Very realistic.Blow back makes it feel like the real thing.
Things I would have changed:Sights are hard to see,had to paint mine.
What others should know:After 2 cylinders the pistol has begun to auto fire.Did not get to shot it enough to find out how accurate it is.As I live in Canada I suspect the warranty process would be cost prohibitive however it makes a beutiful wall hanger.

I first starter with the Legends P08 non-blowback pistol, then I find the blowback so I exchange the gun through Pyramyd Air(great company)I found this gun to be the best in my collection, shoot straight with a nice blowback action.Fit and finish absolute A plus at this low price.
Things I would have changed:nothing
What others should know:This is a great replica and if you have the Tanfoglio Witness 1911 two super guns from WW1.I'm going to display them together.Buy this gun before they are out of them or the price go up!!PS I have a banner from a balloon squadron from 1917,I think I will use it as a background?

Its weight, the toggle, the accuracy, and the stay open on last BB out.
Things I would have changed:A notch to hold back the BB follower while loading BB's in the magazine.
What others should know:It's a great gun and fun to play with.

Darn near everything, loading the BB's.....hay Tanfoglio buy one of these and see how it should be done. Weight of the gun, toggle, The general feel of this gun is just tops. Only reason I gave it 4 stars on accuracy is it is 29f outside and you just can't really test like that. If it does shoot as well as the TANF. 1911 I will be a happy camper.
Things I would have changed:Plastic grips....If I have to gripe about something this would be it, they are a HUGE draw back to what otherwise is a fantastic feeling gun....they make it feel cheap. The one area where your hand is seems to be the one area on the gun they missed. Perhaps some filling with epoxy or something will rid the gun of the plastic-ie feel I don't know. I got 3 magazines from the gun before it went dead. Not too bad....remember the outside temp. Not a fantastic shot count but for what this gun is doing you really can't go wrong. I also do not care for the lettering on the bottom of the barrel, yea I know it has to go somewhere....make the printing in a dark gray to get past the lawyers ;)
What others should know:Really is this a gun you are going to go out and hone your skills with....nope, are you going to use it for CCW practice, drawing practice, shooting in general practice.....no. You are going to buy and shoot this gun for one reason and one reason only....it is fun. FUN. That is it....and it excels in the fun area.
Personally it is really just a fun gun to shoot that has no other real value...you can justify a Tanfoglio 1911 as a practice for your 1911 carry guns, draw practice for your PPC shooting....this not so much....it is just a cool gun that works just fantastic.

Being all metal, this pistol has good weight and balance. The blow-back action gives it more realism to the original when shooting. The trigger pull was extremely light and very touchy. Fit and finish were exceptional for a pistol in this price range.
Things I would have changed:I was somewhat disappointed in the plastic grips. While they felt good in the hand, wood or hard rubber would have contributed to a much better feel and not sound so hollow.
What others should know:I was only able to get 40 shots from a single CO2 canister and that was true when a second gas tube was loaded. I thought when I ordered this pistol it was strictly a semi-automatic. However, mine also fired in full automatic mode. This may have been due to the extremely sensitive trigger action. Perhaps the rapid fire was caused by my not fully releasing the trigger between shots. I would be interested to learn if other owners of this model had a similar experience.

realistic feel ,and blowback toggle action. Liked the non blowback version ,but the toggle was screaming for movement ,and here it is
Things I would have changed:optional wood grips ,should ship with 2 mags. Would sacrifice for fewer shots and more power
What others should know:A must buy ,this and the 712 should pave the way for more options like longer barrels ,shoulder stocks,

Showed it to an owner of the real McCoy and even he was impressed with the quality and physical likeness of this to the original Luger P-08. He did a field strip of the gun and aside from provisions made for a .177 BB compared to a 9mm cartridge,he was again impressed. Feel and heft seems great, visual finish is nice too.
Things I would have changed:I knew that the blow back feature was going to suck up a lot of CO2, ....and boy does it. By the end of middle of the second clip (30-35 shots)the bb's were visible to the eye as they exited the gun, and the blow back feature and firing shock to the hand was noticeably less. I got a 10 for 10 test when I ordered my gun and 250-280 fps was the results. Pretty darn slow...even with a fresh CO2! Come on Umarex, a little more uuumph please! I can throw rocks this fast!
What others should know:This gun is _very_ sensitive to BB quality. Avanti precision ground BB's were the only ones I could get to work at all. I tried three others and I could not get a full clip without jam after jam after jam. Would be nice to not have to use a Allen wrench to install the CO2 cartridge too. The gun has a nice "wow" factor, but as a shooter is gets old pretty fast because it is a so so shooter. Certainly not very accurate either. Get ready to use a lot of Kentucky windage to hit anything with it. Getting "close" is the best you can expect at anything beyond 25-30 feet. Umarex claims a "danger distance" of 275 _yards_.... .....ha!...hardly! As a gun to look at, hold and fondle,I give it a 9 out of 10. As a shooter, I give it a 3 or 4 out of 10. Not sure if I would buy this again without some improvements.

