    Things I liked:

Light accurate gun could pack all day hunting

    Things I would have changed:

Where the fill port is needs a little more room to get the hose to connect. Bolt is a little hard to pull back.

    What others should know:

It's not the fastest shooting gun but it will get the job done! Plus it comes with one clip. Really like how light it is. And for the money you cant go wrong. Great first pcp gun!

Well MY rifle shoots great! Cant speak for the others. I get some sized groups at 25 yards with .22 JSB Hades 15.89gr pellets. My rifle loves these but hates Crosman premier hollow points. I have already racked up 9 critters ( one being a crow ) humanely! Pyramid air you guys rock!

    Things I would have changed:

Put a steel trigger on it

    What others should know:

This air rifle is Light weight and even though it has a plastic trigger, mine wasnt too bad. I know a lot of people complain about the trigger but mine actually Was actually pretty decent. It was slightly gritty but I will stone The contact points and grease it later on. The accuracy wasnt what I would consider great but was pretty good. I only tried two different pellets . JSB and H&N.And mine liked the H&N The best. I averaged 3/8 of an inch group at 25 yards. Thats not bad. I get about 62 Shots per Fill.

    Things I liked:

Price, Weight, quietness, not pellet picky. Only using 2.2 pumps per shot with my Hill Pump mkII. Single ragged hole groups @ 25 with 13.43 and 14.3 jsb, prefers Sniper mediums past 40yd, and polymag shorts will blow european sparrows into 2 parts @ 20yd. Not as accurate as my huma reg'd p-rod, or as smooth, or as efficient, but is a hint faster with 8 more usable shots.

    Things I would have changed:

    Trigger, shipping padding/protection.

    What others should know:

Mine arrived with the barrel jammed deeply into the side of the box, shroud pushed left, turns out the barrel was bent jus like on the firs, i took the rifle apart and bent the barrel back to straight enough. It groups well and isn't pellet picky. Contrary to the "fixed" power claim, the hammer spring preload is adjustable and I have mine maxed out till it is still able to cock crisply. Trigger needs lightened, not too difficult to do. Bought the rifle and 3 mags, only the mag with the rifle cycled well, the others are much looser and didn't want to line up with the breech well so i opened the slot in the cover to 7mm and the hole in the rear the bolt passes through to 6mm and did the magazine spring mod (bend the spring so that the arm seats harder in the hole in the back of the magazine) and lubed them with a thin coat of silicone chamber oil and reassembled them and now all work good enough, none as smooth as the stock one though. Play with hammer spring tension, it's worth it.

    What others should know:

Stay away from this gun. I've had it for a long time now and have had nothing but trouble with it. I just got it back on Saturday and already on Monday it is not shooting right. This gun has been nothing but a disappointment from day 1.

    Things I liked:

I purchased two in .177 caliber for our club's annual youth day. I particularly liked the fact that they are lightweight, and at the reduced power setting will permitted a very extended string of shots. Although our intended use does not extend beyond 20-30 feet, I was able to consistently nail x ring shots at 75 feet off of a rest. The rifle is easy to hand pump due to the reduced air cylinder volume and does not leak. The rifle power setting is easily adjustable with a 3/16 allen wrench and I reduced it from the factory mid-point setting of 773 fps to 630 fps as measured by my chrony. The magazines are standard Benjamin Marauder magazines which work very well and are very reasonably priced. I bought these air rifles on a special sale for $239 and they each came with a tin of 500 ultra magnum 10.5 domed Crosman pellets and spinning targets. Even at the regular pricing of $299 this has got to be one of the more amazing bargains out there, and I do also own a Umarex Gauntlet!

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger. And I did it myself. I swapped out the trigger spring and adjusted the sear let off--there is good information online how to do this. The trigger pull went from well over five lbs to almost three lbs according to my trigger pull gauge. I could have made the trigger weight even lower but I did not want to make it too low for our particular use. It is possible to install a better trigger or an entire assembly, but for the cost of a screw and a ball point pen spring, I ended up with a trigger that I would be perfectly happy to use myself. Reducing the trigger pull weight also positively affected the cocking action for the bolt, not that I found it difficult to perform this before I modified the trigger.

