    Things I liked:

Super accurate, very consistent, and incredible shot count.

    Things I would have changed:

Get the .25 cal on the market already!!!! Settled for a .22 for my daughters 12th bday and but wish I would have waited for a belated .25 (or someone else to come out with a better model)..the .22 pellets get knocked around by the wind quite a bit. The trigger is fine for the price point but the action is HORRIBLE.....do not get this for anyone who cant bench press their own body weight....if you are an adult with strong hands cocking and chambering a pellet is manageable, but the force needed to seat the pellet is unacceptably hard. Not a fan of the floating barrel either....if you bump it at all it takes a few shots to auto-correct itself and if you hunt with it it will get bumped with as long as it is. Also, a bipod will not work on a Gauntlet unless you customize a spacer (drill, sand, and shape a chunk of plastic)....what was Umarex thinking with that forearm design at the sling stud!!!!

    What others should know:

Watch to see if Hatsan counters with a better model. If they can put together a flash or a flashpup with a larger reservoir and regulator capable....it would be worth paying a little extra....nonetheless, until someone else comes out with a large reservoir, regulated PCP at this price-point, I dont know that I could recommend anything else

    Things I liked:

Unbelievable accuracy ! Shooting .22 H+N barracuda match pellets and getting 1/4" , 10 shot groups at 25 yrds off a rest. Bare minimum 50 shots , probably more, same P.O.I. Im not kidding, its true

    Things I would have changed:

Bottle shroud. Lousy fit, dont like it. But i fixed it :-)

    What others should know:

This rifle is an outstanding value if...... Your a tinkerer, it needs a little fine tuning and you dont mind messin with it a little. Trigger can be very good with some adjustments, shroud can be corrected. I own rifles that are 3x as expensive and dont group any better. If your lookin for fancy wood , look elsewhere. Great accuracy, great shot count, great price !

    Things I liked:

This is my first PCP Air Rifle; was easy to setup and operate. I had a few questions and Pyramyd Air was right there to answer and direct me. You can't beat the features for the price...REALLY. Very accurate hunting rifle and for pests. Out of the box, after zeroing, my first 10 shot group at 50 yards was just over 1". The noise reduction system on the rifle is very nice. I bought the bundle package and was very happy with all of the supplied items. I am very pleased overall with this purchase. PA is a great company to do business with.

    Things I would have changed:

Operating the bolt to the lock position and/or to chamber a pellet is a bit stiff and hard to pull back. I hope this will smooth out as it is used more. I did find that the hand pump gives you a good workout for an old guy of 71, but okay if you don't shoot a lot. I have charged my cylinder to 3000 psi and it has held this pressure for over two weeks now...ready to chamber a pellet and shoot. I think I'll buy a compressor if I really get into these PCP's.

    What others should know:

The Gauntlet 22 cal. has some weight and is a full size rifle, but holds very well on target. I had some concerns, when I first received it, that the barrel and forearm seemed a bit flimsy...loose...not a solid fit together but my concerns faded when I started to zero the rifle. My experience with this PCP has been as advertised..no surprises, disappointments and/or regrets. Would order another without hesitation and it would be from Pyramyd Air.

    Things I liked:

Loves the COAL FENIX 9.57gr, shooting 1/8" group at 20yrds while zeroing UTG scope. Quieter than thought. Lighter pellet are louder & hear it in their speed.

    Things I would have changed:

It is a heavy pcp, but can live with it. The barrel shroud loosens check it. CLEAN BARREL GOOD when you get it.

    What others should know:

Beeman 7.2 hp seem to shoot ok, Crossman 7.9 hp are not as accurate, waiting to try other pellets 8.34 - 10grs. The .177 should be good hunting if you do your part. Opt for .22, wish I did. For more knock down power.

Nice gun at a great price point. Mine is pellet picky and only likes mid weight jsb pellets.

    Things I would have changed:

Have the umarex people get them at least close advertised fps. Mine was 700 out of the box. And after some time studying adding shims and getting the psi right. Then testing 10 different pellets to find out light jbs pellets worked best.

    What others should know:

All in all a great gun and fun to shoot!

fps with Crossman 14.3gr. 824fps jsb 14.35.gr 832 fps jsb 13,43gr. 855fps air arms 16 gr. 808fps. fired 10 shots with each very good spread under 20 fps on all and only 6fps on aa 16 gr one hole at 33 yards with aa 16 rest under 1/2 very satisfied it is every thing I had hoped for. trickier long pull but ez fix tighten one screw and take out over pull and a round 2 # as is vary usable For once. At 71 years old every thing I expected thank you Umarex this is a real game changer I have ben in air guns since I was 8 years old 1954 first gun was a .22 Crosman 130 pump up pistol and owned every thing from a Fenwick bow 124 1976 on in modern guns so I know of what I speak.

    Things I would have changed:

a little more fps and maybe a few less shots I could live with 40 shots LOL.

