Clear glass. Lots of light through the 30mm tube and 50mm objective. Torrents feel solid with excellent feedback on each click of adjustment. Holds zero perfectly well at all magnifications. Everything about this scope appears to be very well made and of high quality. Certainly far higher quality than other optics in this price range.
Things I would have changed:The scope is a little on the heavy side, but that comes with high quality materials and build.
What others should know:There are better scopes and there as a LOT of worse scopes, but in this price range or even twice the price range at the $109 offer I took advantage of here, it's a no-brainer. It out performs any other similarly priced option out there. I was so impressed I purchased a second. I have one a Benjamin Bulldog .357 and the other on an Airforce Texan LSS .308 and both are absolute tack drivers. I couldn't be more pleased.

The length of this scope is just 13.75" which is nice if your dealing with a Bear Trap that's located on the right side of your rifle and you are right handed. My under-lever air rifle is charged by my right hand, loaded, and charging lever returned with my right hand. This makes it almost impossible to hold down the trap lever and do all the rest too, so, I reach over from the left while holding the rifle with that hand and push down the bear trap with my thumb, if the scope is to long it makes this impossible and I have to use my right, which is very tough to do as stated above. This scope makes it easy to use my left for the trap. Also, I like the Parallax adjustment on the right side instead of on the objective end, it's just easier to adjust when your aiming at the target, it also gives you a very clear image when adjusted. When using the power ring I keep it set on 14 at 35 yards and the target is bright and clear. These are a few reasons why I love this scope!
Things I would have changed:The manual that came with the scope is generic and of little help.
What others should know:The elevation and windage adjustments are nice size knobs with very good positive CLICKS, when adjusting. And something that I like very much, is that you actually see movement of POI after you make even a small adjustment, which doesn't happen to often with other scopes I have used. Let me end by saying that I do not have a lot of experience with scopes so with that said, I really do like this one! It's easy to use, VERY, bright and clear image can be had and seems to stay on target. For the $109.00 price what can you loose trying one. I am glad that I did!!! and plan to buy another.
