    Things I liked:

Comfortable stock, great scopemount, very accurate. I have parkinsons,so it's very hard for me to stay on target. Yet I'm still getting 3/4" groups at 20 yds.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger. I already installed a CDT GRTIII

    What others should know:

Rifle is haeavy ,10 lbs. w/scope but I feel this increases damping and helps accuracy.

    Things I liked:

Accuracy. Ten shots with 1/2 inch spresd at 30 ft is the best I've ever done except with the Crosman 2250. But this accuracy doesn't come with a loose as goose hold. With a loose hold a five inch group was standard. I held the gun as if it were a .500 nitro express facing a charging lion - it was with a "death grip", as tight as I could hold it against my shoulder and squeezing the grip as tight as I could. That loose as goose stuff is eroneous information for springers and nitro guns as far as I'm concerned.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger. This is the worst trigger I've ever encountered. I wonder how Crosman would ever accept such horrible work. Completely unjustified for a great company like this.

    What others should know:

The Scope is about as bad as the trigger. You could use it to project the image of the sun to count sunspots this year, otherwise put it on a marshmallow shooting toy.

    Things I liked:

looks and specs by reviews,....gun was accurate to 15yrds but went south IMMEDIATELY! very short range gun.

    Things I would have changed:

$20 tune was a severe RIP!!! the barrel/stock/scope were easily seen OUT of alignment. how could their tech not see this?.,.....

    What others should know:

this gun is super quiet, but the barrel is pointed to the right. IT IS NOT THE SCOPE!!!! a string line from both sides of the stock shows a 1/8 diff!!!!! to the end of the barrel. too much money for this much bunk!! sending mine back for a refund as i type!!!

Cross Premier Hollow Points are great with this rifle!!!

    Things I liked:

Overall quality of the gun and scope, nitro piston powerplant is much superior to spring piston, I have have owned both. I also own the NPXL rated at 1500 fps - very nice rifle - the Trail NP is much easier to cock.

    Things I would have changed:

Bit more adjustment of the trigger, although I find the trigger very good. A bit shorter length of the pistol grip would make it easier to fit a case.

    What others should know:

I also have its big brother the NPXL - I find the Trail NP just as accurate. The most accurate pellets I find for either of them are the crosman ultra mags. I have a 50' indoor range and using a rest (58 and not as steady as some youngsters) can get 1.5" groups with either the NPXL or the Trail NP. I expect to use the NP Trail most of the time other than larger for rabbits or chucks then the extra power of the NPXL will be handy to have. The Trail NP is significantly lighter that the NPXL which is a plus. I highly recommend Pyramid they stand behind their products - excellent customer service.

    Things I liked:

Lots of good information at Pyramyd Air.

    Things I would have changed:

The Benjamin Trail is not well balanced for unbraced hunting. Rather like free hand hunting with a bull barreled match grade 22 rimfire.

    What others should know:

My first airgun. Purchased to control sparrows that drive Martins and Blue birds out of their nests. Wanted something with less lethal range than a 22 rimfire. I will need a bench or bipod to hunt from.

    Things I liked:

This Benjamin rifle is probably my favorite airgun in my collection, its smooth and easy break barrel makes it nice for shot after shot enjoyment the accuracy is good as long as you do your part in the equation.

    Things I would have changed:

Its weak link in my experience is the trigger its to heavy long creepy etc. I changed mine with an after market.

    What others should know:

I've taken afew birds with this gun and destroyed alot of ex-rings out to 26 yards its quiet which helps so much for backyard shooting.

    Things I liked:

This a great little gun! Well worth the money. I really like the scope that came with it. Sure its not a $1000 Leupold but you didn't pay $1000 for it did ya...=). Easy to do holdovers if you understand all that. Great calculator on Hawke scopes web site if you wanna really dial in your shooting for wind, pellet weight, ETC. The only thing u need to know that you don't already is what ur gun cronos at per that pellet. I was able to talk my local gun shop into letting me crono mine with their unit and it still was shooting at about what they tested it at when they did the 10 point check... Great service BTW I recommend it. Find a pellet the it likes and stick with it. Don't go buying 5 different kinds for hunting, plinking, ETC. A flat nose pellet will kill a squirrel just as dead as a hollow point and so on... I got it for those damn urban tree rats and let me tell ya, It does the job! It also does pretty good for target shooting also. Yes its not an Olympic style gun but we didn't buy one either. Less than an inch at 35 yards is easily attainable. Love shooting it almost as much as real guns IE with gun powder ETC...=) Would highly recommend!

    Things I would have changed:

OK I'll say it. The trigger sucks! Why Crosman couldnt spend a little more time on it I don't know. Id recommend the Da Tuna trigger or taking out that ridiculous extra spring and staging device. I don't hold any responsibility for you doing this and it will void your warranty so save the factory parts just in case! Once u get the trigger the way u want it it shoots great. That's my only beef with the gun!

First air gun--but I like it a lot. Great new sport for me

Probably weighs eight pounds, maybe more. Could be much lighter. But I like it a lot and will own several more before long.

I like that it has a scope you can actually use unlike the scope that came with my Benjamin Titan

    Things I would have changed:

adding a sling in the box would have been a nice touch

    What others should know:

less than 300 pellets through it so far and it is starting to settle in, WAY more accurate than the Benjamin Titan I had owned

    Things I liked:

Feels like a real gun it's heavy

    Things I would have changed:

The scope it needs a better scope and the trigger ,you have pull way to long but there is a trigger in the after market I will get it latter and revie the gun with it then

    What others should know:

It takes about 250 pellets too break it in so don't try to sight it in until then you will just go mad. Sight it in on sand bag on a bench with multiple brands of pellets each trail likes there own pellet mine likes air talons but my friends likes the cheap gamo hunters that's just wate troops good

    Things I liked:

This gun is awesome for this price range! Very quiet and accurate for a break barrel. Easy to cock, my 6 year old cocks it after a couple of days of training. He shoots the eyes off bugs with this thing too. Says it looks like a army gun. He is right! Everyone loves the looks and heavy feel.

