    Things I liked:

I own a lot of cartridge firing single action revolvers (18), plus a few CO2 versions. I've never been able to justify dropping $700 plus on a Schofield .45LC replica. It has never had that much appeal for me compared to other six guns. I thought this would be a good substitute. I think I made an excellent choice. This piece is fantastic. I am extremely pleased with the fit, finish, and function. Everything works like it should. Accuracy is on par with my Remington and Colt BB guns. The plastic grips look like pretty realistic wood. The trigger is good, too. The price is comparable to other serious replicas. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a lot of graffiti on the side like the Remington.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change anything about the gun. I always think these replicas would do better in a nice western styled cardboard box rather than cheap plastic blister packaging, but it is minor. The sites aren't very good, but they are like the originals. That was always a complaint about the Schofileds.

    What others should know:

Even though there is a wrench for the CO2 tightening in the handle, I always use a separate allen wrench. I never want to risk breaking a grip. It's easier to control not over-tightening that way, too.

    Things I liked:

great accuracy for a smooth bore gun both bb's and pellets run great easy loading and a very tight action i have ssa's and some other revolvers but for an old west replica its great.

    Things I would have changed:

A rifled barrel and pellet shells. I used the pellet shells from my webley mk4 and they worked great but the webly has a rifled barrel that makes it a little more accurate..

    What others should know:

Great gun for the money..and buy extra shells you wont regret it....

    Things I liked:

I have one original and one clone. This is just fun to shoot at seven yds its very accurate. It looks and feels like the real thing.

    Things I would have changed:

Change the legal disclaimer on the frame to a more subdued color. The silver print takes away from the persona!!

However I would like to see a real wooden grip option in the future.

    Things I liked:

Fit, Finish, and Feel in the hand. Accuracy at 18 feet freehand with BBs is very good. With Pellets it is even better. It has good power when shooting cans and other objects outdoors. At 35 feet accuracy is still pretty good with Pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

    Nothing at this price point.

    What others should know:

Do not use the Allen key built into the grip it may break.

    Things I liked:

Awesome revolver !! Easy to load co2 and ammo. Very accurate at 25' and very good power. Being full metal, the heft and overall look is outstanding.

    Things I would have changed:

Nothing except availability of wood grips.

    What others should know:

I got a set of the fake ivory grips from Pyramyd that make it look even cooler !

    Things I liked:

I like the overall appearance of this Bear River Schofield No. 3 BB revolver. The revolver is all metal except for the plastic grips. The finish of the metal is a uniform, unblemished gunmetal gray color. Although the grips are plastic, they have a very good simulated wood appearance. The grips are very smooth and comfortable to hold. The revolver functions very well. The barrel latch spring is not too heavy. The barrel hinge is very smooth when the cylinder is opened. As a single action revolver, the trigger is very light and short. The hammer cocks very easily. The best overall feature is the excellent accuracy for a BB shooting revolver.

    Things I would have changed:

I wouldn't change anything. However after looking at some pictures of the original firearms, a brass barrel latch would be an attractive highlight on the gunmetal gray revolver.

    What others should know:

Because this revolver fires very easily, handle it with care whenever it is loaded. I tested the accuracy with a variety of BBs by shooting 6 shot groups from a bench rested position at a target distance of 18 feet. My best 6 shot group was 5/8 inch with Umarex Precision Steel BBs. My worst 6 shot group was 1 1/2 inches with Crosman Copperhead BBs. Other 6 shot groups: Smart Shot (1 1/16 inches), Daisy Premium (7/8 inch), Hornady Black Diamond (1 3/16 inches), Avanti (15/16 inch), and Marksman (1 1/16 inches). My total shot count was only about 60 on a single CO2 cartridge.

    Things I liked:

This is a Real Nice Example of the great S&W Schofield Revolver. It looks and works great. I am pleased that Old West Revolvers are making their way to Air Guns. I am very please to own one.