The build quality is very good the pistol has a nice feel and balance. The trigger is extremely nice expecially for a gun in this price range. Accuracy is decent mine seems to shoot to the left slightly. The blowback works very well and the toggle locks open after your last bb. I also like that the piercing uses an Allen wrench so there is nothing dangling below the grips. I also like the texture for the slider to install bb's it's much easier to hold in place than most.
Things I would have changed:I wish the warning label was printed black the white stands out. I am only getting about 30-35 hard shots per C02 it takes about 45 shots to empty a C02 the last 10 air fairly weak. Lastly I would have purchased a second clip but $40 is a bit extreme.
What others should know:This is a very fun to shoot piece of history at a very reasonable price. Not a gun I will shoot every day but I will enjoy it when I do.

Everything about this are pistol is great.Worth the money.Amazing realism, great accuracy for a small smoothbore barrel.
Things I would have changed:Nothing
What others should know:The blowback toggle action is very cool and snappy , when the CO2 gets low you can get a few more shoots but it wont have enough power to cycle the action.

This is an excellent replica of a P 08 Luger. The size and weight are correct. The working toggle and blow back are a hoot! This pistol is accurate and a lot of fun.
Things I would have changed:Nothing it's great.
What others should know:Don't over tighten the CO2 cartridge you may loose gas. The pistol uses a lot of gas to cycle the toggle so make sure that you buy more.

Things I would have changed:There should be better quality control,I ordered one with an extra clip.I must have had a lemon. The gun after only a few shots began to expell all of the co2,I went through 10 co2's and a drop of oil on tip, waitng inbetween shots to see if it would settle down.It didn't I called PA and they arranged a pick up from FED-X,Their customer service is great in less than a week I recieved the replacement which appears to be fine. It was not their fault, from now on I will go for the $10.00 test for my next pcp or co2 gun.
What others should know:Not to worry about anything purchased from PA"They will
do everything to rectify any problem that arises.
In all the years of doing business with PA I only had to
return one air gun. They can't be expected to open every gun
that they have in stock. In a short time there wouldn't be
a PA in business.Thats all"I didn't like to give a bad review
but I felt I had to state my opinion.

looks great, feels great, functions flawlessly.Quiet enough to shoot indoors or in the back yard. The sights work fine for me,the more open rear sight seems to enable my aging eyes to focus between the sights and the target better.I like the c02 loading system,it makes for sturdy grips.
Things I would have changed:I wouldn't be too upset if it had more fps.

The trigger: light; crisp; short stroke; short, positive reset. The heft of the pistol evokes muscle memory from practice with firearms. Of course the pistol's mass will also dampen the effects of essential tremor and recoil. The accuracy: perhaps due to the trigger, heft and other ergonomic factors, this pistol is grouping better than I expect from firing steel BBs. The fit and finish: the tight construction and attractive finish give one a sense of the maker's attention to detail.
Things I would have changed:The color of the front sight ... Oh wait ... I *did* change it with a drop of white nail polish. In lighting conditions other than ideal, the front sight was lost in a black bull's-eye. A drop of Revlon fixed that.
What others should know:For those not familiar with the action of a P.08 firearm, because Legends has faithfully reproduced that action here are some items to take into account:
- where not to put your fingers during the firing cycle is a little different, a *proper* grip still works
- your sight picture will be entirely lost at each shot as the rear sight moves on the action joint and the action joint occludes the front sight

I have always wanted a collection of WW2 handguns but could not handle the cost of the real thing. The P08 has the same weight and feel as the real thing all metal construction. The blowback is really good and it remains back after the last BB is fired. Accuracy is very good for a smooth barrel BB pistol.
Things I would have changed:Nothing

Very nice realistic copy of the actual pistol. Lots of fun to shoot. Pretty accurate, holds 2 inch groupings well at 30 to 40 feet. Great balance and feel in the hand. Trigger pull is very easy. Blowback is nice and crisp. Really like that it is metal constructed and very little plastic if any {grips}. Magazine is easy to load co2 and bb's.
Things I would have changed:Knurling on the toggle pull could be a little deeper.
What others should know:You wont regret buying it. Very nice gun to shoot and collect if you are into collecting replicas. I recommend buying the extra magazine.