    What others should know:

leaked air when I got it as it was on 0 started to fill with my compressor and air came out barrel so I charged to 1000 psi with bottle and fired it 8 or 10 times then finished filling to 3000 psi no leaks now at all and holding air good.

Accuracy, power, multishot, 60-70 shots per fill, relatively quiet, great value for price.

    Things I would have changed:

Extremely hard ro lock bolt back initially. Requires a break-in period before bolt action smooths out.

    Things I liked:

the adjustable trigger. I got most of the gritty and mushy trigger pull away with a short and light break. i also like the 60 shot counts with 14grains at 815 fps average, 87 high and 805 low.

    Things I would have changed:

the stock or the weight of the gun. the stock itself is almost 3 pounds, together it's 10 pounds with rings and scope. wow, i am not lugging that thing around in the woods, i am gonna camp, bait, and shoot. at the end of the day, it's a bench shooter. the bolt is stiff, but gotten better as i shot it.

    What others should know:

if you plan on buying this gun, just go ahead and pull the trigger, get it. for 299, you get a lot of gun for your money. it's very accurate, very consistent with shot counts. i was getting 60 shots from 3000psi to 1000psi all at 815fps average with 14 grains pellets. the rifle is backyard friendly, very quite. at least quieter than my condor ss modded, my condor sounds almost like a .22 rimfire. if there is one thing i dont like, it's the weight of the rifle. maybe getting rid of the stock and make a lightweight one.

love the high shot count but you shoot much more than you would with a break barrel. the thing shoots great. only been able to shoot to 50 yrds but holding 1" easy with 18.13 jumbo heavys

    Things I would have changed:

trigger..do the mod it makes it better. sling swevels are worthless..moded the frount for a bipod.

    What others should know:

stock up on pellets....you will hate to put it down

    Things I liked:

I like the shot count on this rifle, with14 grains and i was getting 827fps high, 805 low, and average 815fps with almost 60 shots from 3000psi to 1000psi. I stopped counting after 25 shots and i know i shot 3 mags after then some more off the chronograph. accuracy is good to excellent, i only tried crosman domes 14 grains and it was pretty consistent at 25 yards. I like the hpa bottle design. in theory, you can up the output beyond 1250 psi a little and install a heavy spring and hammer to get better FPS, but that requires custom making your own parts.

    Things I would have changed:

whatever i gotta do to change the weight of the rifle? it's weighting in at a whooping 10 pounds with a Simmon 22mag scope and rings. What in the world!!!!I aint gonna lug around 10 pounds in the woods that's for sure. i would totally get a bullpup stock if there is one out there.

    What others should know:

READ on if you want to buy this air rifle!!! the bolt is hard to actuate, very stiff. the hpa bottle cover is cheaply slid on and held by the sling stud. take down and disassembly is time consuming. it ain't no 5 minutes dis-and assemble, it will take some getting used to. the trigger is horrible, long, and mushy with unpredictable break. However, the trigger is very adjustable, I set it so there is very little travel and light break. so the mushy feeling is felt less. it is there but it's now felt by only a fraction of a sec before the clean break so it's almost unnoticeable. it needs a polishing job but thats for a later day. If you heard negative comments about the trigger, you heard it from someone who can't set the trigger right or that it's very hard to please them. I love this trigger! the rifle is not heavy, but the stock is, it's almost 3 pounds due to the cheek piece. this is a very quite back yard shooter.

    Things I liked:

A very good metered PCP for the money. It is quiet and has good out of the box accuracy. I have it paired with a good Hawke scope. At 50 yards it will shoot half dollar groups, but a have to shoot more. I believe the pairing get better as I get better and let the gun wear in.

    Things I would have changed:

The gun has a very rough bolt, ie. hard to cock on the back stroke (spring feels stiff) and hard to load the next pellet. I am hoping this gets better with use.

    What others should know:

Trigger is ok, ie. a little long first stage, but it is adjustable if you are willing to disassemble the rifle.

    Things I liked:

The bipod I bought actually fitted on the swivel closes to the trigger and made it a whole lot more fun , tested the shot string in my house and I got 25 constant shots from 2000 to 1200, and 68 from 3000 to 1050 crazy insane shot count with this price range

    Things I would have changed:

Little better casing to surround air tank , made the safety more smoothly I always feel like its going to snap off when I swap back and fourth Overall a well balanced air rifle

    What others should know:

Jsb 15.89 grain are the best grouping at 50 yards , shot over 60 rounds with 6 magazines and didnt Jan up one me once

    Things I liked:

Excellent foray into PCP for the first timer. Regulated feature is an real value added for this rifle. Once sighted, it is very accurate.

    Things I would have changed:

Trigger pull; is long but smooth and consistent. Short and crisp is more desirable. The barrel is free floating from the receiver, I prefer some sort of support at the forearm for stability. Magazine is finicky on pellet point shape.

    What others should know:

Ensure the first pellet does not extent from the magazine opening, otherwise difficulty in seating occurs.
