2 of 2 Air Venturi Pellets, .177 Cal Reviews
These are very nicely formed, do not vary greatly in weight or diameter and are clean. I get very good to excellent accuracy from my Crosman 2100 and Model 113 CO2 rifle.
Things I Would Have ChangedAs usual, a screw-on lid.
What Others Should KnowI do not often use the .177 cal. on squirrels as I prefer the superior effectiveness of the .22. However, my Crosman 113 is so very accurate with these that at 20 yards and under, the shot is always precisely able to be placed and the squirrels are dropped instantly by head shots. This pellet also retains velocity very well for a pointed pellet (believe it or not, pointed pellets generally do poorly compared to round nosed designs). This is a very good investment.

Good value for the money, clean, good uniformity. These shoot well in my pistols, but accuracy is not good in my Crosman Vantage rifle - which is why I give only 4 stars. The pointy noses make nice holes in tin cans though with lower velocity pistols. :)
Things I Would Have Changednothing.
What Others Should KnowI tried these because I've been trying to find a pointed pellet that shoots well in a rifle. I think there's a reason you don't see many bullets for real firearms with cone-shaped noses. I think at higher velocities they're just not real accurate. That's been my experience so far with my Crosman Vantage (not a high-end gun, I admit). But round nose pellets provide much better accuracy for me in that rifle. I'll probably try the Air Venturi round nose version. Every gun is different - your mileage may vary.
