using PellGun Oil.
Things I would have changed: nothing
What others should know: I can't recommend this Gun at this time.
Things I liked: Power, Accuracy, Co2 loading - very easy... Feels great in the hand... easy to load pellets, LOUD!
Things I would have changed: Trigger pull could be a little lighter, but really not an issue as this gun is very accurate indeed! Would like one in .22 version.
What others should know: This is an excellent product from Daisy. I have four daisy pistols and have had no issues with any. None make any hisss when loading Co2! Performance on all 4 is outstanding, and rivals the accuracy and quality of my other more expensive air Guns...

With all the double action only CO2 pistols now, why would Daisey not make their gun a single /double action with a hammer or rear cocking slide like the S&W M&P 45 CO2 pellet pistol. Double action only tosses accuracy out the window. right?
Daisy's made some Great! pistol's in the Past, The "008" that this Gun is Replacing Looks like it'll Do as Well in the Performence dept,.(The 008 was a Fantastic Shooter, Why they replaced it, I don't Know!),,The Best Co2 Pistol I ever Owned was The Daisy 622X,,6x.22 round's @ close to 500fps, over 500 w/ "Alloy", It was "Great"!!, but Daisy discontinued it for some Reason,,,Then the 617X went "Off-Line", followed by the "008", All that was Left was their BB Gun line-up,,So, It's Nice to See they're putting out something that shoots Pellet's @ a Nice m/v. Cheer's, Andy.
