    Things I liked:

This gun was so much more than I expected. First, it really is beautiful. The weight is perfect, the bluing is flawless and he fit and finish is shockingly good. It has been a long time since I have had a gun the I just love to hold in my hands as much as this pistol.

    Things I would have changed:

If there were a way to eek out a few more FPS maybe. Some replacement wood grain or stag grips would be great.

    Things I liked:

Looks real, feels real, well balanced; and a lot of power

    Things I would have changed:

Add carved bone gripes would be nice

    What others should know:

No, it's about as perfect as an air gun can get.

    Things I liked:

looks real and the fit and finish is perfect.Would buy again in a second and may buy more in other finishes.

    Things I would have changed:

Wish hammer would fully close but no big deal it is not a firearm.

    What others should know:

co2 cylinder goes empty if left in the gun 1 day unlike the Umarex Colt 45 or any other co2 handguns I have. I do not leave cylinders in any of the guns more than 1 day. maybe it's me.

    Things I liked:

This is the most realistic, true to authentic, reproduction I've ever owned. Finish, weight, and handling are tremendous. Very accurate. What a blast to shoot. 5" groups off hand at 25'. Waiting for my order of extra shells to arrive.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing

    What others should know:

Bought two at the same time on back order. They shipped out the same day they were received by Pyramyd Air. Arrived in time for my sons birthday party (45 yrs old) This was the highlight of the party.

    Things I liked:

    The looks, feel, realism.

    Things I would have changed:

I'd like for the hammer to sit down against the frame. Make the extra bullets more affordable and available at local stores. The price plus shipping costs is pretty steep. I'd like to see the "Ranger" finish version offered with the "wooden" handles. It's irritating so few were made and we never had a chance to own one!

    What others should know:

The 1st one I bought locked up when rotating the cylinder and cocking. I sent it back and Pyramyd replaced it as soon as they could (THANKS!). The 2nd one works perfectly. The bullets that came with the 1st gun held the BBs more firmly. The 2nd one doesn't have tiny ridges at the back and the BBs sometimes fall out before they can be inserted in the chamber. There are a couple very minor blemishes in the finish, but aside from that, it's awesome.

    Things I liked:

This gun is so exactly like my Colt .45 it is incredible. It feels, loads, and handles just like my "real" gun. Except that I can practice with this one all day long for pennies. The accuracy is astonishing....once I found the site window and "squeezed" my shots off just like I do with my real gun, I was putting all six shots, at 50 feet, in the bull's-eye just left of center I could cover with a dime. I am so impressed with this gun I am going to buy the nickel plated one with a left hand holster ( I am ambidextrous, thank goodness)....I am a great fan of the single action and this is a home run no matter how you score it !!!!

    Things I would have changed:

what is there to change? my only thing is I wish they would give a choice of handles....walnut grips would really give it more realism. my real gun has staghorn grips (handles)...if I had those on this gun I would hardly be able to tell them apart. The only thing I would really like to see is this same gun with pellets instead of BB's.

    What others should know:

The gun is all metal just like the real one so you have to keep it lightly oiled to keep rust from getting in or on.....treat it like you would any other gun....it deserves it !! Be sure and get more "bullets" so you can fill your gun belt loops and be ready to go.

    Things I liked:

The best Peacemaker replica yet. Great finish . Solid, I like me a revolver with some heft

    Things I would have changed:

Free spin cylinder, hammer fully down position. Blue model should have at least ,an optional case colored finish and other grip options. Need the shorter 4 5/8 gunfighter barrel length and long 7 1/2 incher. Should be standard with extra shells as well as nickel ones and a package of a gunbelt and 25 shells

love the fun of shooting this gun. size and weight makes this gun feel real. looking forward to taking it to our 4th-6th grader campout at church. the boys are going flip out.

    Things I would have changed:

    need more cartrigdes.

    What others should know:

triger pull very light. will fire when 1/2 cocked. smooth bore makes it not as spot on as it could be. still held very good grouping. shot at least 14 rounds on 1st co2. you are going to love this gun!!!!