    What others should know:

Ruth in Pyramid Air's sale department ably assisted me in the selection of these rifles and very patiently helped me sift through my options given our particular needs requirements. I wholeheartedly commend her professional expertise and friendly willingness to spend time with me. I will definitely come back to her for more air rifle goodies in the future. Also, I thought that I had an issue filling the air rifles but Stacy in technical support department squared me away, and even sent me two free replacement quick disconnect female probes by overnight courier. That is amazing customer service and why you should purchase from Pyramid Air. Bravo!

    Things I liked:

Nice and light easy to shoot of hand, but it takes about 500 shots to get good accuracy and shoots the best with crosman Premier pointed 14.3

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing relay except a longer cocking arm

    What others should know:

Break in with any junk pellet you have then switch to Premier 14.3 and clean the barrel before you start

    Things I liked:

This is the one air rifle that is ideal for me: low cost, quality feel, quiet, light weight, accurate, customizable trigger (via some easy modifications), regulated, variable power to suit my preferences, location of the safety, and the basic simple look of a working class rifle. My fascination with PCP airguns includes that sense of connection you feel to a tool that can be personalized or customized to your own taste. I liked it so much that I wanted to buy another one, until I realized (duh) that it would be superfluous to do something like that. This is a gun that legitimizes a hobby that pushes the financial limits of someone like me (retired).

    Things I would have changed:

One thing: The butt plate is slippery plastic instead of soft rubber. I put a strip of rubberized tape on it, so it is much less likely to slip on a smooth hard surface when it is leaned against a corner.

    Things I liked:

Very quiet and accurate, lightweight a big plus, my 1st pcp and love it. Not the most powerful but perfect for squirrels at 30/40 yards. .25 cal is in my future. This is in my opinion perfect backyard plinker and pest eliminator. Already lightened trigger, utg scope. Dime size groups at 25 yards with jsb hades, easy to pump up, takes less than 10 minutes to go from 1500 psi to 2800. Stiff bolt action at first but smooths out after 100/200 shots. Never leaked air. Getting 731fps with jsb hades. Pyramid air is the best to buy from. Always fast shipping and packaging is done to reduce shipping defects.

    Things I would have changed:

Lighter/adjustable trigger(I would pay a little more for this) but Im a tinkerer so no big deal for me. A little more power but good enough.

    What others should know:

Changed trigger return spring with lighter one from pen and slightly bent trigger sear spring for less tension. Definitely helped. Stock was loose fitting had some slop between stock and air res. Added washer under bolt so it would tighten

    Things I liked:

Light weight. Accurate. Relatively inexpensive. Shoots forever on 1 fill of air. Has very consistent velocity over 90 shots. ( that's 1 fill of air ).

    Things I would have changed:

Only thing I did not like. The factory trigger. And the cover for the air fill nipple is a press on piece of plastic. It's going to wear out. Should be a metal threaded cap.

    What others should know:

Bought this for a light weight, multiple shot plinker for my wife. Luckily she liked the marauder pistol with stock better. Cause I love this rifle. I replaced the factory trigger with a Gen 1 Marauder trigger group. And put a 2.5-15 Athlon scope on it. I made no other changes. The regulator is awesome. 90 shots on 1 fill. Start at 3000 psi down to 1100 psi. 4 shots ( at 2500 psi ) were 720's. The other 80 shots were all 700 to 705 fps. With Crosman Premier hollow point 14.3 grain pellets. In my rifle. Premiers grouped about 1 inch at 25 yds. H&N Baracuda Hunter. 18.21 gen. 3/4 in at 25 yds. H&N Sport. Sniper Magnum. 17.90 grain. 3/8 in at 25 yards. 1 in or less at 50 yards. 650 fps muzzle velocity. Just over 16 ft pounds energy. Not a screamer. But so accurate! In conclusion. Good value. Easy on air consumption. Light weight. Accurate. Love this rifle!

Not a thing.Metal trigger group is nice, but not for this price point.

