Things I liked: Accurate. Easy to cock. Synthetic stock. Good placement of the safety.
Things I would have changed: Dump the Tru-Glo sights.
What others should know: While I've had the Air Rifle only a few weeks...................It shoots well. The short stock and ease of cocking are why I purchased this one (kids). I think this Air Rifle could benefit from using a scope. The BSA scope I was going to use on it is almost as long as the cylinder, covering up the barrel when broken open. Pyramid Air recommended getting a Bugbuster scope for it. Look for an update, later on (after I get a scope for it).
Things I liked: I received this rifle today and after cleaning the barrel I put just under a hundred pellets through it. What a nice surprise! It seems to be well made with a solid feel and a breech that looks like a Beeman R series rifle. When you shoot it, it gives a solid thunk with just a little spring buzz. I shot some Crosman Premier Lights, JSP Exact, and Vogel Match 4.50mm pellets at 15 feet indoors. Both the Premiers and the Vogel pellets shot 1/4" 5-shot groups. I was already tired before I started so by the time I got to the JSB's I was getting 1 flyer in each group which was definitely my fault. I would expect the wood stock rifle to do just as well. All shooting was done with the gun's iron sights, which are quite good. One note, the Premiers are a tight fit and I used the flat part of my fingernail to make sure they were seated. Finally the trigger, I would estimate a 5 lb break but it was very crisp. In fact, it felt like it was a 2 stage trigger! No complaints on it here.
Things I would have changed: I would like the trigger to be 2-3 lbs but I'm picky. Really, my trigger is fine!
What others should know: I read some reviews where there were complaints that the barrel was hard to break open on some rifles. This is normal! Just give the barrel a little tap with your palm and it will open. I put a drop of oil on the ball bearing in the breach to lube it. It looked a little dry. Definitely clean the barrel before shooting.
Things I liked: This is a nice air rifle for the money and fun to shoot. It seems to be well built. It feels solid in your hands. Not a lot of power, but great for backyard target shooting. I'm pleased with it and would recommended it to a friend. I would also consider other Stoeger air rifles based on shooting this one. I like the stock sights on this rifle as well.
Things I would have changed: The trigger could be a little bit better, but good for the money

What is the best best dovetail to weaver/picatinny rail adapter to use for this rifle? Would the UTG Compensation Mount for RWS Airgun with T06 Trigger work for this as well?
Unknown if there the best but they work. : #PY-A-7424......: OR UTG 11mm-to-Weaver Adapter, Vertical Scope..........
What is the weight of this rifle?
4.2 pounds .
Could you clarify what this gun does. The specifications indicate it is a break barrel pellet gun, kind of like its wooden stock sibling. In the description, however, it says it has a 15 round bb magazine and uses a 12 g co2 cartridge. Is it both or either or?
This is a break barrel (spring powered) 16 lbs of force to cock it . Shoots pellets single shot doesn't use Co2.