    Things I liked:

Looks and works pretty much like the real thing. You can even fan the hammer! The hammer also has a simulated spring loaded firing pin. I'm getting a holster and cartridge belt for this baby. Maybe even a two-gun rig eventually?

    Things I would have changed:

The Colt "Snake" logo should not be on this 1873 replica. That symbol was developed when the .357 Magnum Python came out much later in the 1950s. I wish it was a pellet firing / rifled barrel airgun. I would like a "Palladin" version with the chess piece horse logo on the grips. "Have Gun Will Travel"

    What others should know:

First revolver I got leaked CO2, but Pyramyd sent a good working replacement as soon as stocks came in.

Everything I Love! This is a pure beauty that would probably fool the average Joe...the looks, build quality, and accuracy are 1st rate! If U R a fan of cowboy anything, but this revolver.

    Things I would have changed:

    nothing!

    What others should know:

This is one for the collector and or shooter...get this pistol and U won't be disappointed; just a pure looker and shooter; my 7 and 11 yr old were taking out 2 liter bottles @ 15-20 feet; my 7yr old, I helped steady the revolver since it is heavy for him, and he was hit the bottles no problem! Get It!

This pistol has a great look. It has the heft of the real thing. The cartridge loading also feels authentic.

    Things I would have changed:

Have spare cartridges available for sale. OK for plinking but continually shoots left with no sight adjustment.

    Things I liked:

I received this gun today and opened up the box and was very impressed with this gun. The pictures do not do it justice. the finish is probably the best of any BB guns I have owned. The look, feel and weight is just right. It fits the hand perfect, just like the real Colt. Cock the hammer and listen to the "click, click, click" and it sounds like a real single action army. I've already put three co2 cartridges thru the gun and so far it has performed flawlessly. The attention to detail on this gun is just about perfect.

    Things I would have changed:

As others have said it would be nice if the hammer sat flush. Although it appears that, due to the design of the gun, if the hammer did sit flush it would be right up against the co2 release valve which this could cause(as with a real single action army) the hammer to accidentally misfire a BB if the hammer was hit. It would have be nice if they had made the gun field strip-able like the real pistol. I do hope that at some point they will sell spare wood grain grips.

    What others should know:

The markings on the barrel aren't as bad as I thought they would be. They are visible but they blend in really well. They're no where near as bad as the pistols that are painted black with white lettering. I measured the cartridges and they appear to be about the size of a .38 cartridge. Something to keep in mind if you plan on (as I do) buying a cartridge belt and holster and fill up the belt with spare cartridges. This is the six-gun, Peacemaker, shootin' iron I've always wanted since I was a kid watching the old black&white western reruns, Gunsmoke, Maverick, Bat Mastersen, Rawhide on TV. Don't wait, get one! You won't regret it.

The look, the heft, the balance. Its true to the Colt SAA pattern revolver.

    Things I would have changed:

Make it so the hammer is flush with the recoil shield.

    What others should know:

Try different makes of BB's to achieve the best accuracy/

    Things I liked:

The attention to detail is amazing. This pistol even has the offset wire trigger of the original l873 SA Colt. About the only detail missing is the 3 screws in the frame above the trigger guard. A Collectors Colt SA at a fraction of the cost.

    Things I would have changed:

I would have the hammer close fully when empty. The frame Colored case hardened.

    What others should know:

You must have the safety set on fire to pull the hammer back to a l/2 Cock to remove empty shells for reloading or cock the hammer.

Looka & feel. Yhr gun is a very good replica of the SAA. it shoots pretty much to point of aim. The rebounding hammer looks like the firearm at quarter cock

    Things I would have changed:

nothing. I like it the way it is.

    What others should know:

If you like SAA's you will like this gun. Buy one.

    Things I liked:

This gun feels great. It has heft and feels solid. If you love the Colt SAA you will appreciate the feel - it just feels right. My son saw this and now thinks it is his! Now they just need to make a Winchester 1873 to go with it!

    Things I would have changed:

Wish they could have figured a way for the hammer to close completely, but this is a minor point.

    What others should know:

This is not a target airgun. It was more accurate out of the box than I expected, but it is really a plinker/fun gun. And it is a bunch of fun!!!