    What others should know:

Everything works great.Quiet and Accurate. I guess there's no single shot tray. At least mine didn't come with one.Just one ten shot magazine. So buy a spare.Looks nice even the gun bluing is good.I was impressed. I'm 65 yrs old live in AZ.Have too many airguns and firearms. And just love the airgun products of today.Almost forgot;mine is in .22 cal.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy, shot count, it's regulated, light weight, hand pump friendly, it's very quiet and backyard friendly.

    Things I would have changed:

Ship it with two magazines and a single shot tray, the trigger....it could be much nicer. An easily adjustable power level knob would be nice also. I would love an affordable bullpup based on the Fortitude!

    What others should know:

I bought the Fortitude in .177 based on its accuracy, power level ( it's not a very high powered PCP) and shot count. The limits of my plinking/pesting activities across my property is 23 yards and the lower power of the Fortitude fit the bill nicely. It however was not my first choice. The Nova Liberty was and has more features for the same price....ultimately I chose the Fortitude based solely on customer support from Pyramid and Crossman, as well as the availability of parts should the need arise. The stock is hollow and the ping of the hammer spring echoes in my ear. High mount scope rings do not allow for a proper cheek weld. My rifle is not overly pellet picky and the Crossman 10.5 ultra magnums that shipped with it are plenty accurate enough across the limits of my yard. I would definitely buy again.

    Things I liked:

I like the accuracy, weight, noise level and magazine. Major improvements over the Gen 1. Its a tack driver with JSB 15.8 pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Fix the barrel band. When my gun came i unboxed it. I picked it up and it made a clanking sound. The barrel band has a 1/8 inch gap all the way around it. When you shake the gun it sounds like a pocket full of change. I contacted Pyramydair. They said it didn't sound right. I contacted Crosman. They said it was a full floating barrel. True the barrel is full floating but its the barrel shroud that is banging against the air tube. Long story short. A zip tie slid between the barrel and shroud solved the banging noise. Accuracy is fantastic.

    What others should know:

The barrel is the same thread as the Marauder. If you have a moderator that fits a Marauder you can use it on the fortitude. Slide a zip tie between the barrel and shroud in front of the barrel band to get rid of the clanking noise. Its a great gun for the money. I put a TKO22 half shroud/moderator on it. Its real quiet and very backyard friendly.

    Things I liked:

Very lite weight for hunting. Accurate right out of the box with the correct pellet. Very quiet

    Things I would have changed:

I wish the trigger was better right out of the box.

    What others should know:

I could think of a lot of things that could make it better in comparison to a high end pcp. It is a 285.00 entry level pcp with a full shroud and a regulator. I did the trigger omg on mine and I am very happy. 3/4 inch groups at 50 yards with H+N Sniper lites isnt bad.

This rifle is a great value. it's worth every penny. It's like a more affordable Marauder (which is a great value itself).

    Things I would have changed:

Many of us still like shooting with open sights, and I wish it was an option on the Fortitude. I haven't found any open sights that work well, using the full sight radius the rifle affords. Also, the slippery butt plate is an accident waiting to happen, but is easily corrected by some judicious application of skateboard tape, or similar material.

    Things I liked:

Price Point for Regualted PCP, the fact you can modify / tinker to your liking.. Very quiet and backyard friendly, Shot count and accuracy

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger is plastic and pretty crappy.. . Stock is cheap and hollow .. The Air Tube could have a better finish and the shrould was a bit rough, could also see marks from what ever apparatus manipulates the rifle during the manufacturing process. No big shock for the price point.

    What others should know:

I had the Gen 1 and yes it was horrible.. This Gen 2 is MUCH better.. If you are looking for an entry level PCP and you find the Gauntlet to be a complete Eye Sore then this may do the job. Plenty of inexpensive after market mods for trigger and stocks to replace the OEM ones.. Lot of the Benjamin Discovery Mods pertaining to the Trigger and Stock.. Disco and Fortitude have the same trigger group and tube size. My Eyeballs tell me that Crosman reclaimed all the GEN1 stock that was at retailers, modified the hammer spring added adjustability to them and then stamped a G2 on the end of the serial#.. If you own a G2 you know what I am saying...... the 'G2' is roughly a mm lower then the rest of the Serial #'s digits..... Either way it works and good value for the $$$