    Things I would have changed:

I would love to see a "Wells Fargo Version". These were made by taking "Army Surplus" which were sold, cutting the barrels to 5" and Nickle Plated and sold to Wells Fargo and were engraved "W. F. & Co." & "W. F. Express Co." and carried by their "Special Agents, Agent/Station Managers, etc."...

    Things I liked:

This is a high quality gun. The look, the feel, the function are all excellent. After two weeks and 300 rounds it is now one of my favorite guns. I find the mechanics of ejecting and loading the shells satisfying. On par with the Colt Peacemaker (my other favorite). Best for cans and other knock down targets.

    Things I would have changed:

Things I did change: I used a black Sharpie on the awful warning verbiage on the guns right side. I then wiped it with a gun cleaning cloth (lightly oiled). The lettering is now nearly invisible. It comes in a blister pack, a bit disappointing.

    What others should know:

I use Excite lead BBs. They hit harder, far less ricochet, a step up from regular BBs.

    Things I liked:

Great looking with real weightiness lending to a solid replica!! Easy to use and shoots accurately enough for having a fun time plinking. And has power- enough to deeply dent a tin can partially splitting it open !! I normally shoot at cardboard targets, but just had to see what this pistol was capable of, so took 2 shots at a tin can from 15 feet and was impressed with the punch this gun has along with getting 80 shots out of my first co2 cylinder shooting outside in 73 degrees!

    Things I would have changed:

The only thing I would change is making a stronger reinforced holder for the hex wrench that is inside the pistol grip for use in tightening and loosening the co2 cylinder. Mine broke out of the pistol grip on the first use. The Colt Peacemaker BB pistol has a much better all metal hex wrench and base in their grip.

    What others should know:

To Pyramyd Air's credit, they quickly sent me a set of the faux Ivory grips free of charge!! There are no spare wood look grips available at this point in time from them and have not heard back at all from Bear River Outdoors who makes these pistols- somewhat disappointed in them! But again Pyramyd Air more than made up for the quick follow-up with new grips!! Always have been very pleased with my many purchases over the years with them!! Thanks especially to Jerry E!

    Things I liked:

Realistic build and weightiness of the pistol. Love the revolver/single action and cylinder with push up cartridges!! I got around 80 shots with one CO2 cartridge - amazing!! And was accurate enough at 5 meters right away!!

    Things I would have changed:

Broke the allen wrench right away that is/was attached to the inside of the pistol grip that comes off to allow putting in the CO2 cartridge...and I did not strong arm it....very disappointed in how "cheap" the pistol grip is....too thin a build to last very long. I have contacted Pyramyd Air about a grip replacement - so will wait to see what happens and then report back. In the mean time since the grip still snaps into place, I am using a 7/32" allen wrench for tightening and loosening the CO2 cartridge...which works just fine...just not as convenient as would be to use the built in wrench.

    What others should know:

Other than the plastic grip needing to be improved to be more durable, I am very happy with the pistol and its operation overall!! If the pistol grip was better and the wrench didn't twist off, I would have rated this pistol a "5"!!

    Things I liked:

The grip looks like wood and does not have any hint of being plastic. The trigger is superb, but be aware, it is light and crisp and you will have to get used to a trigger that responds so well to prompting the shot. Every operating part of the revolver is silky smooth. It has a durable finish. The sights are clear and on my pistol agree exactly with the point of impact. I know that my comments below are not going to be typical of every one of these guns, but this one is unbelievable. I give its accuracy 10 stars!

    Things I would have changed:

Although I am satisfied with the faux wood panels, I would like to be able to buy the faux ivory panels as an accessory and swap them up from time to time.