    Things I would have changed:

Had to change out the trigger of course.

    What others should know:

It does have recoil so be sure to tighten down all nuts and bolts. A little blue loctite is a must. In order to be accurate with this gun and all springers you MUST use the artillery hold!

    Things I liked:

(.22 AW) Ease of use, quiet report, nice scope, perfect weld and feel of the stock, Plenty of power for plinking at all ranges, and can easily knock out a squirrel at 25(so far) yards.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger (of course); a tad heavy; accuracy, but given that i can't truly bench a springer/np, I'll happily chalk this up to myself.

    What others should know:

A great intro into Air rifles, at least for me,being new to air rifles. I'm typically a rimfire shooter, but I've fallen in love with the idea of cheaply being able to shoot just about anywhere I choose, and this rifle has given great power and accuracy for the money. A solid package! if you're new like i was,get the PPD with the pellet pen (which would make loading far easier, especially in hunting/varminting situations) and the crosman premiers, which after 1500+ shots, is the best I've found so far. After much more research, And plenty of info from the great team at PA(thanks guys)I'm now working toward a marauder and a condor.

    Things I liked:

Not enough room to tell you how much fun this rifle is!From novice to pro, this rifle is FUN! Solid built but lite enough to field carry all day, smooth cocking, good scope that's easy to mount,ACCURATE,good power, not over priced, very consistant.Once past first stage of trigger,smooth/short/crisp break. Not overly loud, almost no knock.

    Things I would have changed:

Would have liked open sight option with see-thru mounts for scope, but definatly not a major issue.Little higher cheekweld, but i adapted that.

    What others should know:

Added Gamo Varmit Lite/Laser(but removed laser since not needed for vermin control!)and LOVE this set up!Will NEVER buy anything without the NitroPiston!!AWESOME! After a little variance through the break in stage, scope zeroed easy and holds-real nail driver with excellent flbs downrange!!

    Things I liked:

The build quality of the rifle is excellent. The scope is very clear. The operation is smooth. THe power is tremendous. It is just a beautiful looking gun.

    Things I would have changed:

The trigger is a bit long on the throw. If it doesn't improve- there is an excellent replacement available.

    What others should know:

The cocking effort was more than I expected. I have previous elbow problems- and had to return the rifle. I thought the gas cylinder models were easier to cock. I'm older and of thin build...after 15 shots I had to quit each night. Not the guns fault, but be aware this isn't for someone with a weak arm! I had 250 to 300 shots through the rifle, and it wasn't quite broken in yet...still threw wild shots. I traded for a less powerful model. I'm very pleased with how simple Pyramyd Air made the exchange. They even paid return shipping. A first class company. It would probably be worth it with this model to pay the extra cost to have Pyramyd Air test fire the rifle and sight in the scope.

    Things I liked:

This is a wonderful, powerful weapon. The accuracy has improved since the break-in. It will easily shoot out beyond 50 yds into a 1 inch bullseye.

    Things I would have changed:

Automatic safey when the gun is being cocked.

    What others should know:

Because this is a piston gun you may have ti use both hands when cocking it. Very powerful piston.

    Things I liked:

Great looking rifle! Fit and feel are very good, the grip is comfortable, it shoulders easily and the cheek rest is a good fit and feel also. Lots of power for small game hunting, even in .177. I live that it comes with a Weaver rail, they are aa must for heavy recoil spring/gas piston rifles to eliminate scope slippage.

    Things I would have changed:

Offer a .20 version....PLEASE!!! Also offer it as a "no scope included" version for those that already have a scope to use or that want a different scope. A better trigger, the factory trigger has a very long stroke and is heavy.

    What others should know:

This is a heavy cocking and recoil rifle, I don't recommend it for beginners wanting a gas piston rifle or for just a "plinking" rifle. When mounting your scope use a very small dot of Loc-Tite Blue on your base and ring screws because they WILL shoot loose due to the heavy recoil.

    Things I liked:

Inexpensive but powerful .22. Super quiet, but more than enough power for varmint hunting. Very accurate, at least in my backyard range.

    Things I would have changed:

Open sights, please! Thank you for including a scope, but I would have liked the option of open sights.

    What others should know:

This was my first "adult" air rifle. I bought it about six months ago. I enjoyed shooting it so much that I now have half a dozen air rifles and I've got my eye on several more. This was a great way for me to start this new hobby.

    Trigger needs to be softer

    What others should know:

Benjamin did this right with they're rail-gear mounting system. I had a Gamo Silent Whisper and I couldn't sight the scope for the life of me. (Due to the poor mounting system). It's a little heavy but all it takes is one shot. I'm taking out chipmunks from 60 to 80 yards. BUY THIS GUY!

    Rating 5.05.0 5.0

    Things I liked:

I like weight and feel of this rifle! The weight is a bit on the heavy side, but it keeps you steady for those long range targets. I don't have any pictures uploaded, but this rifle shoots excellent 1 inch groups at 50 feet with Crossman Hollow point pellets and can shoot up to 100 yards with no wind! It is a great choice in .177 to complete my set with a Benjamin Train NP Hardwood in .22 caliber. Both are excellent shooters and depending on what you want to shoot both will hit targets with lethal accuracy!

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would change on this rifle and the Hardwood is the scopes. They're great scopes, but I would much rather have a better quality scope on these great rifles.

    What others should know:

Just that the first shot is always the loudest, shots after that are nice and quiet.