    What others should know:

I know there will be skeptics to what I am about to write and I do not blame anyone for doubting or suspecting some star-struck novice of writing a claim that will never happen again, but here goes. I am almost 66 years old, I shoot a lot, I am an airgun professional repairman. I know how incredible this sounds. This pistol using H&N Excite Smart Shot BB's will regularly and steadfastly allow me to hit a pencil sized stick standing upright in the ground at 25 yards! I hit it more times than I miss. I am fortunate to have a sample that allows me to carefully align the sights exactly centered on the target with a little windage holdover for the distance and it consistently puts the BB in the same place, time after time! I am astounded by this. I have many other air pistols and some of them have surprising accuracy, but this is beyond anything I have ever seen. I have even shot at small floating objects in my pond out to 45 yards away and have marveled at the consistency this gun has.

    Things I liked:

A thing of beauty, Nicely put together fit and finish are near perfect. Shoots well too, pretty consistent for a BB gun. Buy one you won't be sorry.

    Things I would have changed:

Leave it alone. Its just fine the way it is.

    What others should know:

Buy a lot of ammo. Your not gonna want to put it down. You might also want six extra cartridges along with it.

    Things I liked:

The look and feel of this gun is very close to the real deal. I have a couple S&W originals, and the extractor mechanism is the same. But you don't need it because the cartridges just fall out. The "wood" grips look very good. I also got the "ivory" grips which fit perfectly, but are too shiny for me.

    Things I would have changed:

An adjustable sight. Shoots 3.5" low and to the left @10M. Trigger safety like on the Webley instead of this dumb safety which prevents cocking the hammer.

    What others should know:

If you want accuracy in a Co2 revolver, get the kind where you load the pellets directly into the cylinder. I have 3 Co2 cartridge guns now, and none of them are accurate, even my pellet 715 Dan Wesson... I tested this gun with several pellets and BBs, using front and rear loading cartridges. The best group was 2.5" @10M using Beeman Perfect Rounds, which are half a thou larger than BBs and are no longer available. 4.54mm Rundkugels might be the same. Other groups were 3.5"-4.5". Cartridges are the same as for the Webley, but not the Dan Wesson.

    Things I liked:

The realism! I own a schofield in 38 special from Uberti and this revolver is a good match and great for practice in the winter indoors. I got 78 good shots from the first CO2 canister put in this revolver on a chilly 45 degree day in the garage. Accuracy was fair, shooting 1 1/2 inch groups on a rest at 24 feet and 1 inch groups at 15 feet free hand with an occasional flyer. I don't have a problem with the plastic grips. They look like real wood and the fit was excellent. Since this is a top break, loading and unloading was a breeze. I don't know that a speed loader would make that much of a difference since I only use this revolver for target practice and take my time. The flat black finish is nice but I don't know how durable it will be.

    Things I would have changed:

I agree with many of the other opinions that a blister pack cheapens the appearance of this gun and a box would be an improvement. Extra cartridges (12) would be a bonus when buying this revolver. I ordered a dozen more with the gun but they are on back order.

    What others should know:

I would have preferred a rifled barrel for pellets instead of a BB shooter. Perhaps accuracy could have been better.

    Things I liked:

I like the look and feel, almost exactly like the real thing I have shot. If you like holding a REALLY nice replica in your hands, and feeling what a REAL one would be like in your hands, then you TRULY need to get this gun. You will thank me later.

    Things I would have changed:

Make a pellet version with a rifled barrel.

    What others should know:

If you decide to try finding a speed loader, you will not be able to. You WILL find cartridges that are IN a speed loader, mentioning that the CARTRIDGES will fit your Schofield No. 3, and THAT is true. But that speed loader WILL NOT WORK. However (I sometimes just LOVE however_ sometimes, not-too-much!), if you purchase the Dan Wesson speed loader to use with those cartridges, GUESS WHAT? YEAAAAAAA!! IT WORKS. I do not know if there are different Dan Wesson speed loaders, but the one for my short barrel 2-1/2" revolver works just fine. And while I am not SURE, I THINK you can get the speed loader without the Dan Wesson shells - but don't hold me to it.
